New Orleans style Barbecue Turkey necks | Oven-baked

- New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make oven-baked barbecue Turkey necks. The Turkey necks are cleaned, seasoned, marinated, and slow baked until tender. A homemade barbecue sauce is added on to the turkey necks. Next, it's added into the oven broiler for a few minutes, making a delicious, well-seasoned and falling off the bone delicious batch of barbecue turkey necks. This recipe serves 4 to 6 people, and it is delicious. Hope you all will give this recipe a try.

1st time I had turkey necks was visiting my southern relatives from Tennessee. Never had or heard of barbecue turkey necks but this is so inspirational. When I visit my brother in Georgia n May I'm definitely going 2 make this instead of the usual barbecue ribs. Thanks Charlie! 😋

Wow! Extreme cooking! Gonna give that a shot! My Dad always ate the chicken neck and the back. That was before you could buy parts and pieces. He’d save the “good pieces” for mom and us kids. When my sister got married, she had everyone for supper. She fried about five pounds of chicken necks. She was embarrassed when someone told her that Daddy only ate them so we could get the better pieces. To this day, the back and neck have become my favorite. However, been a long time since I’ve seen a whole chicken 😩
