- G'Day Golden Mates, I hope everyone is surviving the hottest-ever Aussie summer, and you're not in the Pilbara getting cooked! Speaking of cooked, come along the journey with me using the Mines Department's application called 'Tengraph' in our search of finding gold targets for the upcoming 2024 season ... We're going to find some Uranium ... But be careful out there, don't pitch your tent on some Yellowcake ... Might be safer to camp on a nest of King Browns! hehehee This is the first instalment of using the Department's software to find somewhere to work, I'll follow this video up during the coming week to show you what I do with what I've found. Oh, and to all my CyberFriends, I've left you a message at the end of this video about my progress with 'The Issue'. OK! I hope that you get Something out of this video, yeah I could show you countless hours of me digging micro-nuggets ... But then I'd not be named Prospecting101 eh ?? Ok OK! @@prospecting101 one final question, are you one of the American brothers who used to feature in Gold Gem and treasure magazine years ago? One picture on a previous video was of them with two big slugs they found in the desert. I still have that magazine along with dozens of others.

Rest up fellow prospector 101, your health is important to us all as well if we want to keep enjoying your Tudors classroom, mate before you go under the knife best you get all those that will be in the theatre to signs a confidentiality agreement as 0nce they Juice you up ,Anaesthetics and they see all that gold running in your blood veins they may give you more and record all your details of your gold finds . So you are detecting gold on a site with a pending lease application? Perhaps that doesn't mean anything in Australia, but here in the USA on our mining claims that would be called theft! Can someone enlighten me how it's different with Australian mining law?
In Western Australia the lease doesn't become LIVE until it is approved by the mines dept and if any objections or counter claims are made. So pending is still ok to detect on. Although a prospector may detect on pending ,many people stay away from small leases that are in the name of a single holder, but those in the name of a company are fair game. In Western Australia we also have a system called a 40E permit that after payment of a fee of about $110 gives you access for up to 3 months on leases that are Exploration leases (mainly large companies listed on the stock market). You can have up to 10 graticular blocks (each around 300 hectares) so 10 blocks is a lot of area. Small prospectors in WA have it pretty good really. The free Tengraph website run by the mines dept is very comprehensive with records going back over a hundred years of data.

G'Day Walter, well Kathy gave you the Enlightened version of a great answer to your query, thanks to you both. Yeah when a well-known area is repegged and the ground is Pending, it's like a circus out there as it is a free-for-all. The only complaint you'll hear is from the farmer as he gets aggravated with the hooligans that cut his road, leave open gates and deposit their trash on his lease. That's right, both the miners and the farmers share the ground, and those chaps are out there in the 45 degree heat, through thick-and-thin ... Thanks for your Comment M8 ...
