These are now a CRUTCH in our household. Thank you so much for the amazing recipe and video! Made this HOUSTON mamas life and house a lot happier. You rock!
Turkey wings look good. I'm getting ready to try this recipe out. I'm cooking turkey wings for my husband tonight, I'm praying they turn out like yours 😊❤❤❤. Thank you for the video. Ok.....I'm back to let you know it's a winner in my kitchen my husband loved those turkey wings...you heard me 😂because he's a picky eater meaning if ain't right he's not eating it and he will let me know.... period. Guess what I'm in the kitchen as I type baking more smoked turkey wings 😂 Thank you again 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Im going to try this recipe this weekend for my turkey legs for the first time making them so ill let you know how it turned out. Thank you sir for an amazing video❤
I just made these right here!!!!!! DA BOMB!!!!! I tell ya..... Only thing i would do different is not cook them for 3 hrs....about 2ish is good for me. But the flava!!!!!!! Thans for sharing
Thanks for the recipe. It tasted good on the roasted veggies I had under the turkey parts. God bless you and your family. Happy Sabbath, Exodus 20:8-11.
LOVE IT 👩🍳 I'm gonna try drumsticks, thighs and wings using your method instead of a traditional whole turkey (boring) 🤪 hope all the parts get cooked in 4-1/2 hours!
That’s what I do for thanksgiving 😊 but I put mine’s in pressure cooker first and then cream of chicken soup onions and peppers then in oven❤ I’ll never make a whole turkey again
I made these this past weekend. Turned out pretty good, the only problem is getting the seasoning to hold to the wings. I will try them again but with maybe with a light coat of brown mustard or honey.
Sorry for the late response, the seasoning should stick as long as you mix it in with the softened butter. Make sure the butter is only softened, and not melted or partially melted. The seasonings SHOULD stick and be absorbed by the meat if you do that. Take note that seasoning will no longer be visible but the flavor will be there! I honestly think honey or brown sugar would take it to a whole nother' level! Great idea!
@@jleats86 I did do it with the soft butter. It didn't hold to the turkey like yours did, but the flavor was there along with the look. I'm gonna hit it up again this MLK weekend. I got three ways I'm going to try it. One pack with the honey brown mustard and one with a light brown sugar. I want to be careful with the sugar cause I want a light scorch and not a burn. I'll let you know how they turn out.
This is the second time I’m making these, made a few mistakes by taking shortcuts the first time (didn’t use double foil) 🤦♀️ anyhow you can’t be fooled into thinking this is a simple recipe - it ain’t! I meticulously dried the turkey with paper towels removing all the moisture so the creole butter would stick and “massage” it into the turkey like you do so beautifully in the video - OMG the butter wouldn’t stick and kept sliding off and sticking to my glove instead and it was SO FU**ING FRUSTRATING finally I just wrapped em tightly without the massage 🥲 but I’d love if u could share your secret to making the paste stick to the wings! I’m sure they’re gonna kick ass anyway 🤪
Thanks for watching, I'm sorry you had a little trouble with the butter. For me, I try to soften them but not too much. There may even be some solidlike chunks still in it. And make sure you use real butter and not margarine. Then massage those wings like your trying to get a second date! Lol
@@kerrisidore930Some ppl believe aluminum releases some kind of toxins when heated. I personally don't care what kind of toxins are released... My granny uses foil all the time and she ain't dead yet. She's 91.
I hope it turns out well for you too! I don't know how it will be with liquid butter, but some of the best recipes were created by accident, so good luck! And Thanks for watching!
I hope everything turned out ok, I said to half the recipe because it may be a little salty for some people. And you can always add salt later but you can't take away once it's cooked in. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving!
Not me thinking Turkey wings are just for seasoning your greens 🥬 😮😮 My guy is 16 yrs my senior and keeps wanting me to make some. I said that’s for collard greens!! Stop buying smoked lol 😂. Thanks for this . Looks delicious 😋 I’m headed home to make his wings
I made these few weeks ago and I’m going back to the store to make them again. Family LOOOVED them!
I'm very happy to hear that! That's the reason I do this! 😉😊
This video popped up in my feed A SINGLE DAY after I was talking to my wife about cooking straight wings instead of a full Turkey haha, perfect

Aye you trying to make me make a trip down to Texas haha, those wings looked official!
Thanks man! I'd love to make them for you one day!
This is how we eat in Texas!

Thanks for watching brother! 🙏🏾
Health measure- use parchment paper between the turkey and the foil
HEARD!
I’m genuinely curious, why cause I’ve never done it

Not necessary. This is his recipe, not yours.
Send some my way bro
I gotchu bruh! 😉💯😂🙏🏾
Boil for 2 hours? The water won’t dissipate?
You may have to periodically add more water but it shouldn't be watered down because there's already a lot of salt.
@@jleats86 thanks for the reply. I couldn’t do it.. 😢 after 5 minutes The smell was making me sick
@@Tigeabeeu probably can’t cook then
I love using my accent I thought I was the only one lol
Accent is the secret cheat code to any great chef/cook! Respect! 💪🏾💯
My boy I almost clicked off when you said no salt lmao😂😂😂 needs my salt
I hope mine look this good , I already messed up & done boiled my butter down to a liquid lmao
Salt is essential! All the seasoning in the world is useless if it doesn't have salt, in my opinion.

Cooking this today looks delicious!
That's a huge wing...imagine the bird it came off of
I know right!
made these for Thanksgiving and cut the seasoning in half😳😳🤷🏾♀️
