@@emptyteardrops can I just be really annoying and correct you? It’s coincidence not coinsdense, I taught myself English so I know the struggle of not knowing how to spell some words 🥲
Your cosplays are so lovely! Your very talented. The way you explain it it makes something that seems so complicated seem simple and doable. I dream of making cosplays and my own clothes. With amazing influences like you I’m sure I’ll figure it out sooner or later! ❤️🔥
You are a lifesaver!! I'm doing a She-Ra cosplay as well and I was struggling big time. I have a convention this weekend so now's crunch time :) thank you so much
how many yards of fabric do I need to make this? I just bought the pattern and now I'm on the hunt for fabric :-) also is there an alternative to scuba that we can use if we can't find any?
Im making this pattern now it took me about 3 yards of white fabric though I did make a few mistakes! I used lycra instead of scuba as well, and it's worked just fine, though it is a bit more sheer (see through)
Thank you for making this video! I'm trying to follow but I'm trying to stay on a budget, would any material work for the shoulder pads or just what you used? I have remade my shoulder pads three times and I can't get them to stick up. 😩
Oh man....I had a dream of making the season 5 version of She-ra's outfit involving white leggings and go-go boots, but the earlier version seems way more manageable! You've made an excellent tutorial!
great tutorial, i love all the details but i do have one question for you though. When you were adding the gold stretch trim to the bottom of the shirt and the side of the shorts were you using a straight stitch? Or were you using some sort of stretch stitch and just didn't mention it. I only ask because i never know when i can get away with using the straight stitch when using stretch fabric. Amazing job! Thanks again!!
I think when I made this I was using a straight stitch for pretty much everything! I would often just stretch the fabric a bit while sewing to get it to have a bit more give. For scuba fabric which was the base of this and has only really got 2 directions of stretch you can use a straight stitch for anything vertical but then if you want to be safe use a very shallow zigzag stitch for horizontal stuff. Like I said I didn't do it for this costume! But nowdays I will try use a zigzag that's set to a width of like 1 so it's basically straight with a tiny bit of give and it's barely noticeable :3
I love this tutorial! Im currently working on my own shera cosplay, but all the gold pleather fabrics I find are super shiny, and I think something a bit more matte would look better. I really like the one you used, where did you buy it? :D
Very helpful. I’m definitely adding Shera to my cosplay list. What are the measurements for the pattern? Just to get a general idea if I purchase the pack so I can adjust it.
Hi ! I love your cosplay ! I will be trying in the future, I'm new to cosplay but I need a machine... do you have any brand recommendations? Thank you :)
Thank for this great video! Where did you bought the iron vinyl used for the shirt? Is it a local store or we can find it online? Thank you and keep all the good work, xoxo
Because the cape pattern is not mine. Its part of a book and I can't just resell their patterns and the boot patterns will not fit every shoe. :) But thats why we show how to make these in the video
Wait. So if this fabric is similar to neoprene then how are you not dying of heat stroke in that cosplay? Or is it much more breathable than actual neoprene? Cause I took some scuba diving classes and if neoprene does one thing well it's trapping your body heat to the point where you're already wet from sweat by the time you make it into the water...
Hey can you maybe do a ddlc cosplay? Preferably monika 😅 I haven't seen that many cosplays for Monika and I think you would rock it!!! (Also i suck at making skirts and I'm starting from scratch so i need some help with that)
Ive been looking at videos like these because ive been wanting to get into cosplay for a while now (im already a fursuit maker, but the process there is so different) i didnt know iron on vinyl existed. That's gonna make my Makoto Naegi cosplay much easier.
Ya'll could play a drinking game with this everytime I say "nice and neat" XD
Kinpatsu Cosplay I had the same thought haha xD great work! ^^
To be fair, it's really nice and neat
When i read this comment i had the video playing and then it goes "nice and neat" coinsdence i think not

I may use the part about the shoulder pads for my Male white diamond cosplay
What is the name of the gold stamping material?
AMAZING! wanna do it too... only concern.. how do I wash it lol xD
Everything else can go in the machine but the shirt needs to be washed by hand because of the foam pieces :)
What vinyl did you use? The one i got is kinda to creamy i think

What kind of fabric material(s) did you use?

How mamy fabric do i need to make this costume?
How many yards did you use of the white fabric? And where can I get Cybercom gems?
Very helpful. I’m definitely adding Shera to my cosplay list. What are the measurements for the pattern? Just to get a general idea if I purchase the pack so I can adjust it.
So the patterns I've got are for 94cm bust : 72cm waist :
97cm hips : 173cm tall :)
Kinpatsu Cosplay thank you very much
Will you make the new version too?
Looks good
How do I alter the size of the pattern you made to fit my body type?
how is the name of the gold cloth?
Ein tolles Video 😊❤ , die bügelfolie wo bekommt man so was her? Das wäre echt super lieb ❤
June Cosplay gibt auf eBay einen Händler namens tiptopcarbon. Der hat eine schöne goldene ☺️

Oh God, I was looking for years a material like the gold vynil for my costumes, that's amazing, thank you soooo much ❤️
Where you buy it?
awesome video! saw you in Basel, was really nice ^^
Can I buy ?
How many fabric do i need to make it?

I bought it locally from JG electronics but you can also buy it on Amazon :)
How many yards of each fabric did you need?
Hello there! Just wondering, is pleather same as pu leather or faux leather? Thank you!
Yes those are the same! :3
What kind of Gems were those that you painted?
13:05 is where she explaines, hope it helps =)
Qual é o papel que usa nos 6:27? Tem pra vender no Brasil?
So you dont sew the half skirt to the shirt or the shorts? You just safety pin it?
You can sew the skirt to either the top or the pants if you want to! :3 it's actually a bit easier to have it all as one piece instead of 2 pieces
Could you make this without a sewing machine or do you kinda need one
Why are the boots and cape patterns not in the pattern set?
Because the cape pattern is not mine. Its part of a book and I can't just resell their patterns and the boot patterns will not fit every shoe. :) But thats why we show how to make these in the video
@@KinpatsuCosplay thanks for the reply!!
can you raise the she-ra sword and say the she-ra transformation on video??
Wow.
hey do you know where I can buy the gold stretch pleather online? I'm really struggling to find it
Look at ebay
Search for stretch fabric gold
What kind of material did you use for the gold?
Looks so cool! But I highly doubt I can make clothes from scratch lol
How are you doing now?
