I just got my Tazer JL Mini delivered. Can't wait to get it installed tomorrow. Mostly to kill the Stop Start, be able to creep with door open, blackout mode. The more annoyances I can remove, the better. I'm sure I'll wish I did it sooner.
Does a Tazer void my warranty? No! The Tazer makes no permanent changes to your vehicle and does not violate your warranty. You should, however, return to stock by “Unmarrying” and removing the Tazer from your vehicle before dealer service to avoid complicating their job. Leaving the Tazer plugged can in some cases interfere with dealer tools and cause confusion if the dealer’s not familiar with the device.
Yes bunch of videos on lockers on my channel. Search locker and they will pop up. With the tazer ypu can set it up so you can use your rear locker in 2wd and 4 high and can use both lockers in 4 high . In 4 low you can use rear or both as well
@Forthetimebeing72 I don't use that feature so not sure. But if yoy search wrangler jl tazer mini on youtube I know other videos have shown and went thru every feature it does and they probably show it
Hi mate great video as usual . I bought my mini for the front trail cam aftermarket and once unmarried it still works. I am still under warranty in Australia and no isues yet but I do unmarry each time. The settings are kept once yo marry again. The only thing on your video is you said you will keep the tazer, we jeep paople are so sharing but as I understand its one tazer per jeep and cant be shared??? happy to be corrected before I sahare mine? Could you make a video with all settings 15 pages of a manual and a one stop place would be awesome. Happy wheeling brother.
@barryhughes5082 lots of good videos on all the features of the tazer. And as long as the functions are not live functions they stay active when the unit is removed. And then the unit can be shared to another jeep.
Thanks for the video curious with the taser mini when you uninstall it to bring it to the dealership is there anything else you have to do or you just unplug it and that’s it thank you🙏
@dominica2765 definitely easy as long as you get the tazer extension cord. It will make instal and take it out so much eraser. It's a tight fit to get your hands up there.
@@dominica2765 Its so worth having. I will never own a jeep without a tazer mini. I went the first 5k miles without it and when I got it all the annoying crap was solved.
@hzy1234 reason I didn't put the link for rhe tazer mini or the extension cord is prices are all over the board and change often. It's worth typing tazer mini jl into Google and hit shopping to find the best deals. Some will be 329 some will be 500. It's all the same product but prices are really all over
@@Jason-Samko Okay, that makes sense. Thanks! I snagged a mini and the extension to make life a little easier. I appreciate the content to show some additional use cases that I hadn't considered as well. It really helps put to perspective, functional use and practical use. Thanks!
I have a batter bank on the passenger side of the console that is always being charged from the 12v when the truck is on. From the batter bank I run 2 chargers over to the drivers side to charge camera batteries and lights etc. The USB plugged into the media outlet under the plastic flap is my dash cam.
Okay I'm sold. Just no seat belt chime and being able to open the door and look down without listening to the freakn truck... Its basically like you have your truck normal again like they used to be. When cars were NORMAL. Wonder what they have to shut up a Tacoma with all the stupid lights and chimes. Hey i know you take it out for dealership trips but when you run it on the scanner does anything come up for fault codes or that can show the things deactivated?
No code or anything showed up. All this module does turn on and off some features theu the computer system. Only reason we even need to remove it is so the dealers scan tool reads everything correctly. Just removing it to reduce interference.
Yet I paid full price for it and tazer doesn't even know who I am. So that should say something about how much I love it. Infomercial style or not. Makes no difference on what I think of it and why I promote it. But appreciate the comment
Hi Jason, I didn’t see this video and got a superchips flashcal+. All I did was change the tire size to 33.75” as I measured my 35” Nitto recon. I was playing around with the DRL setting and all of sudden the service transmission and also two warning lights for forward crash collision is on. The Jeep is in “limp mode” I learned from websearch and can’t go faster than 50-60. I talked to superchips and they couldn’t do anything, tried all reset procedures but still there. I returned the superchip to extreme terrain and dropped off jeep to the dealer to help with the reflash and will hear back next week. I hope the tire size is memorized or if the dealer can adjust it. I’m worried to used another bypass to do it myself even though I believe you when you say the tazer mini is legit. What do you think? 2024 Gladiator Sport S manual transmission with 800 miles currently.

@@Mekanik_Joe yep love the tazer mini
@Jason-Samko Day one, and I LOVE it. Holy smokes. This fixed most all of the annoyances I had with the jeep.
@Mekanik_Joe perfect
Should I remove it when I bring it to the dealer for just oil change and tire rotation?
No. I would only remove mine if I had a problem that required them to hook up a scan tool to get codes

😂😂
Hahaha
I’ve been to my dealer a few times forgot to remove mine no issues also… I have a pedal commander for my ecoD works awesome
Yep my deal said it's not tuning or changing the engine we don't have a problem with it.
Do you have a video on the axle lockers? I’m looking for the settings on the mini and an explanation if you don’t mind

I checked out the Razor Mini online and was curious if that would be able to program a front trail can for non-Rubicons?
Good question. Not sure if it can control the front cams
Zauto has on their website a camera kit when you use their product. Setup is turned on using the CAB CAMERA.
Hey, great video. Can you confirm that it also sets the alarm off when the hood is opened while the doors are locked?
@Forthetimebeing72 I don't use that feature so not sure. But if yoy search wrangler jl tazer mini on youtube I know other videos have shown and went thru every feature it does and they probably show it

Thank you seems too easy🤣

Once you change all of the settings does it need to stay installed or can you remove it?
Some features need it to be plugged in to work. Others do not.

I can confirm it’s the best quality of life mod next to isolating or deleting the aux battery
Yep such a great tool
Does the 0-60 work?
Don't know. These are all the features I use show in the video
