Omg that was a bit of work great job where is the gorgeous Glenn 😁
Sure was a bit of work, lots of fun! Don't worry, Glenn will be back next episode :)
Great job done by all, the 6000 is a beast on small gold, they keep you entertained, either digging gold or lots of lead shot. Nice work Ant. Cheers, Pete
Cheers Pete!! It sure is a beast on the small gold. Definitely digging all day :) Thanks buddy!!
Nice day out and some gold , what else can you expect ,cheers
Yeah definitely, fun day out!
G'day Ant, the 6000 sure finds small gold ,thanks for the vid 😊
Hi Max! Yeah, it sure does!!
Good haul of gold there. Just a by the by Ant, because the 14” coil is double D, when running the scoop over it, you won’t get a signal on the right hand side of the coil. That is why you took so long to get that first piece. It only made a sound when you went over the middle of the coil. Well done fellas 😁👍
Thanks very much Andrew!! Ahhh ok noted for next time. Cheers 👍⛏
Happy New Year guys. Off to another good year on the gold fields. Gary & Rosie
Thanks very much Gary & Rosie, sure are!! Cheers
That 6000 is amazing!
It sure is!!

I swing a 6000, and I'm just amazed the gold I find with it. It certainly has it's issues, but overall I love the detector. Great video, thanks for posting
It sure is a great machine!! Good to hear you are enjoying yours as well. Thanks for watching!!
@@victoriangoldhunters it cleans up on the gold here in Alaska! Love the videos
@@MattHemmer good man!! Thanks so much, glad to hear you are watching from all the way over in Alaska!! Good luck out there buddy 😁😁
Good work ..I think that's the quietest 6000 I have heard ...
Cheers Leigh!! Yeah its running a DD coil, makes a difference!!
@@victoriangoldhunters sure does ..that's amazing..
Respect the time and effort you put into these videos! 👍
Thanks so much Maddie! Appreciate that. A lot of work and effort do go into making them :)
6000 is a beast of a machine on the small gold. well done.
It sure is, unbelievable what it can sniff out!
Perserverance Ant….always pays! Cheers Slim
That's the key mate!! Cheers and thanks for watching
Welkom Poland
Dziekuje bardzo!! Witam na nasze kanal :) Pozdrawiamy z AUS
Dziebem dalej 😅
hahaha Dzieki!! Pozdrawiam!
Nice bits. I'd prolly keep some of that quartz, crush it & pan it off. Well done
Cheers buddy! Yeah not a bad idea!
Nice machine.
Cheers Harry, it's my mates, we were just playing with it for a day! But i could get used to the 6000 with a DD coil :)
A Mums work is never done! While two young blokes stand back and watch. And each piece of Gold kept dodging the scoop just to frustrate you. I don't know if I would have the patience to keep chasing it, especially when one ends up being a part of the pick. Good on you Andy, I suppose someone had to be there to keep them in line! And right on the money for the weigh in. Mum knows her Gold! Cheers!
Yeah Andy is an absolute legend!! And she loves going out detecting, she's got the bug just like us :) Cheers Wayne and thanks for watching!!
That first speci was really playing hard to get. 😅
It sure was!!! didn't think we were going to get it out haha
The one thing you guys do wrong is throw your diggings back in the hole. Slide them over your coil! And back fill your hole.
Everyone has their own way of detecting. We often get comments of "you should throw your diggings straight back in the hole". Point is, everyone is different and we always go over the hole and what we've dug out. Nothing gets missed ;)
I run a 6000 and using the 14” coil is hard trying to pinpoint small gold. 😅 But I’m am looking forward to giving the 14” a run in more open areas of WA later this year.
It is EXTREMELY easy to pin point with the 14" coil, use the left side (9 o'clock) of the coil, you can literally pinpoint to within a couple of millimetres of a tiny target using this method, give it a shot. Cheers. 😎
Good luck in WA Belinda!
That's right Paul, like most coils - it just takes practice and getting used to your equipment.
That scoop isn't ideal, especially not for tiddlers . If a speck is sitting on the top of the pile on your scoop , you'll chase it around for yonks . A broader scoop with a flat bottom is the go..
No worries, thanks for the info Steven 👍👍
I gotta ask mate, and sorry to be a jerk, I'm curious about what appears to be a Metal Scoop your using. I rekn it will be all in the settings somewhere to let you do this, but, can you help me understand this please ???? I use a plastic thing but open to ideas and understanding if I can do things differently
It’s plastic…
Painful
But worth it :)
