ok, to save even more money, let me share with you all a re-usable molding material. Take equal parts of vegetable glycerin and unflavored gelatin. mix on low heat with NO WATER in a pan. once the gelatin is dissolved, pour the mixture over whatever you want to make a mold of. Let it cure for a hour or so. It will be very stable. It can handle resins as well. This is why i add no water. Its cheaper than silicon and can be remelted.
I love Feather Lite! I used the full sized units to cast all the scales on my Zorah Magdaros armor and the costume was still incredibly light weight!
Instead of taking the time to tie up the mold, why not use c clamps?
Where do you get the molds and how strong are the final products? Like could it survive being hit on stuff by a kid?
