Great job Tara. Almond cookies and Walnut cookies are my favorite. I am looking to find out how to make nane kermanshahi....it is also very yummy.....thanks again Tara
My wife and I been trying to make a healthy almond cookies but failed every time until tried your recipe. It's very simple and easy to prep and it's also crunchy but also moist inside. I had to eliminate adding salt alltogether the second time. Well done again.
I hand rolled them into small balls, once placed on cookie sheet, flattened it a bit with hand or wet fork, reduced oven time to 10 minutes. Easy & delicious.
I was looking for easy and quick recipes as this was my first time making something with almond flour. I made these cookies last night and they were absolutely delicious! So easy low carb option when you are craving for quick dessert. I didn’t have rose water so I just made with cardamom and my family finished all the cookies from the baking tray itself. Just a tip: if you want it to look like cookies, press them down and flatten it! Thank you for the recipe! God bless :)
I just made this. ABSOULTELY DELICIOUS!! I was VERY surprised at the flavor of this. So so good. I made half of the batch. I substituted cinnamon for cardmom and dash of corriander and added honey a bit since I didn't have the full amount of maple syrup. so I did 3/4 maple syrup and the rest honey. I am going to make the proper batch from now on and so happy to find a proper cookie that is DELICIOUS that is flour free!! Thank you .. forgot to add. i flattened the cookies so I can get more crunch. and baked them longer so they were more dark.. once they cool down, they become almost crunchy and they crumble in your mouth with so much flavor!! just amazing
I'm not Middle Eastern but love using rose water in desserts and keep a spray bottle of rosewater in my fridge to spritz my face, especially in hot weather. My skin loves it.
Wow these cookies are delicious!!! The outside is crunchy and melts in your mouth and the inside is soft and delicious. Thank you for this recipe so easy to put together. I did omit the Rose water and the other spice you mentioned and just substitute with what I had at home. I used 1 tsp of vanilla and 2 tbsp of orange juice.
I made these without maple syrup cause I'm trying to avoid sugar except a bit of fruit. The first time I used an equal amount of water. The second time I used some olive oil and enough water for the mixture to mush together without cracking. I prefer the second batch, but these are just good either way. They satisfy the texture I've been craving from baked stuff. And they're so simple to make. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment! I was wondering if I should try a sugar free maple syrup. Your comment helped me. Now I know some subs I can try. You never know who your comment will help when you leave one. Have a great day.
''Hi guys, welcome back to my breasts''' ........ BEST chef ever, 10 out of 10, I've watched this several times now and still no idea how to make cookies.
I simply love this recipe, because it is so simple. I substituted Allulose sweetner and coconut sugar for the maple syrup. I flattened the balls to make them more like a cookie. Next time, I am going to use a 1/2 cup of flaxseed meal and 1 1/2 cups of almond flour and a little less cardamom . Thanx for a great recipe !
I am making these at least once a month. They are the best thing ever. I make mine a lil flat. That rose water and cardamom oh man. Thank you chef Tara🙏🙏
Thank you Tara! these cookies look very nice, simple but nice. I too can't have much to eat with regards to pastries, so have been looking for healthier options for me and my young children! thanks again :)
Made these for my gluten intolerant friend and her vegan daughter; they were delicious. I flattened the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper and cut them in squares instead of scooping;, dipped half of each in vegan chocolate and toasted ground almonds. This is my favorite dress so far!
That's almost identical to how I've been making almond cookies but I've never thought to use rose water. I needed a valid excuse to make a batch of cookies! Thanks!
Saw similar recipe on another channel without the Cardamom & rose water and made it. I thought something was missing but didn't think of adding the Cardamom & rose water which i love love love. Oh cant wait to make this. THANK YOU!
I just gave these a go with the rosewater - delicious. I was expecting a little more of cookie similar to Italian amaretti. But I thought they were very good. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Thank you so much for sharing. It easy to follow very well done video and documentation. Thank you for taking your time to share. The cookie came out amazing. It is sweet and healthy. I will definitely share this video.
Oh my gosh! I am on an anti mould diet and I have gluten and dairy sensitivities. When you said that in the beginning I was just pulled in! I am having so much trouble finding recipes and hoping I'll find some on your channel!
Hi Tara, what type of Cardamon did you use for this recipe, the green, black, or white? I have never used it before so I don't know what type to use for the cookies. Thanks in advance if you get this belated question. I just found your channel
Is there a way to have all crispy without the soft center? I will definitely make again. I used half of the maple syrup, almond flour is naturally sweet so I have enough sweetness. I will use almond extract next time. I am from India so I had to have cumin spice in these. Taste really good. Some of our cookies are savory .
Hi....thank you for share this wonderful cookie recipe...I made with just half of the ingredients to taste them first and I regretted 😄 are so good!! I just made some changes...I use almond milk instead of water and I add some pecan nuts in small pieces....I can’t believe they don’t have oil or butter on it
I’m so excited! We have the same restrictions. But add that I can’t have Erythritol or Allulose-in most sweeteners. Now I have a cookie I can make for the cookie exchange! I’m so excited!! Thank you so much. But will this work with maple syrup that sugar free?
I’m curious how the cookie holds up without any fat. Usually cookie recipes have butter or oil to give some flavor and texture. Could you add butter or coconut oil?
Great job Tara. Almond cookies and Walnut cookies are my favorite. I am looking to find out how to make nane kermanshahi....it is also very yummy.....thanks again Tara

HI there, how much water would you say you added to the original recipe? Thank you.

These cookies are awesome. Just made them and it’s sooo easy to make and so delicious. Highly recommended.
Can you put some peanut butter in the almond cookies?
Add a tad more moisture and they will expand. Baking powder needs moisture to activate. Add a bit of water or use 1/2 cup less almond flour.
Why?
Tara, I’ve been following all your recipes and they’re amazing. I wish you would do more.
It was amazing! Swapped the rose water for orange blossom water and it was divine!

That is exactly what I was thinking...to flatten them out but also drizzle them with melted chocolate.
is this cookie soft, moist in the middle? Not sure if mine are done? can you show how cookie looks in the middle after cooking?
I’m going to make these cookies. But the background music was too loud and distracting.
Hey Tara, this is a great recipe for vegans. Thank you
I wish you had broken open a cookie so we could see the texture inside. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
That's almost identical to how I've been making almond cookies but I've never thought to use rose water. I needed a valid excuse to make a batch of cookies! Thanks!

Could you please tell the name of rose water? I can't find it still. Pretty please!

Any thoughts on substituting with a different flour like rice flour or chickpea? Or do we need the flavor that almond flour has? Nice video thanks
