Industrial Rim mod sure is inspired by Factorio.
Agreed, and a horrible timeconsumer that is ;) Just got it friday and spent some 16 playing it after that :) It would be nice if some of that was introduced to Rimworld :)
Oh yeah! I like the way this is moving, especially with that industrial mod making for a more complex, gritty looking system.

So this looks exactly the same as Prison Architect graphics wise. Great for me I love the style and the game looks interesting.
Those are some tough-as-hell tribals. They're taking a dozen hits from those guns before they go down.
Wow. I both love and had new versions. Love the changes, hate that I now know I will need to find time to play it again until I need sleep.
I really like the update. I'm not sure if others feel this way, but the music makes such a *huge* difference to the feel of the game.

I bet the muffalo's are eating the shrooms on the map and Tynan built in some effect that triggers their psychotic rage after 30 to 45 minutes ;)
When I check the amount of time I've played this compared to these multi-millional pound / dollar games that are out there there is no comparison. They lose on every level! :D
I love the whole old school ethos in the run of games of late of getting the gamer back to basics and letting them lose with their imagination. I'm a fan of Prison Architect too but Rimworld has full of fighting / wars going on! :D

It's be cool if these visitors could choose to join your base. I always felt wrong arresting them, I wanted to invite them.
Anyway love the whole look of this, I wish I had more time to play.

Is it just me or do the characters take more shots to be disabled?

Actually stones don't do that much damage, especially not if considered like dps. What kills is the overwhelming rush attack that they can make.
Is this game coming to Steam? Saw this a few months back and I got to say, it's shaping up nicely!

Love the factions! Is there any plans for multiplayer at some point? Would be so awesome to kidnap other players guys and prison them =D
Maybe this has been discussed before, but are there plans on integrating some of the best mods?
I'm considering it. I may also reimplement similar features (in fact, I've intended to do wood for a long time).

I've not played wood mod, but I love the idea or an easier, but weaker renewable resource.
if you want to destroy the corpses you can use the incendiary launcher on the graves
I prefer using nades, cause it works even when it´s raining

So I noticed in this video and while I was playing that the members of other factions have all the same hair style? Was this intended? Just something I noticed :P
The take hairstyles within certain parameters, yes.
After I posted this I noticed that an enemy faction I met just used Molotov cocktails as weapons, nothing else just Molotov cocktails! Constantly had to move my colonists away from fire and took ages to kill them!
How do you improve relations with these factions?
Give them silver, through comm console I think.

Wow. That's some good looking wood. Very realistic, not sure if I prefer the modern version. This is really interesting, but a lot of the graphics don't seem to fit with the game's graphics, it looks like something from real life.
Yea you guys should make robots or drones first of all because they would be very helpfull for people who dont get to do anything because their colonists keep losing on hard modes like tough cassandera
If you want I can translate everything to Dutch / most of it.

I like this game a great deal and probably have more than 50 hours logged into it currently. However the game just cheats so hard. Believe me I'm not just complaining about the difficulty because I enjoy the challenge and like a hard game. But when a solar flare strikes just as a raiding party of 25+ people decides to attack again and again and again it's more than just coincidence. I don't know if the game specifically has events to take out all of your defenses when raiders land on purpose, or if the chance of events happening in general goes up when there is a raiding party on the map. Again, I really enjoy your game and it has amazing potential but there's a difference between difficulty, RNG, and just plain attempts of the game cheating to kill you off.
You are right. It's a bit light on later-game content so it will just overwhelm you with dudes to compensate. As time goes on the variation of events will improve and this will be less of an issue. Also, endgame.
