Not sure if you're aware, but hustle doesent effect the accuracy of special moves, which togekiss is much better off using anyway, so hustle actually isn't that bad.
Hey Mr HG! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and I had an idea for a challenge I’d love to see! _TLDR_ : It involves Johto, a wide variety of Pokémon, mass death, and limiting your ability to cheese strat your way out of every problem. All your standard Nuzlocke rules apply. One encounter per route. No over leveling. Every time you enter a major battle (gym/elite4) once the battle is finished your team must be sacrificed to the GODS ☠️ This means you must always have a spare Pokémon in the box. You are pushed to come up with unique strategies with brand new teams. You get to use Gyarodos and poison-stall stats, but only once! and you get to chose when you need it most. I thought this challenge would be best served in Johto as it is a region known for having a flat level curve come the mid game, and with you having to start from scratch each time, this weakness would actually become rather fun! It also makes it a gamble. Do you take 5 Pokémon in to flatten Whitney’s gym leaving you only 2 Pokémon to challenge Morty? This is where the challenge becomes your own. This challenge was just a fun thought experiment to try and make Johto a more challenging experience. I call it HeartBreak Gold/SoulCrush Silver! But call it whatever you want. Bonus rule for more difficulty: EXP can only be earned by available trainers. No Wild Pokémon grinding!! Have fun and looking forward to seeing whatever you make next!
Been watching your videos since the first Fire Red nuzlocke and I genuinely enjoy every single one. you're amazing and you've made my tough times so much easier. Please never stop ❤️
I find it so poetic that united has hustle. Which decreases its accuracy and improves damage. Like how could you not describe united as being crap better than that.
Pretty much the first ever YTer that got me interested in Nuzlockes. Thanks for showing me another side of Pokemon I never saw before. Also, do a Bug type Nuzlocke, pls. Any version will do. °w°
I found your channel through your last random portal challenge with SmallAnt. You didn't seem very confident to me during that game, but after checking your channel, I realized that your content is great!! You should be more confident!!
What I recommend, regarding Pokemon you've used before in previous nuzlockes, is to simply ban them from being a valid encounter if you've successfully run one in the past. Like, if you raised a Gyarados and it survived the final champion fight, then from then on, you can no longer use Gyarados in future runs anywhere else. I do this because it's otherwise boring to be stuck with a Pokemon I've had in a past run end up on the team and the whole point of the nuzlocke is to use Pokemon you've never used before or would ever use. It keeps the team variety going.
I felt you during the togepi rant lol. I'm doing a hc nuzlocke of black 2 challenge mode and it seems like every mon I get has its least useful ability. run away raticate, wonder skin sigilyph, magnet pull magneton; all the hits.
You should try a "mono-ability" run. I'd doing a mono-technician run right now (non-nuzlocke) in Renegade Platinum and its pretty fun. Might not work with the first encounter rule of nuzlockes since you have to reroll encounters to get the right ability sometimes though.
You could've taught Pluck to a Pokémon. What it does is take the berry from its holder and uses it. Its TM is in Floaroma Town. You could've taken the Oran Berry from Purugly that way.
The second he said he wasn't using Gyarados, my mind went to Looney Tunes at the scene where one of the off-screen characters was saying, "You'll be sorry!"
Great vid Flygon. But just one thing. Hustle does NOT affect special moves , so a Togekiss with hustle is basically a Togekiss with no ability, it's still a fantastic pokemon cause of it's bulk and encore. If you used stuff like Flamethrower or Psychic on it, you dont need to worry about them missing cause hustle only affects physical moves.
It would be cool to see some kind of "Underweight" or "Overweight" pokemon only run where you only catch pokemon that fit that role according to their BMI based on their pokedex entry

Every time you enter a major battle (gym/elite4) once the battle is finished your team must be sacrificed to the GODS ☠️
This means you must always have a spare Pokémon in the box.
Too time consuming I'd say
Been watching your videos since the first Fire Red nuzlocke and I genuinely enjoy every single one. you're amazing and you've made my tough times so much easier. Please never stop ❤️
"I hope it's cold in there buddy. Maybe if you Hustle a bit you can warm yourself up'
My sidesss
as a British person I really appreciate the commitment to the bit in the way you never pronounced the letter T in British
I find it so poetic that united has hustle. Which decreases its accuracy and improves damage. Like how could you not describe united as being crap better than that.
Love the Albuquerque reference🤭
Pretty much the first ever YTer that got me interested in Nuzlockes. Thanks for showing me another side of Pokemon I never saw before.
Also, do a Bug type Nuzlocke, pls. Any version will do. °w°
25:15 wow I can't believe you predicted terastalisation
Vespiquen is one of my all time favorite pokemon, I love it when she gets some love
I found your channel through your last random portal challenge with SmallAnt. You didn't seem very confident to me during that game, but after checking your channel, I realized that your content is great!! You should be more confident!!
This video has almost all reasons why I love Crobat. The other reasons are that I have a plushie bat, and Crobat is a bat, but also it looks so cool.
Love that you called Crobat "Bri-ish" every time. Kept cracking me up when you would say it 3-4 times in a battle
I was unreasonably excited when you named Qantas. Spirit of Australia!
Love these videos for background noise as I work, sleep, play games, etc. Keep it up! You make me want to try my own nuzlock this summer
this was released on my birthday and gliscor is the thumbnail and he is one of my top 10 favorite mons. this is gonna be good
'everyone knows that ads are just the worst'
also flygon: is doing an ad
I felt you during the togepi rant lol. I'm doing a hc nuzlocke of black 2 challenge mode and it seems like every mon I get has its least useful ability. run away raticate, wonder skin sigilyph, magnet pull magneton; all the hits.
You should try a "mono-ability" run. I'd doing a mono-technician run right now (non-nuzlocke) in Renegade Platinum and its pretty fun. Might not work with the first encounter rule of nuzlockes since you have to reroll encounters to get the right ability sometimes though.
It would count the same as the monotype runs, you can only catch the first /eligible/ encounter. So you can reroll until you get a technician mon
I used a Mothim in my Shinning pearl game and swept Cynthia's whole team while under leveled. It was brilliant!
Are you sure it wasn't "shining"😉
I'm happy to say my parakeet was chirping (and screaming) listening to this video.
It would be cool to see some kind of "Underweight" or "Overweight" pokemon only run where you only catch pokemon that fit that role according to their BMI based on their pokedex entry
My soul breaks for you every single hustle togepi. Togekiss is my fav and ive been dying to see you use him in a run. Tragic.
“Air France is completely unhinged and is out for blood” is something I can safely say I never thought I’d hear, yet here we are
Ah yes.. a TEAM SKY platinum nuzlocke playthrough 😈🔥
i was actual screaming when american clutched out on chomp, american and southwest were the GOATS and i’m happy some of my top 30 flying mons were important to the run
