as a cultured man myself, I can assure you that Flygon has impeccable pronunciation. He also knows exactly what a duck is and how it's the template for Torchic
Flannery's AI doesn't see a kill with Overheat, and since Pelipper resists Fire, that removes Overheat from being the AI's priority and it starts randomly choosing moves until it sees a win condition. That's how the AI handles setup combos like Sunny Day into Overheat AFAIK.
Imagine being Wallace in that last battle. He's got a team of rare and high-level monsters with diverse types and... wait, did that trainer send out a Swellow? Is it injured? Yeah, it's burned! Well this is going to be- *gets destroyed*
Switch training to optimize ev's was just brilliant to see. Not many people would think about that, not to mention be ready to do that. Yet another fun run. More of these please. Maybe one in Platinum nobody has done before?

Also, Gyarados is Flying type due to the type being the closest type to Dragon. If Gyarados was Water/Dragon in Gen 1 it would have no weakness since Dragon Rage couldn't do super effective damage.
You should tell that to psychic types. Even if ghost wasn’t bugged and bug had strong moves, the only Pokémon with offensive ghost/bug moves are part poison or jolteon with low attack
They should’ve just increased magikarp’s evolution level and kept gyarados as a dragon type to increase the incentive of sticking with such a useless fish.

Fun fact the AI in gen 3 cheats, it actually knows the damage rolls and if a status affliction will go off before it chooses it’s moves, so yeah it probably saw the paralysis. The ONLY time a move is certain is if the AI sees a kill. Other wise it’s random between status/buff and the highest damage attack. Which probably explains the attract. Don’t take this as gospel though, I could be wrong, it’s just what seems true from playing emerald Kaiso
I do love guts boosted pokemon. To the point that if I catch one, once the encounter table shows a pokemon with ember or poison sting, I'll pkhex a flame orb onto it, rather than seeking that pokemon out. Great video!
I was literally having an inner conflict about how to pronounce "facade". I realised now as an adult the move was an actual word you pronounce differently but I couldn't let go of how I pronounced it as a kid so it stays that way for me😅
