Seeing chevelle in october. Amazing underrated band.

Saw em with 3 days grace at the aragon in Chicago, they put on an excellent show!
I saw them on the 14th. They did fantastic. What'd you think? My only complaint was they played too many songs from NIRATIAS but it was the NIRATIAS tour so like duh lol.

This song was a mega-hit back when it first came out, Was like #1 for 4 weeks before getting dethroned by Staind's "So Far Away".
If i remember correctly, originally the band was all 3 brothers then at some point 1 brother was kicked out and they brought in the Brother in-law

There's two sides to the story and quite a build-up.
Pete's side;
Joe seemed unhappy with constant touring and lack of participation in the studio and showing up late to recording sessions.
Joe's side;
Pete and Sam blind sided him after a concert, saying he was out. That the press release was bull, and they wanted him gone. He could never offer any input because Pete controlled everything. He showed up to record and Pete just hand him music to play.
The brother-in-law Dean left in 2019 to spend more time with his family.
Reading and watching the interviews, it was a messy break with Joe. Sam said in one that they didn't see Joe at family get together when asked how Thanksgivings were like.
Send the Pain Below was released in 2002 on "Wonder What's Next" the same Album as "The Red" and "Closure"
Closure is dope, same thing with Forfeit. Honestly the whole album is dope, Send the Pain Below just got overplayed in my market. Chevelle is still one of my favorite bands!!!

Although this wasn’t their hardest hitting track, it was a great one to turn up on the 6 disc CD changer stereo and let it rip. Very soothing and melodic compared to some of their other stuff.
I have seen them 4 times. They're great live, great band. I caught a guitar pic @ the HOB NOLA show right after they played this song for their encore. It was a glorious "shroom" night.

Yeah if I remember correctly they are all brothers. They ended up kicking the bassist out of the group at one point as well I think.

This is a record label song. It's not exactly one of their best songs but it is one of their most popular. For me, it is easily one of their weakest songs to date, it's commercial and basic as fuck.
