Thanks JD! I hope you're enjoying your summer. Are you getting some metal?? Cheers, P101 ...
Thanks for all your help you do a great job teaching from British Columbia Canada
Thanks Josh for your kind words and kudos ... Hope you get some relevant tips from West Oz ... That apply to your beauatiful mountains of BC,C ! Cheers ...
Great work mate 👍
Look forward to the next one 👍
Thank you.
Andy
So happy for a new video from you alway great and information is fantastic
Handy tips, the new ground looks promising. Looking forward to the next instalment, stay safe out there... I personally would have a gun slung over my shoulder or on in the car at least after hearing that story about that couple.
G'Day Cap'nB ... Thank you for the comment Mate. You gave me an idea ... Imagine if you modify your detector so that it could shoot a few bullets hehehee Yea those poor people in Tombstone, the WA gov just upped the reward to 1M$. But honestly, we're lucky that there are no Crazies out bush, nor terrifying animals (good thing snakes aren't on legs ;-) ... The highway is probably the most dangerous aspect of getting Out-There huh ?? Cheers ...
THERE YA ARE!!! I was worried a DINGO might have got ya...lol
This is what I like, the very start of the hunt!
Im all geared up for the first of June. Im heading into the bush @ June 1-2nd. Ill be using the GoldMonster 1000, underwater sniping and panning.
I also have a spot, inspired by Gold Rush Whitewater. Im setting my goal at a whopping 1OUNCE of GOLD...lol
Welcome Back Brother!!!
Thanks Ron for the Welcome, say can you dredge in Canada? Totally banned here in Oz, I dredged in the 80s, was way harder than detecting, so much gear was needed! But great experience diving and working underwater ... We missed the big patch because the 'bedrock wasn't right" according to the books, didn't figure there was clay down there that caught a heap of gold, some Newbies got it, there you go! Sometimes too much info huh??? Cheerio M8 ...
I love your content as it comes from the heart soul.
🙏🏻
Thank you for the very nice Comment, I appreciate your support BnB ;-) Cheerio, P101
Nice, first time I have seen a camel in the wild. Those scratches in Arizona are called desert pin striping. Very interesting search, looks like a very efficient method. Thanks for sharing your ideas and great tips. Great video. I am subbed brother.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Thanks CandS for the Sub, appreciate it Mate. hehehee love that, desert pin striping. I'll have to film the pin strips at the end of the season, do like a 'before and after' to show that they do come out. Cheers ...
Good luck for 2023 Joe, hope its golden ;-)
Great content and information as always . I carry that exact EPIRB with me when i'm out bush , My kids bought it for me , that tells me they really care about their Old man . lol , Cheers Ned . 👍
Hi Ned, how've you been? Hopefully we never have to use our EPIRBS, I think you have to test them annually though? I haven't checked, this is a new one, my other one needed testing, I was always worried I'd do it wrong and get un-needed help hehehee. Got mine off eBay, tried a prospecting shop but after 5 months asked for a refund. Ok! Cheers M8 ...
@@prospecting101 Same here , i've never tested mine either although you are supposed to , i have always been afraid too that i would call for help when not needed . just hope i never have to use it either . I think my kids bought it at BCF . cheers Buddy . 👍
Great videos mate very informative I'm starting to watch them all from the beginning just hoping you could help me with a query about where you obtained the information at 5:43 and what it is called . TIA Cheers
Thanks Blah for your Comment, and Kudos, appreciate them M8. I'm planning on doing an in-depth video on how to do the research that gets you those Secret Maps, but basically it all comes from the WAMEX database, which is the Mines Dept's collection of historic company reports ... Stay tuned, Cheers, P101 ...
@@prospecting101 Thanks for your response👍👍and good one mate looking forward to that info and upcoming videos from you. Cheers
Awesome seeing a camel in the bush, they warn you about them on the highway but never see them. Great to see you back out on the hunt and giving us useful information about staying safe.
I have been in Kalgoorlie for over a week now and just love the country out here, I wish I had time to go for an explore but time to move on and explore as much of this beautiful state as we can. I will imagine I'm right next to you living the dream, bring on the next one. Cheers Dan
Hi Dan, thanks for your super comment M8. Yes, I don't want to hit a camel at high speed. Roos are bad enough, but camels seems so tall they might come over the bonnet and be in your front seat! I hope you have a pleasant trip, suppose you went to the museum in Kal? Cheers ...
Yes and of course the super pit, both fantastic. Did you supply some of the nuggets in the vault 🤣🤣.
Loving the new season, keep them coming. Cheers Dan 🍻
First there was drop bears. Now? Man eating camels.
G'Day Dee ... Sorry I couldn't get those teeth right, looks more like a Doberman on the attack huh? heheheheee
Thanks always love your videos. Been too long mate. Take care
Thanks John for your ongoing support, I really appreciate it Mate. Be good if I could create vids and upload in the bush, but can't distract from the actual hunt! Suppose i could use YT's scheduling feature, like make a heap of vids and get them released on say every Friday night??? Cheers ...
G'day Mr Gold, I only just sent you an email, I should have checked here first. Thank you for sharing part 1 of your expedition👍 Cheers Kev
Thanks Biggest K, I got your parcel, your Marshmallow cuts are spectacular, I'll do a Give-Away soon and share the love with some lucky Subbers ... Cheers Mate ...
I really love the no nonsense way you share your knowledge! Thanks for sharing what you carry and who would have thought spotlight would have prospecting supplies (one modified 😂) I like the sponge idea too, love the frugal tips! Keep it up and I am wishing you lots of yella! I’m out in July at broad arrow and can hardly wait
Glad it was helpful Luke, and thank you for your excellent and well-thought out Comment ... And kudos, of course. All the best Out There, You'll be on a serious gold strike at Broad Arrow! Cheerio, P101 ...
G day mate,,glad you got out to have,, a look,, very green out there,,glad you shared your knowledge about survival in the bush, you are so right about a E pirb it should be law,to carry one,I like your sat phone ,like you said a few dollars to save your life,I sent you letter a while back did you receive it , keep up the great work and success will come brother,, kind regards chalky
G'Day ChalkMaster ... Thank you for your comment Mate, appreciate it as always. And Thank Ye for the TreasureChest that you sent to me! Cheers!! Yea it's very green out there, didn't see any animals except for that camel, in the old days there were sheep for miles, then goats (stinkers that they are!) ... Now some stations are running cattle ... But where I was, all fences kaput, wells broken ... And the 'Consultants" want to spend big bucks to get station managers back on the ground ... To do what? Check the rain gauge I suppose ... OK! Cheerio ...
What Is that beacon function
Hi Ali, thank you for Commenting ... The EPIRB beacon is to alert the authorities that you're in danger an need help, it sends an SOS signal with a GPS position ... Usually a plane will fly over first to let you know you're being saved. Cheers M8 ...
Glad to see you have a safety beacon
🥰🍭
HI Mandy, yes I think it should be mandatory, maybe the gvm't could have some to supply for those less fortunate (well, most pople have expensive detectors so can probaly afford an EPIRB, right), might be cheaper than these long, drawn-out searches, especially those that end poorly. Cheerio, P101 ...
Hope we get to watch you find another big patch.
Hi MHD ... Love your support, don't worry I'm all set up to document any nice finds! Cheers M8 ...
First... Those things bite mate lol. Good to see you upload mate. Thanks for the shout out with the knife I made you I hope it serves you well , remember to give it a wipe with an oily rag use cooking oil as it is high carbon steel it will stain and warm water wash with some dish washing liquid. If you have a leather strop that is the best way to keep it sharp too. I look forward to you finding some big ouncer nuggets mate at least in this weather now you wont get cooked under the sun lol. Stay sharp my friend and stay alert too don't try riding those camels lol....
Beautiful knife
@@kaynefryday1251 Thanks it's either 1075 or 1084 high carbon with merbau scales and stainless pins, I did not make the sheath I ran out of leather so I got the local leather guy to whip it up.
Thanks Hot Rod for continuous support, appreciate it Mate. You know, the best knife I ever had was bought in the market in Bangkok, it took an edge so well, and yea it was a bit rusty if I didn't oil it, but WOW did it cut! These lovely vanadium/ steel knives are so difficult to sharpen, and lose their edge quickly ... Cheerio, P101 ...
Hello mate it’s great to see you
Thank you Kayne for the kind welcome to country ;-)
Very interesting
G'Day Gary ... Thanks for your input M8 ... Yea ... Especially on a frosty desert morning, when I like to lay my chair down on the ground at just the right distance from the fire, for a few minutes to warm it up ... It's x-nice to get into it with that steaming mug ... Cheerio, P101 ...
Good to have you back mate 😊😂👍
TY Ryan, nice to see your Comments, Cheers M8, P101 ...
A extra like 👍 to help your channel
Thanks for the Xtra KF, every lil bit helps. Cheers Mate ...
Cheers Mr P
Good advice 👍
Hoping all is well 🍀
Another great instalment
A good knife is probably the most essential but overlooked item amongst people in the bush these days.
Wheres the gold old timer shows us what you found if ya want the subscribes
Be patient, wait for it. It won’t happen overnight but it will happen.
G'Day Steven, TY for your Comment ... And the tip, I'll try to flash something in every vid, but just lil' bits at the moment. Cheers M8, P101 ...
Always a pleasure. Very informative . Good luck and big find to you this year.
Thanks Rory for your kind support, I appreciate it Mate ;-)
Great to see another video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Thanks ChristM333, I appreciate your Comment, and thanks for watching! Cheers, P101 ...
An Eperb would be fantastic but a Sat Phone for me is to expensive. 😢
Hi Lance6x3 ;-) ... Yes Mate a bit of outlay, I spent like $800 for my sat phone but it's only $15 a month! It's 50 cents per text, actual calls are $2 a minute, but don't do that. Get them to call you. You might get a phone cheaper, like 2nd hand?? Cheers ..
@@prospecting101 thanks for the help, that's great advice.
@@prospecting101 you would think I would have both after I ended up face down in a hole in Menzies and then code Blue in Kalgoorlie Hospital... 🏥😢
Thanks GG looks like you’re back with a vengeance mate. I have a feeling this is going to be a great adventure. Looking forward to the next video. 👍🏻
Thanks again KD for your unwavering support ... And most-excellent attitude. I have hours of vid for you .. More fun coming soonest! Cheerio ...
Those are great items to always have with you especially when you are out there alone. I also bring a small first aid kit, nothing to extensive but enough to patch you up either to finish a day or get you to more help if needed.
Thanks Steve for the tip, I do have a snake bandage on my hip .. Which I'll show in a bit. We have to save ... Ourselves huh? Cheers Mate ;-)
WOOOHOOO HES OUT BUSH 🤩 and if there’s gold you’ll find it. Will be great watching you start to finish on a hunt. Thanks for bringing us along and for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Thanks again 48th for your continuous support, sorry so slow in responding ... And thanks for the kudos Mate! I hope I can get onto Something this season, if not, well we'll enjoy the ride anyway ;-) Cheers, P101 ...
@@prospecting101 no worries on the replies and yes we will definitely enjoy the journey 👍🏼👊🏼
Great job all around fam. Loads of great info. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!
Thanks GS, hope you're out in the fresh air these days chasing our dream? I better swing by your channel and have a peep. Thanks for continued support Mate ...
Jesus I thought we lost you for a minute then. It’s disgraceful you kept everyone waiting this long 😂
Good to see you back Champ and good luck with your season 😎

Thanks FuzzZ for your enthusiasm, it's contagious, just like gold fever. Cheers Matey ...
