Oh that would be awesome! I never got to see this! But the boring end of the earth really is boring, sadow hands are way more fun. Imagine that it would be like in noita, (spoilers for noita) having parallel worlds if you wenture far, who knows, those know, it would be amazing
I have never heard of shadow hands destroying your boat, when was it? Also i have seen an old datamined asset that resembles a shadow claw that emerged from ocean's end
I have an idea (the shadow hands tear up your boat but white surrounds you before the hands grab you and you wake up on lunar isle and your hunger goes -100 so starving. sanity will be +4000 so your at full lunacy. And health loses 50 % of what it used to be
I'd love character specific insanity interactions or hazards. Maybe when in low sanity as Wendy, Abigail gets to be shown briefly as her human self. As Maxwell _Ragtime_ may play from time to time in the background. For hazards that affect gameplay, how about tree-like shadow creatures that appear when playing as Wormwood to symbolise his guilt for chopping down trees. As WX78, there could be a Doppelganger enemy as to display their loss of identity (in the animated short, multiple Wx's prototypes are shown). Just throwing some ideas. Sanity being one of the main aspects that separates DST from other survival games, I feel like it's concept really could use much more, and also to give even more personality to it's characters.
Tall bird raising skills. It would be something unique to Warly and fits his character as family is incredibly important to him. You get skills that allow you to equip your tall bird with armor, have it remain loyal to you after reaching adulthood becoming a unique variant similar to domesticated beefalo. Warly would excel with a decently tough ally as he can give any of his foods to it to make it even stronger! Gives Solo Warly’s a fun way to play
My dream update wishlist: - New sounds for swinging brightshade swords and shadow reapers. - Shadow planar effects (right now they just use the lunar effects.) - More interactions with Wagstaff. - Unique music for fighting deadly brightshades, mutated frogs, fused shadelings, and the ink blights. - Music stings for important events (Charlie repairing the gateway, Wagstaff taking the mysterious energy.)
Do people ever tell you that you sound like a happy little guy? You just sound like you're having fun and nothing could go wrong. As for my opinions on the suggestions, I think I would prefer cave walls brought back over cave oceans
No you are the first :D I'll take it as a compliment :) And cave walls were pretty cool! Made the caves feel like, yknow, caves instead of a lightless series of biomes.
I agree that caves need some variety, like more bosses and seasonal changes. On the surface there are many bosses and mobs we have to farm depending on what season they spawn in, in caves there is nothing like that. It would be nice to have some unique mechanics in the caves during other seasons, for example, in winter some cave turfs would be covered in ice(since klei added sliping mechanic it would be nice to see more use of it) and some ice pillars would spawn in the caves preventing earthquakes just to have some bonus in exchange. Imo spring in caves should be dedicated thematically to mushrooms, like there would be some big ponds and puddles forming around the caves and on mushroom biomes some of those puddles would spawn like toadstoolets(like still big but not as big as toadstool frog like mob that would attack players) killing it could give us some mushroom tree seeds to have an a way to replant them. And summer could bring more of lava mechanics to the dst, even in original ds during caves generation we can see like a lava pool, so klei finally bringing it to reality could be nice, and I don't want caves being as bad during summers as main land is during this season, but i want this lava and hot stuff be like optional, to have a choice, they can just use caves as a way to wait summer to pass to go back to their base upstairs or get invested in cave baseing.
I could see it working similar to the flooding mechanic in Shipwrecked but combined with a world object akin to a lure plant. In summer, magma vents could spawn a few days in and start spreading lava within a defined area over time (with them being unable to spawn within a certain distance of base structures). Then there could be a winter version that spreads ice, but is less area restricted. You could destroy both of them with a pickaxe, but doing so has a chance of spawning a new enemy from it. I could see certain survivors being unaffected by the ice/lava; something like Willow being able to walk through lava because fire lady go brrr and Woodie not being able to slip on ice because Canada cold.
Hey hey!! Genious idea coming from this guy right here!!! 11:48 remember here you said that a telepotato to remake the world would be cool? So how's this, i combined the idea from the top commentor with yours and here's what i thought of: when you sail far away, your clock turns to always night and hands of charlie start attacking your boat, shadow fish push you back, only dropping morsels and beard hairs when killed, nothing particularly useful, but for some unknown reason, you persist, you keep sailing through the darkness, spending your boards on the ship and on the fire to not die from charlie, the deeper you go, the more fierce the attacks get, and allas! You finally reach the place they hid from you, it is another world of DST, almost if newly generated, nothing is built there, and you can gather any resources you want. There might be no caves or caves with features cut out to not have multiple celestial champions and ancient fuelweavers, but you get my point, right!? And you can do it for like, forever, the unlocking of new islands. How's the idea? I think it's really cool and i'm enthusiastic about it, sadly, the humans are never perfect, and they are not going to give me what i want. 12:22 this idea DOES account for that! You sail on a boat and live without your friends mocking you! Maybe the less items you have and the less players are on the ship the less hard charlie will go on you? That would be AWESOME! Also i think teleumbrella or whatever it's called should be banned, as well as the lazy deserter. Maybe the telelocator staff is allowed? It's 3 purple jems and you can only set 1 place where to teleport, so i think that's fair game. Also winona may target any wormhole on the same big world chunk as her, not any in the whole constant. Oh my god, i'm so sorry for the rant, i really hope you'll read it all 😭😭i didn't mean to write this much, but i'm too enthusiastic about this idea, it would be really cool of klei implimented that
It has a big problem with it, servers, the game can only really handle 2 servers at a time and even then it struggles. Even if you handled only servers people were on you'd have the issue that the more servers run the less playable the game is. It's a limitation of the engine in the end of the day. But cool idea
Uncompromising mod had a recent update that added so much more extreme weather that you can toggle on to activate only on the second year, it’s so cool and feels like the game needs to do the same thing at least after one of the main final bosses should toggle that on
I’d be down for a cave sea biome. Or a shadow sea beneath the caves. Go deeper to find an eldritch ocean. You could have some really wacky stuff down there too. An island permanently frozen that is colder than winter and a volcanic island hotter than summer. A mud island with “rain” that’s wetter than water.
I’d love for them to implement more character interactions to be honest. I think either the recent adventure of Intermissions they’ve begun to really realize how much of Don’t Starve’s strength comes from its characters and I’d love to see them just get more things to say to each other. And I’d also like the characters that are solo exclusive to be brought over for the same reason.
It would be nice if we could reskin spider dens so they and the spiders looked different. Imagen a factory themed den with the spiders looking like soot covered workers, or a gingerbread den with cookies for spooders.
I believe cave waters were an actual concept when the lunar grotto was added (there is even concept art mentioning river paths). Water pouring down from the ocean above, being the perfect explanation.
I love playing warly in this game, so a food update is just about what I want the most. Also, they've already nerfed meatballs plenty, they're fine. - Can't use ice as a filler anymore. - Can't use triple eggs from Monster meat as a filler anymore. So now, on average, unless you're using rock fruit you're going to get +12.5 hunger for using 4 average ingredients, that's fair enough. For a little more effort honey ham, bacon and eggs, meaty stew exist anyways. Or hell, scotch egg.
Warly insight tree idea, please! I love playing Warly, but you don't get enough from keeping his food selection diverse. Meatballs and Meaty Stew is enough hunger-wise
The cave "void" is actually supposed to be the walls. In fact, when caves were first introduced, they had walls but it didn't jive well with the "2d" theme of the game and often obscured the camera, so the idea was dropped. Nonetheless an underground sea is a cool idea.
toadstool rework, new biomes with bosses related to them (for example a jungle biomes with maybe sme sort of ant queen boss) and more interest in caves
I'm not really a fan of how Insight works currently. Being able to take a maxed out skill tree into a new world doesn't feel right imo. The fact that you gain Insight Points just by surviving a set number of days makes it worse. I think that Insight Points should be something you build up by doing a variety of survival tasks, such as killing monsters, killing bosses, prototyping items, using a non-food healing item on yourself or someone else, reviving yourself or someone else, and doing character specific actions in addition to surviving into another day. Then, if you unlock a certain number of skills in one world, you unlock the option to start with a skill when entering a new world as that survivor. This could be done multiple times so that you can eventually start with 3 skills if you've unlocked the maximum number of skills for that character in a single world.
I would love them to implement a Dungeon Crawl. Where you can test your skills traveling through levels of dungeons monsters and terrain picking up increasingly valuable loot. Also It scaling off the players who join the crawl would be wonderful. They could make the levels in the crawl also have hot/cold/wet effects that you have to work through or even just a flooded level that you have to boat.
These suggestions are perfect, imo. No requests for new bosses or weapons, but rather enrichments to the environment and fun tweaks to the everyday gameplay
I watched this video yesterday and then had a dream last night about playing DST. There was new turf but that had function. It was in some whole new biome that looked like rocky turf but was dark orange and the cracks glowed like there was lava underneath. This ground was safe to walk on, but there were two other types of ground within this biome. One was dark purple wavy ground, that if you stood on it for more than one second in one tile, it would turn orange red (like disturbed lava) and would light you on fire, so you’d need a speed boost or special tool to get across without dying. In the middle of this lava was a volcano that you could enter similar to the one in shipwrecked that had special lava rock in it to make a special walking cane that allowed you to jump, therefore making it possible to traverse the dark purple lava turf without dying. The second type of new functional ground was boardwalk (similar to dock turf from moon quay) but if you stood on it for more than a second without moving in the direction of the planks, the planks would pivot (similar to how a vent register opens and closes) and you’d fall into some special nightmare water underneath. You wouldn’t die but a shadow hand would grab you out and set you back down on land and you’d lose sanity at a RAPID rate for a given time until you “dried off” from the nightmare water. Within this volcano biome was a new boss similar to dragonfly except always enraged and more dragon than fly so it swooped like malbatross. But with the jumping cane you could dodge its attacks by jumping over it when it swooped and it had a plate on its back you could jump on to cause damage to it without taking damage yourself. It was terrifying and great fun of a dream!
1:43 It would be SO cool to have little islands sprinkled around the ocean, it would give great base possibilities, make seaferring more interesting and would give you a way to restock on resources without needing to go back to the mainland. I feel like it would also be cool to add some exclusive resources to these little islands to give players more reasons to explore the ocean other than Lunar Island and Moon Quay. Right now the ocean is just way too shallow (get it?) in content and I think the game would benifit a lot from having little islands like these. 2:31 I think a new biome would be really cool to have! I don't have much to say about this segment of the video because that new biome could be literally anything (also I have never played the Gorge), but I think a new biome with some new resources would be incredible to have, would definitely give some fresh air to the game. 4:12 We NEED this in the game, right now a lot of crock pot dishes are either just plain bad or annoying to get, so most people just eat meatballs and meaty stews for hunger and pierogi or honey ham for healing, it's only during a Warly playthrough that players actually cook different food. I think giving the "bad" or underrated dishes some special buffs would make these so much better and worth it to get, specially when combined with Warly's spices. Maybe different dishes could work better with specific characters, like maybe ratatouille, gave an extra bonus when farming or something, wich would be great for Wormwoods, or maybe dishes made with sea food could give you some wetness resistence, wich would be good if you're playing as WX or if you don't have an eyebrella. This would also make Warly playthroughs more interesting. (also meatballs definitely need a nerf). 5:27 Just like the ocean, caves are very shallow in content and there's not much to do in it, there's a reason why ruins rushing exists, this isn't really that much about cave water but I think caves need an overhaul, most biomes in the caves don't have interesting stuff in it, caves would massively benift from having some new biomes with unique resouces, mobs and little quirks, just like the biomes on the surface, and I think a new biome with giant lakes you need to use boats to get across would be so cool and would expand caves a lot. 7:54 I'm usually against adding big enviromental changes like these, since it would screw up with beginners still learning how the game works, but making it so the weather becomes more extreme and harsh the more years you survive is amazing! It wouldn't really affect beginners that much, since, y'know, you still need to survive a full year until you even see the extreme weather, but at the same time it would give experienced players new challenges that they would have to deal with. Right now it's really easy to just craft two thermal stones and an eyebrella and just completely nullify the season's unique gimmicks, but if the weather gets harsher the more you survive you would actually have to think a bit to not die to the world's changes that happen around you. 9:07 This isn't a change as big as the other ones but I would love to see this in-game. More quotes for when the characters are killing specific mobs, interacting with each other or doing certain actions would be so cool and would give them a lot more personallity (the characters are already filled with personallity but you can never get enough of that). Imagine Wormwood giving an item to WX and then they say something like: "GET OUT OF HERE CREATURE I DO NOT WANT YOUR STUPID JUNK", or someone reviving Wilson with a tell-tale heart and him just going: "I was just conducting a scientific expirement, I had it all under control, I did not need your help to revive". It would genually so fun to see the characters interacting with each other in-game. That's all I really had to say, sorry for writing so much, I originally just wanted to write about the weather part but I got excited, I also apologize for any bad grammar in the comment, I'm not used to writing this much, specially considering English is not my first language (I'm Brazilian). I think something I would like to see in the game is a tool to change turf priority, I really like cobblestone turf, it looks pretty, gives you a speed bonus and is cheap to craft, but the fact it has the lowest priority in the game makes it really bad to use in bases (at least as the main flooring) since it always just looks really bad, I think having some sort of item that you can use to change a certain tile's priority would give a lot of customization options and would make bases a lot prettier.
My concept for a new biome is a desert mesa. One of the main mechanics is flash floods because desert areas are highly susceptible to floods when the rain comes and doesn’t stop. It would be an area where almost no monsters spawn but is generally very hard to survive in. Like freezing cold nights but boiling heat during the day, during winter and spring there would be floods and you would need to get to high ground, the high ground would just be some area only accessible by a ladder or something. Maybe Webber or Wolfgang would be able to climb it naturally.
It was cool to be able to carry even bigger mobs. for example, move a buffalo near your base to always have transport at hand. and generally add more functions for them.
I would _love_ to see variant seasons! Have it randomly pick between replacements for given seasons in a year, to spice things up and keep it from being too predictable.
@@tiqosc1809 im not saying to get rid of the skill tree entirely i think its a good idea but we can all agree some skills are just completely useless regardless of how new you are to the game
We need character voice lines to not stop when you move, if someone could hook me up with a mid that does this I would love it, character voices are all unique and interesting I want to listen to them without standing still
Definitely make that Warly video! He's such a cool concept for a character but he definitely needs more to put him on par with the rest of the survivors.
Craftable path, simply versions of regular turf that have that hatch line texture overlaid on top which give you a speed boost. I love the way cobblestones are visually and functionally identical to cobblestone road, sometimes I like building my base next to cobblestone roads so that I can place down cobblestones and connect my base to the road. You can only do that with cobblestones though, I wish you could place every type of road
rubbing pure brilliance on a plant causes it to force bright shades to land there and pure horror will prevent bright shades ( i recently started lunar rifts and i wanna keep these stupid plants outta my base)
i feel like food effects and extreme weather events would be nice because these recontextualize preexisting things. As someone who doesn't have a lot of play time, and by extent spends vast quantities of my time in what is effectively the early game, i feel like leaning into the fact that don't starve is, to a minor extent, a "rogue-like" by having more curve balls woulds be nice, because at this point it just feels like i'm just waiting to do everything right enough to be able to actually get to "real content" because of how much of it is built under the assumption that you have "dealt" with the basics. I also feel like extending that "Do or die" nature of the early game to more of the content would incentivize actually interacting with stuff like the caves and oceans.
A small idea I have had for a while is to make fossil fragments renewable. This would be done by deconstructing the fuelweaver armor, both giving that feature a use and fixing a major issue in the very late game.
On the topic of skins, there's some character specific items that I think could benefit from skins. Mainly parts of Walter's kit come to mind, since he doesn't have woby/slingshot skins to match his character/hat skins, whereas Wendy gets skins for both Abagail and her flower in order to match her character skin. Also it'd be nice to be able to have multiple slingshots with different skins to distinguish between ammo types :p
I would like more islands and content as well. Your thought on them was well put. I would like Klei to go through some of the items and give them some love. Refuelable chilled amulets, an upgraded life giving without the revive (for more passive healing), and more gem items with different effects. In addition, can malbatross feathers have another use? Its a boss but their feather make a sail and a float. Why not an upgraded raincoat that trades lightning protection for a perk that keeps the suvivor just below overheating? I enjoy your content and look fowards to more videos.
The most pointless feature I think about would be being able to use Tell-Tale Hearts on dead Mandrakes since you can only get new mandrakes that are already dead :p
A lot of these ideas pair well with a thought that had come to mind as a future development of lunar and shadow end game. Environmental tampering! With some costly new crafts, Alter and Them have started transforming the constant with new environments and conditions built around the various gem types. Imagine a new device (or several) powered by pure horror, socketed with a set of gems, which kicks off a badass mooncaller-type sequence that imbues the shadows with new powers. And Wagstaff is working on a similar device, but doesn't realize what horrific powers he'll grant Alter. That would be 12 (or 14) new sets of environmental effects that players can tinker with in end game. They've rebuilt the gateway, bested the inkblights, and tossed three red gems into a horrific crucible. Now fire nettles are bursting from untilled lands, tempered shadelings are marching alongside terrorbeaks, the watchers have new tricks up their sleeves, and heat lightning plagues the surface. Or maybe they've socketed three purple gems into Wagstaff's latest contraption, and Alter's got a new satelite which waxes and wanes on a 7-day cycle. At its peak, clouds blot out the sun and lunacy takes hold over the land. Gestalts are now effecting birchnut trees, and their transformed birchnutters have shiny new powers. Just a couple quick examples, but I think this sort of platform for end-game tinkering could be really rich. What hijinks could ensue when these new powers and transformations collide? Will the Constant survive such unleashed powes? Will the survivors be able to escape if doomsday is on the horizon?
I'd like the old farm plots to be brought back in some way (mostly for decoration). It'd also be cool to switch back to the old crafting UI (Still not a huge fan). There probably should be a difficulty options setting for enemy & boss health (Mostly for solo newbs). Would love a speed boost food (Probably can't be as OP as coffee was in single player). New Playable Characters, new zones like the caves/ruins, increased maximum player limit for servers. A world settings option to see where other players are on the map at all times without the compass or flares or mods.
If they would add more food types, maybe they could change the favorite food system? By that I mean, they could give liked and disliked meals to each character, outside of just a favorite. F.e. liked food could give fresh benefits even if it's stale, while a character wouldn't touch disliked food when it spoiled. For Wickerbottom, I guess she would only eat fresh disliked dish. And for Warly just make food he's not penalized for eating his favorite, while food he's penalized for eating disliked. And I know it kinda complicates things, but is that bad? Farming rework heavily complicated it, but in the end it was a decent update that made farming more interesting. The same could happen to crockpot dishes (and I'm pretty sure most characters would still like or be neutral towards meatballs, so it could possibly even be unfelt).
A Warly skill tree, I'd be willing to see you cook that *Also something that if you've been off the server for a while, like 2 in game years, would remove their inventory and put it back into the world* (I just dont want resources to be gone forever just cause someone never rejoined)
I would love the game to be better optimized more than anything, even on good pcs anytime you reach megabase status your usually forced to chuck the world due to entity lag and its so disappointing since expanding on megabases and experimenting with farms is my favorite activities in dst. Its a shame the base DS is never updated cause this problem is completely non existant in the single player version
Whilst I myself don't have any issues with perfomance, I 1000% agree with you. DST used to be such a lightweight game but slowly overtime it's started becoming more and more resource hungry. It's a shame really! Everyone deserves to play this game in non-slideshow jankmode
I think while these ideas are initially good some have glaring issues. More food for instance has a big issue of adding extra clutter to recipes in the crockpot which would make a lot of issues when cooking, best fix is to add in new cooking stations and balance those around it. So the ideas are good but would require more balance and changes to make them work. As for skins they're fine, spider skins I would do a whole thing for the decoration set webber has so each friendly spider that comes out has a skin. Though I will say problem with that is that it would be hard to tell what spider is what
About new weather: KLEI PLEASE MAKE ALLERGIES FROM HAMLET A REAL THING IN DST. Putting it in spring would be just perfect and fitting too. No cave safety from it, no new shadow/lunar helmet safety. Only food that can help you with it and maybe give one of the survivors immunity to it, Walter could be great (he‘s a boy scout after all) . I‘ve been craving for it so badly that i even considered making my own mod for this cuz there is no online like it
Well there’s a mod that adds almost all of these ideas excellently. It’s uncompromising mode, but yes it makes the game quite brutal as it’s aim is to be, well, uncompromising. However it’s also fully customizable so you can cherry-pick whatever features you like. I cannot sing it’s praises enough and I recommend everyone who loves dst and just kinda want a general expansion to the game to give it a go. It’s brutal but fair
I am suprised that you didnt mention boat farms . What i mean by boat farms is : do you guys remember the old farms they can use that for boat farm but maximum area of it might be 2×2 or 4×2, it would be a great addition to dst boat bases
@@BiddoBamss 4:36 “eueueue but that doesn’t make any sense that not how food works” STFU. You know what doesn’t make any sense? The fact that in a world full of magic and monsters and questionable laws of physics Klei seems to take creative libraries and slap a “it works by magic don’t question it” sticker onto everything EXCEPT the food
About spider skins. I think it would be fun if you could change the skin of spider nest and all the spiders who live in this nest change their appearance
i would like a new ocean boss that spawns its own temporary island of ice like reworked crab king so heres my idea: sea serpent: has a chance to spawns from you picking up things in the ocean with the pinchin winch after day 60-100 (it could have a 10% chance to spawn from it) and it could come in different variants like maybe a ice, poison and nightmare ones (nightmare one could be the toughest one of the 3) and if you think the ocean doesnt need a new boss like you said the cave water could have it
@dalerossouw oops yes 😅 also the island is permanent but temporary in the sense where it grows and shrinks (ice melts), ur idea just reminded me of him but I'm all for more sea bosses
What I want to see in dst three more Pacific, the consul port, is the ability world gen settings to insane or tons. Because we don’t have to on Consol and I want it.
And what about the diving update? Just imagine making and diving suit, and jumping in to the water. Maybe it would be hard to run on PC because its like 3 servers, like normal ground, caves, and underwater, but i would be cool. And maybe it would be nice to have lakes. I mean there are some lakes, but its color is like sea.
Well , as much as i would love for wilson's rework to bring world regeneration into play , i get that griefingpotential is too wast. Edit: buuut thats what i thought about willows being able to light stuff on fire from a distance in a radius , day one , and look where we are now.
Spikey trees are superusefull early game for coal. They give logs sticks and coal when burned and thats my early crockpot game honestly. So they encourage elimination.
I would love to bring back the old ocean "border" with the shadow hands that destroy your boat when you venture too far out.

@Dexter42069 That's what I was referring to. It was a piece of cut content that I believe wouldn't fit the game a lot better

Yeah, I'd like them to return a bit to this single player horror vibe, it would make a great contrast between the shadow stuff and the moon stuff.
I’d love cave waters. Think skitter squids, but they’re depth worms that now like hounds must be made able to swim.
Yes, i would like that too
6:08 WX-78: "WARNING: APPROACHING ECOLOGICAL DEAD ZONE"
THAT WOULD BE COOL, just like in subnautica
"Nerf meatballs"
-Wurt main 2024 (i agree though)
Warly mains eating two meat soup and starve for two day meta
“Screw you”
-Wigfrid main 2024
We need battle cries, the only character that had one was removed (Warbucks) and it was the coolest sound ever
Ooooh, Custom "voice" sounds for combat? I'd love that!!!
O GOLLY, I WANNA HEAR A WARLY SKILLTREE IDEA!!!!
a skill where he'd get higher chance of obtaining the ingredient needed for his dishes is a must if they ever add one
I'm with you, brother
Tall bird raising skills. It would be something unique to Warly and fits his character as family is incredibly important to him. You get skills that allow you to equip your tall bird with armor, have it remain loyal to you after reaching adulthood becoming a unique variant similar to domesticated beefalo. Warly would excel with a decently tough ally as he can give any of his foods to it to make it even stronger! Gives Solo Warly’s a fun way to play
I fully agree
I want some fishing skills/crafts. I also would like to see a spoil armor, like how a hambat spoils but as an armor.
My dream update wishlist:
- New sounds for swinging
brightshade swords and shadow
reapers.
- Shadow planar effects (right now
they just use the lunar effects.)
- More interactions with Wagstaff.
- Unique music for fighting deadly
brightshades, mutated frogs, fused
shadelings, and the ink blights.
- Music stings for important events
(Charlie repairing the gateway,
Wagstaff taking the mysterious
energy.)

I love how most of the suggestions have mod ports of it.
Just goes to show you how wonderful the modding community is!
@@BiddoBamss but hey, quick drop was a originally just a mod that literally in a text file said how they could add it to the game
Uncompromising mod had a recent update that added so much more extreme weather that you can toggle on to activate only on the second year, it’s so cool and feels like the game needs to do the same thing at least after one of the main final bosses should toggle that on
That last one was literally new game plus I'm hooked on that Idea
The deeper food buffs would be the best addition
Sounds like adventure mode on steroids. Perhaps this could be an event, akin to the forge/gorge.
Would love that too
These suggestions are perfect, imo. No requests for new bosses or weapons, but rather enrichments to the environment and fun tweaks to the everyday gameplay
Woodie forms skins have been desired by so many people
I watched this video yesterday and then had a dream last night about playing DST.
I love don't starve together =] Also getting better looking cobble sounds great also more islands would be cool for some safe island bases
Gorge mentioned LETS FUCKING GOOOO
It was cool to be able to carry even bigger mobs. for example, move a buffalo near your base to always have transport at hand. and generally add more functions for them.
I would _love_ to see variant seasons! Have it randomly pick between replacements for given seasons in a year, to spice things up and keep it from being too predictable.
"Hi WX!" "I HATE YOU FIRE WOMAN"
What id like to see: Make certain skills from the skilltrees a part of the base kit
Yeah and add some new stuff
That's just literally a buff
@@tiqosc1809 im not saying to get rid of the skill tree entirely i think its a good idea but we can all agree some skills are just completely useless regardless of how new you are to the game
I really love this kind of videos, some day I would really like to make mods with the hope of making a better game experience for somebody
I really like I lot of these ideas! It would be really cool if Klei implemented them in the future!
I’d love to see an event (like the gorge) where the survivors actually get to escape (praying that my man Warly finally gets to see his mom again 😔✊)
5:00 you just reminded me how very excited i am for the Warly skill tree. I suspect/hope it will be next
rubbing pure brilliance on a plant causes it to force bright shades to land there and pure horror will prevent bright shades ( i recently started lunar rifts and i wanna keep these stupid plants outta my base)
Bro, that is an genius idea, I actually deactivated temporally because they killed ALL of my precious grass geckos
i am absolutely thrilled to see your idea of Warly's skill tree
i feel like food effects and extreme weather events would be nice because these recontextualize preexisting things.
I have an idea, bring coffee back, I dont care how just please bring it back Klei (I need my op speed buffs as WX78)
I would like one of wickerbottom’s last insights to say “finally get some sleep”.
I’d love a warly skill tree
A Warly skill tree, I'd be willing to see you cook that
*Also something that if you've been off the server for a while, like 2 in game years, would remove their inventory and put it back into the world*
(I just dont want resources to be gone forever just cause someone never rejoined)
I wish you where real and not a product of my imagination 😢
Omg, I would die a happy man if I could have a pigeon in my base 😂
Honestly I would love to see them add the other remaining characters from shipwrecked and hamlet into dst. Maybe even add a new character!
I‘ve been craving for it so badly that i even considered making my own mod for this cuz there is no online like it
wormwood is already immune to hay fever in hamlet i believe
@@partypoltergeist totally forgot about this, it‘s a nice thing to have in your arsenal gameplay wise and character fitting too
@@ttaffred agreed!
I hear you about the islands. I would like to see a world setting like Civilization has; continents, continents and islands, islands only.
It’s brutal but fair
want to see the celestial meatballs from the warlys skilltree xd
I am suprised that you didnt mention boat farms . What i mean by boat farms is : do you guys remember the old farms they can use that for boat farm but maximum area of it might be 2×2 or 4×2, it would be a great addition to dst boat bases
Yes! Do let us restore the population of spiky trees and bushes!
GORGE ISLAND GORGE ISLAND
Holy shit, gorge island in caves??
I'm sure that would be reeeeeally easy and simple to add lol
Man I have so many ideas for character skill trees, would love to see your ideas for Warly (I’m obsessed for a jimmy branch on WX’s skill tree)
I am so normal about all the food from The Gorge not being available in the main game
I totally do not need pizza or burger or anything I just need Meatball.
I think it would be fun if you could change the skin of spider nest and all the spiders who live in this nest change their appearance
i would like a new ocean boss that spawns its own temporary island of ice like reworked crab king so heres my idea: sea serpent: has a chance to spawns from you picking up things in the ocean with the pinchin winch after day 60-100 (it could have a 10% chance to spawn from it) and it could come in different variants like maybe a ice, poison and nightmare ones (nightmare one could be the toughest one of the 3) and if you think the ocean doesnt need a new boss like you said the cave water could have it
This actually exists! The boss rockjaw is super similar spawning on a slightly temporary ice platform in the sea and being activated by fishing there!
@@poroze8067 you mean frostjaw? Also it's island is kind of permanent
MORE FOODS AND SPECIAL FOOD BUFFS (AND TURF SKINS) OMG GRAAAAGGH❤
:D Food and Mulch are my two biggest needs in life...
I would love different appearances for abigail, there is a mod for that (abbyskinmod) and it's awesome!
I like to see Wirly having the gorg event cook were
Ditto for the Warly tree! My boy needs something!
The potential for him is HUGE I cannot wait!
I like the idea of more islands, but if stuff like the terrarium can spawn on them id lose my shit
Caves can't have a water for sailing, cause all around you in caves - walls. It's not an abyss or pits
There is a splash effect if you somehow drop something into the caves void
@@chonflis3834 It's just an old effect in game. Just look any animation by Klei with Caves, to understand
@@miksost7011 oh right
And what about the diving update? Just imagine making and diving suit, and jumping in to the water. Maybe it would be hard to run on PC because its like 3 servers, like normal ground, caves, and underwater, but i would be cool. And maybe it would be nice to have lakes. I mean there are some lakes, but its color is like sea.
And maybe just more food recipes, creatures, stuff. More things to do
Blueprint For Food recipes. New player like me have hard time knowing which ingredients to use
They have those
The only thing I'd like to see added is WX-78 skill tree
give us health scaling already, some enemys and bosses are so overtuned compared to others and it just feels like a grind to fight them
"more extreke weather!" NO ABSOLUTELY NOT
I want more stuff from dlc's for example snaptooth from hamlet and swordfish from shipwrecked or even those jellyfishes to make ocean more alive
Absolutely!! More DLC content please :)
I also have a warly skill tree idea so if you wanna hear some ideas shoot
More extreme weather? Uncompromising mode.
I would love the akilltree
i would die to see a warly skill tree
Well , as much as i would love for wilson's rework to bring world regeneration into play , i get that griefingpotential is too wast.
Edit: buuut thats what i thought about willows being able to light stuff on fire from a distance in a radius , day one , and look where we are now.
woodie buff (he doesn't need one but i want him to be top tier)
10:06 this killed me. are u secretly a klei writer

That's it
2:20 ain't that just shipwrecked with extra steps?
lagged every 2 seconds on 144p, would suffer again
BiddoBams Shipwrecked Wurt series teaser?
Spikey trees are superusefull early game for coal. They give logs sticks and coal when burned and thats my early crockpot game honestly.
So they encourage elimination.
I hope they bring back wheeler and hamlet
