I really take advantage of the fact that he can’t lose sanity as easily as the others answer that he can help raise everyone sanity around the fire at night.
I played Walter once and that was basically what I found to love about him. Just the character's personality and unique outlook on the nature of the game was charming and refreshing, and therefore, worth it
You forgot the stereotype of Webber mains trying to solve all problems with spiders (fuelweaver, dragonfly, etc) and then get upset when that isn't possible. No I am not talking about myself shut
Wicker main here. I'm not nostalgic. I would say Wicker is a strong late-game character. Maxwell has his moments, but I’m never in need of anything when I’m playing Wicker. It’s like having creative mode on a public server. Need rain? You have a book for that. Need food? Here, take these two books that can grow crops or this book that can summon free meat from the sky. Need resources like twigs/wood/grass/gold/fish/bone shards or some other things? There’s a book for that too. And if you know some strats, you can basically achieve a no-night game in 2-4 days by speedrunning the archives. Wicker excels at the things she does, so if you meet some required criteria, you’ve basically won. I’d describe Wicker players as either really into farms and having mastered a lot of the game, or someone who picked Wicker because she looked cool but has zero idea what her kit does or requires. There’s no in-between. I either have a perfect teammate or a guy who puts her bookshelf in the corner of the base because he doesn’t know that the bookshelf also works as an alchemy engine, so you can replace it. (Also, on that note, why do they always ask for reeds? Like, my guy, you can make a book, grab some sanity food, and go make yourself three stacks of reeds in two days. Why the hell are you asking your teammates for help?) On the note of a skill tree, I don’t really mind not having one, as Wicker has an endless amount of things to do, so there’s never a time where you’d go, "Yes, I need a skill tree to have an incentive to play Wicker again." I wouldn’t mind having a skill tree, but it’s definitely not necessary. Because I can almost imagine the amount of BS you’d get with that tree - like more uses for books, cheaper crafting, or some nonsense like more things you can grow with that crop book. She’s already strong enough, and I fear that a skill tree would completely break her already struggling balance.
Also, on the note of Wicker: Guys, there are endless amounts of farms you can do in this game. If you search enough or take the time yourself, you can farm almost any resource in the game in endless supplies-sometimes even automatically. Use your creativity, god damn it! You can make volt goat farms, Krampus farms, MacTusk farms, crops, sticks/twigs, fish, gold, all varieties of feathers, almost all bosses, wood, chess pieces (infinite nightmare fuel, hearts, dark swords, and armor), reeds, almost any type of meat, moon shards, flint, stone, and gems farms. This isn’t even all of them, just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Experiment, build, do your research, and you’ll have a lot of fun with this character.
My buddy who i play DST with is a Wilson main, and he’s CRACKED. I have to hold him back because i wanna get a bit more immersed in the game, but he wants to just beat it. He has beaten the game in 10 hours, which may sound like a lot, but is actually a really good run, so yeah.
I'm a Walter main. I picked him up brand new to both ds or dst and my friend told me "He's hard, dont play him" but I did and enjoyed his downsides. I know now that he isnt really good, he's actually bad, but I still love him. My friend says his personality is carrying why he's been my main for so long.
As one of the 3 Walter mains, HI! We like helping out newbies and veteran players alike and exploring. We would rather pick flowers and set traps/hunt birds than fight, and making friends is our favorite things to do! (Even if those pigs and spiders friends would kill us very soon, and our glommer drives us crazy only to die in one hit during a hound rush....the beefalo are nice tho). We like telling stories and going on tangents and have a song for every occasion. We have stacks on stacks of booster shots and marble rounds and have lots and LOTS of food. Preparation is key! In real life, this translates to being anxious and overprepared, but still optimistic. Walter is challenging for many, but not us because we never had it easy to begin with. Making accommodations and plans has saved us time and time again. We are that friend who has a bag with EVERYTHING in it, from tiny scissors to cough drops to pens to uhh, why do i have a firestarter kit and an inflatable boat? It's better to be prepared, that's why! We probably also have several pets irl too, and friends from different countries. (Also I despise figs....fig flavor is fine tho) Fellow Walter mains, where you at?
15:09 you forgot the third type of wortox main: the furry - they just like the character aesthetic and they pretty much play like a starter wilson until they die from a nightmare creature and leave the game
Wilson main, always. Also, that reference when he's dancing to the song made up by Gordon Freeman is top notch. Makes me want to main Wilson more. "I am the very model of a modern Major-General" I can only imagine the entire game of Wilson narrating himself as he tries to survive LMAO
for me I play wormwood because I find normal healing mechanics from food too overpowered, trivialising most of the game. being able to eat any food without losing health is also an interesting mechanic and the speed boost from wormwood's blooming is quite handy too him being allied to plants is also kinda cool but it pretty much only applies to lureplants... the new brightshades having no unique interaction with wormwood is such a missing opportunity from klei generally I play solo and rush the ruins
- Main Willow are dreamers! - Ameslarii is a Willow main - Ameslarii nickname translation/meaning: Dreamer WTF! It's the most accurate definition I've ever seen 😭
"Wormwood isn't as good at farming as people think" His skill tree allowing you to make lureplant farms and a long-lasting portable light source that helps teammates: Am I a joke to you? Anyway, if you can't tell, I'm a Wormwood main and you are absolutely correct about our need to feel useful, I'm not good at fighting but I will absolutely provide an army's feast with the right resources if I never have to touch a weapon ever again.
very fun you used the character attributes to psychoanalyze people, but i wish you took their quotes into account too. would have been great to see you psychoanalyze people by their main's quotes
@@TwighlightLugia as someone whose favorites include wendy and webber... you got me. ...WX too, though with their animated short they fit extremely well too.
I like playing Walter because he offers cool gimmicks and new ways how to deal with different situations. Also he is one with nature - my favourite type of characters as well(Woodie also my number two).
i play as wilson because i think it's cool that he is a scientist and his personality is just chill, he has default stats so it feels more fair to pick him than someone like wolfgang and honestly some of the other characters look... freaky
I think I may be an outlier for wendy mains. I love utilizing the small damage buff from abigail while fighting bosses and having to constantly keep track of her health so she doesn't die during. Also, using an ornery beefalo is very powerful for wendy, as she doesn't get that 25% damage reduction but still benefits from attacking whatever abigail is attacking. This allows for very high dps, especially with a war or nighmare saddle. Make no mistake tho, I was not much better than a noob when I started playing Wendy.
I went from Wilson, to Wickerbottom, to Wormwood, to Wortox as I learned how to play the game better. It started with "I don't understand the other characters' special traits yet, let's go with default" to "DAY 1 SHOVELS AND BACKPACKS
Funnily enough I main a modded character because I just really like his gameplay loop. He's basically a character that grows stronger over time, utilizing an item made from monster jerky to permanently increase his attributes. So while he starts below average, he can become pretty strong when you take the time to invest in him. His name's Zero in the workshop, and I love playing this kitty cat. Also there's a Funtime Foxy character that has, I believe, a 4x modifier to their damage because they're an animatronic, and sometimes when I'm bored I play as them to obliterate random bosses.
I was first drawn to Walter because he’s cute and has a dog, and his playstyle complimented the group I played with. Then I saw Jazzy’s solo boss rush using a Beefalo… my life was forever changed. It’s a hard 20 days of prep, but I cannot begin to describe just how much Walter benefits from good ammunition and an ornery Beefalo. You’ll hit like a truck and literally never run out of sanity. Strongly recommend it!
Wortox main here and spot on if i can say so myself. I just love to help friends learn the game and will pop up at random anytime one of them is in danger or starving with a fresh meal for them. And nothing makes me happier than being the ubber delivery guy of the server (even if i'm constantly starving myslef lol).
Webber being the "summoner build" type of character for me is way more accurate than it had to be My favorite game types are creature collectors, tower defense (preferably with creatures as the towers!), and in games like Terraria i HATE playing any class that isn't the Summoner type. oof. Sucks to hear he's limited by the game though.. (it IS funny though how i learned about him through Cult Of The Lamb though and fell in love with his character just because he had the pettable trait and looked adorable-)
I love these 😂 I’m like a mix of a Woodie, Wigfrid and Wortox and for my first main is “You like to be prepared” when I don’t even own a planer, make a grocery list and VERY often run out of things. That made me laugh so hard.
As a Wormwood main, yeah pretty damn accurate. I enjoy supporting my friends when we play as well as just find them fun overall as a character even solo.
I consider Wicker my 2nd main, my 1st being Webber. I'm atrocious at managing her sanity, but that's not the point here. One of my most memorable plays was diving into a random public server pre-rework and accidentally just acting in-character for Wicker. I was giving pointers, helping organize base plans, and crafting resources for the tier 1 science stuff that they needed. It really felt less like I was _playing_ the character and more like the spirit of Wickerbottom possessed my body for a couple hours. One of my other most memorable moments joining a random public server was picking Wicker and IMMEDIATELY getting kicked. I guess they expected me to be a tentacle griefer?
Heya, occasional walter main here! I like his increased travel storage and being able to run around and explore easily is neat, as it gets tedious not finding stuff early in worlds. Also having to not worry about sanity when teaming with more combat-focused characters is pretty neat.
i don't play the game very often, but whenever i do, i always play walter! he's my favourite character in lore and i think he makes the start of the game a lot easier, having an unbreakable weapon, a hat, and woby, who is both storage place and a rideable mob. i like his campfire story mechanic and that he doesn't lose sanity from most things. but, to be fair, he was my first pick and i never really wanted to try anyone else, since we always start new worlds and always in early game :D
Wow, I feel really called out and... strange about the Wigfried reading. Like it's not wrong and that was more introspection than I think I was ready for when I clicked on what I thought would be 'haha funny memes'.
As Maxwell main I would never say that that Woodie is any less in resource gathering. He got those damn stomps to hammer and destroy structures. Also as Maxwell main all of that is too true. I love when resources are gathered quickly, I rush for a speed beefalo because extra tankiness and quicker travel, I can do so many things off hand after easy gatherings because he relieves stress of needing to be prepared.
as a 3 way main between willow, wigfrid and Wickerbottom (mainly willow and wigfrid these days since wickerbottom doesnt have a skilltree still) you were dead on i love willow because the sense of supernatural abilities are something ive always dreamed of and i love wigfrid because she adds a challange in the form of learning meat based recipes and makes me feel like a tank whenever combat arises :) great video!
As a Wortox main, I think I'm the exact middle point of the two types you described LMAO. I do play support with a team but do so pretty aggressively to still have enough souls to escape/feed on, I like to think of it as a self-sufficient kinda build regarding a full base
I usually play with my two friends - one a Wendy main, other a Wilson main and me a Willow main. It generally goes that Wilson main does the most work, Wendy farms monster meat and chooses the place of the camp, I cause chaos, die randomly and flirt with Abigail
as a Willow main i can confirm what he says is true about the kind of players i've met a fair amount... even tho i mostly feel used since people use me to skip building campfires and they also use me to rush queen bee since i can turn every bee in the area completely useless while the group hits the queen... also i end up having to sacrifice my barnie everytime for making all shadow creatures focus on him instead of my team (also a wotrox main always follows me everytime i go to set the bees on fire)
Wendy main part is quite true, but to bee fair it's not all that bad overall, as you said it's quite a smart thing to do to find easier ways in situations (which I do and trust me when I say it is possible and it just takes patience) I also don't like really playing alone that's true... For the part of Abigail doing everything for me it's as if I had a friend who's helping me with stuff and I'd really love to pay them off for everything they've done to me
i'm a Walter main and i picked him just because of his personality(and because Wobby is the cutest creature of all). I actually never picked a character because he's practical so before Walter came out i used to play as Winona or Wes just because i like the vibe😭😭 It's not hard to play as this character, as long as you prefer strategy over running into the fight, in order not to recieve ANY damage, because the slightest amount of it will ruin your sanity. I usually play alone, but think he's pretty good for the team because his crafts can be useful(the tent roll is easily crafted(WITHOUT ANY SILK🎉🎉)and can be carried around so it's perfect) and he can slightly boost sanity slightly at night(by telling campfire stories), but when it comes to boss fighting he can only be a way to get attention of the boss without getting too close
I've been a warly main for a pretty long time because fishing sounded cool, and he had a skin for it. Ever since that one day it's been a constant struggle between me playing almost literally anyone else because of his downsides, but then coming crawling back because i miss his upsides. I can't escape man 😭
As a Walter main, I play him because I like how “different” you have to play; it gives me a challenge. Also, helping out a group with a campfire story is nice.
i love being main woodie because I can help everything when it is a small group (2-4 people) explore the sea farm resources living logs take a lot of damage
Your completely correct about us Wendy mains. I myself play a modded version of her and I’ve tried to play other characters but come back to her. I’ve been playing for 6 years and still have not stopped maining her.
The part about Wendy main is so true lol, I started as Wendy and stay as Wendy with a bit of branching to Woodie, she just feel so comfortable to play as
I'm a Wortox main. 1000% a support Wortox too. I think it's just habit at this point because I tend to only really play DST with my BF but I'm always shoving food and healing his way. It's my mission to protect him and plus, I basically get a free 2-for-1 on all killable food sources and he doesn't have to question when I go on a psychopathic killing spree. Win win.
You're pretty spot on about Willow mains. When I was a kid, I would often dream about blasting people I don't like with giant lasers. I find Willow in general pretty relatable so her getting a literal Biden Blast was like a wet dream come true.
I tend to go back and forth between Wendy and Willow. I really like helping the ghosts as Wendy and Willow is just insane. I picked them both because their character designs go hard, now I can never try out new characters.
The real reason I main Winona is purely aesthetic. I'm a complete noob so I might as well be playing Wilson if he had access to duct tape. But yes, cheesing sounds about right.
One of the 3 Walter mains clocking in! Personally I main him for exploration, mapping, and collecting! I like to gear up enough to be out in the wild for a few days, have Woby be in big mode, and fill in the map! Then I return with my findings, giving everyone a copy of my map. I'm also very much a hoarder in every game I play, so spawning with my own little Chester and leaving the actual Chester to someone else is nice! I also enjoy murdering birds and bringing the spoils to my friend aka the beloved Warly main. The last and probably silliest reason is I was really excited to play as a character that looked like me, especially because I don't usually see that in things with things like the Don't Starve aesthetic!!
I'm Wigfrid main and idk carnivore restriction is not even big trouble in this game bcs you can catch it everywhere and you spend less resources for planting and harvesting, also Wigfrid is incredibly strong even outside of her skilltree and she doesn't even need to spend pig skins for helmets when she just needs only gold and rocks for helmets (and some wool for commander's helm)
Since i am part Walter Main i have to say this: most walters i've met are like me, super chill, supportive people that often time help out the newbies on the server. We can easily amount a lot of non-monster food items for them to not starve (since most of them would try to eat monster meat without cooking it properly). Also Walter is great for early shadow pieces and to get feathers to help the local wickers and wigs to get them setup. The Slingshot might be kinda slow, but you can still fight with it properly, but the Hambat and proper kiting is ofc prefered. Also often times people can use my Woby if Chester is griefed again, i think Wobys main gimmick is the storage and not the riding, that can be done with beefs (which is also prefered for Waltuh!). But my absolute most played charater is Woodie though, love the mobility and power.
I haven't played don't starve together in a long time and I'm like wyd Willow has fire bending now. The last rework I was around for was the one that gave Willow full fire resistance and made bernie turn big when she goes insane.
I was a Wendy main for SOOO long, until I finally realized she’s awful for most bosses late game, and is really only useful early game for farming mass amounts of items
i'm a walter main!!! honestly the main reason i main him is because i just. absolutely adore the boy. i like to somewhat take on the persona of whoever i'm playing in a game, so i get to be a silly little pinetree pioneer with no survival instincts but a lotta good campfire stories :} plus, i'm bad at combat, so i'm rarely even ALLOWED to be the only fighter anywhere. i also just love his somewhat unique playstyle a lot- i get to go exploring all the time!!! nd then run home bleedin and 90% insane
Walter main here. Even tho his kit isn’t that great, his character backstory and overall kit is really cool. also he does bring a good challenge to an already challenging game, but that’s what makes it fun.
Painfully accurate soul read with the Wendy main stuff. I think I picked her back in like 2018 because I was young and too scared to be alone (and suck at video games, still do) and I've been trapped forever and ever Abigail is my own sister
Mine was very accurate. Wendy main, like finding the easy way of doing stuff (even if finding it is way harder than actually doing the hard path), don't like playing games alone. I did pick her as my first character because she was cute tho, I like cute things.
Wendy was my first main. Back in the Don't Starve days. Then it became Wickerbottom, both for Dont Starve, Shipwrecked, and Dont Starve Together. Eventually though, once Hamlet came around, I fell in love with Wormwood. He's been my main ever since. Though, Im a person that switches up who I play regularly. My main just is my comfort pick as well as my most common pick.
If you want the perfect home support, Warley and Wormwood. Warley shines having a guy whos dedicated to enable him. AndWormwood is the perfect jack of all traits and farming speed guy to do that. Throw a Wickerbottom in there for a faster start and books for all,and you have the backbone trio who enable the entire server with a safe home, food, gear, and all you need. And asking of you only for the exotic stuff to make stuff for you.
Don't see people mention the exclusive hat and chest of maxwell. In a voice coordinated team you can genuinely never ever come back to base and be really useful. you need to go get something from the other side of the map? (idk graveyard stuff, glomer flower or rocks) pick it up, put it in the hat, and tell others to take it from the chest. Boom, instant item teleportation. you need food or a sewing kit as you explore, because you underprepared (or didn't return to the base for last 5 days)? ask your team to put some food in the chest and take it via hat. also i personally don't like going insane, and maxwell can farm fuel without going insane via his shadow traps and rabbits
Literally the first character i picked in dst was wendy, but i snapped and never played wendy again once i was told by my sister in multiplayer that i actually shouldn't have the super awesome tentacle spike because i have my lame ghost and that already does enough damage or whatever, now i get all the tentacle spikes i want!
I'm a Wilson main and I'm proud to be a lawful noob and basic 😂. I mostly play DST to relax after work, not to master my gaming skills. Additionally I really like this character for his personality and I have a huge sentiment for him since I study bioengineery of animals, so probably gonna have pretty similar (if not the same) job. Also love his alchemy skills. Alchemy is cool ❤
Walter main here, I appreciate that you think I'm cool :) I know he's poorly designed in terms of gameplay but I'm determined to get cracked at him cuz he's my silly little guy. now to find the other two so we can collectively hope and pray for his skill tree to do him justice.
I like how you ALMOST went into specifics with Wormwood, because that itself is a thing Wormwood mains do.

Why the hell are you asking your teammates for help?)
On the note of a skill tree, I don’t really mind not having one, as Wicker has an endless amount of things to do, so there’s never a time where you’d go, "Yes, I need a skill tree to have an incentive to play Wicker again." I wouldn’t mind having a skill tree, but it’s definitely not necessary.
11:25 Jumping spiders are not insects they are arachnids. All spiders are arachnids.
@@joeyrony2887 my bad I got a little silly I think
The most Webber main thing to say honestly
We found the Webber main!
"All spiders are arachnids"
(Also I despise figs....fig flavor is fine tho)
Fellow Walter mains, where you at?
As a fellow Walter main, I agree with everything you said. :D
THIS IS SO REAL! I always walked around with a lint roller to school and lent it to everyone who needed it haha
Aaand here we have all three of you guys!
@@firebird1241 HELP LSBXIDNX
15:09 you forgot the third type of wortox main: the furry - they just like the character aesthetic and they pretty much play like a starter wilson until they die from a nightmare creature and leave the game
Real furries main Woodie.
Wilson main, always. Also, that reference when he's dancing to the song made up by Gordon Freeman is top notch. Makes me want to main Wilson more.
"I am the very model of a modern Major-General"
I can only imagine the entire game of Wilson narrating himself as he tries to survive LMAO
You did not have to call me out like that on wormwood
for me I play wormwood because I find normal healing mechanics from food too overpowered, trivialising most of the game. being able to eat any food without losing health is also an interesting mechanic
and the speed boost from wormwood's blooming is quite handy too
him being allied to plants is also kinda cool but it pretty much only applies to lureplants... the new brightshades having no unique interaction with wormwood is such a missing opportunity from klei
generally I play solo and rush the ruins
bro just deconstructed me better then a licensed therapist
this is a weirdly good way to see updated mechanics, haven't played in years but got back into it with maxwell and by jove his stereotype is perfect
"Why else would you play the one survivor with a constant companion?"
Excuse you, my axe wife is LOVELY, thank you very much
- Main Willow are dreamers!
- Ameslarii is a Willow main
- Ameslarii nickname translation/meaning: Dreamer
WTF! It's the most accurate definition I've ever seen 😭
"Wormwood isn't as good at farming as people think"
His skill tree allowing you to make lureplant farms and a long-lasting portable light source that helps teammates: Am I a joke to you?
Anyway, if you can't tell, I'm a Wormwood main and you are absolutely correct about our need to feel useful, I'm not good at fighting but I will absolutely provide an army's feast with the right resources if I never have to touch a weapon ever again.
very fun you used the character attributes to psychoanalyze people, but i wish you took their quotes into account too. would have been great to see you psychoanalyze people by their main's quotes
eh I've never paid much attention to quotes

Webber and Wendy Mains: You Have Childhood Trauma
@@TwighlightLugia as someone whose favorites include wendy and webber... you got me. ...WX too, though with their animated short they fit extremely well too.
My God... I'm a main Maxwell and I switched to Wickerbottom just 15 minutes ago... Stereotypes are earned, I guess.
I like playing Walter because he offers cool gimmicks and new ways how to deal with different situations. Also he is one with nature - my favourite type of characters as well(Woodie also my number two).
4:09 If *_Noob_* doesn't take Wendy the world as we know it is over
Your video was the wake up call I needed: I grew up a wendy main. Now I struggle trying out other characters. Want to give it a shot though
Winona mains are superior, now submit your Stones to the cause.
i play as wilson because i think it's cool that he is a scientist and his personality is just chill, he has default stats so it feels more fair to pick him than someone like wolfgang and honestly some of the other characters look... freaky
Same. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Unless… you get the reference Wilson was dancing to in the video?
Also there's a Funtime Foxy character that has, I believe, a 4x modifier to their damage because they're an animatronic, and sometimes when I'm bored I play as them to obliterate random bosses.
okay but that woodie section read me so well LMAO ... good work
I was first drawn to Walter because he’s cute and has a dog, and his playstyle complimented the group I played with.
I got a friend into the game recently, he hasn't watched a video in his life. First willow noob I ever met, but he really enjoys the character
Webber being the "summoner build" type of character for me is way more accurate than it had to be
My favorite game types are creature collectors, tower defense (preferably with creatures as the towers!), and in games like Terraria i HATE playing any class that isn't the Summoner type.
oof. Sucks to hear he's limited by the game though.. (it IS funny though how i learned about him through Cult Of The Lamb though and fell in love with his character just because he had the pettable trait and looked adorable-)
Wigfird is so amazing for compensating for lag though. Much more forgiving when you physically can't dodge or kite. So that pick could always be that
I love these 😂 I’m like a mix of a Woodie, Wigfrid and Wortox and for my first main is “You like to be prepared” when I don’t even own a planer, make a grocery list and VERY often run out of things.
Also having to not worry about sanity when teaming with more combat-focused characters is pretty neat.
as a warly main... whew i needed that, you arent wrong about it being a needless job its rough out here
i don't play the game very often, but whenever i do, i always play walter! he's my favourite character in lore and i think he makes the start of the game a lot easier, having an unbreakable weapon, a hat, and woby, who is both storage place and a rideable mob. i like his campfire story mechanic and that he doesn't lose sanity from most things. but, to be fair, he was my first pick and i never really wanted to try anyone else, since we always start new worlds and always in early game :D
Winona main here... and you nailed it for me in real life, too. I will finagle anything in real life to cheese my problems. Well done.
It generally goes that Wilson main does the most work, Wendy farms monster meat and chooses the place of the camp, I cause chaos, die randomly and flirt with Abigail
as a Willow main i can confirm what he says is true about the kind of players i've met a fair amount... even tho i mostly feel used since people use me to skip building campfires and they also use me to rush queen bee since i can turn every bee in the area completely useless while the group hits the queen... also i end up having to sacrifice my barnie everytime for making all shadow creatures focus on him instead of my team
(also a wotrox main always follows me everytime i go to set the bees on fire)
letss gooo ! another awesome vid :)
Wendy main part is quite true, but to bee fair it's not all that bad overall, as you said it's quite a smart thing to do to find easier ways in situations (which I do and trust me when I say it is possible and it just takes patience) I also don't like really playing alone that's true... For the part of Abigail doing everything for me it's as if I had a friend who's helping me with stuff and I'd really love to pay them off for everything they've done to me
Currently maining Walter. Ignore his slingshot, be comfortable being crazy, and enjoy a free Chester that can't be destroyed.
I love how he actually comments on each character in this video :)
Haven't played in a long time. I didn't realize willow got turned onto a literal sorceress 💀
i'm a Walter main and i picked him just because of his personality(and because Wobby is the cutest creature of all). I actually never picked a character because he's practical so before Walter came out i used to play as Winona or Wes just because i like the vibe😭😭
It's not hard to play as this character, as long as you prefer strategy over running into the fight, in order not to recieve ANY damage, because the slightest amount of it will ruin your sanity.
Hilariously and creatively informative! I must have a very confused personality...can't decide between Wendy and Webber!
i love being main woodie because I can help everything when it is a small group (2-4 people)
explore the sea
farm resources
living logs
take a lot of damage
Your completely correct about us Wendy mains. I myself play a modded version of her and I’ve tried to play other characters but come back to her. I’ve been playing for 6 years and still have not stopped maining her.
Part of why I mained Wickerbottom for quite a while is very simple....
I could skip a large part of early research, and just jump into the midgame.
The part about Wendy main is so true lol, I started as Wendy and stay as Wendy with a bit of branching to Woodie, she just feel so comfortable to play as
I'm a Walter Main because of his personality more than his playstyle. I just love the positivity and care for all creatures of nature.
I’m a Willow main because she has a lighter, my second is Wendy because she has her sister.
as Wormwood main, i enjoy the feeling of being useful for once in my life
I'm a Wortox main. Win win.
Ha you underestimate my ability to be a Webber main AND have severe arachnophobia
You're pretty spot on about Willow mains. When I was a kid, I would often dream about blasting people I don't like with giant lasers. I find Willow in general pretty relatable so her getting a literal Biden Blast was like a wet dream come true.
As a wormwood, i can confirm i will sacrifice my own fun in a heartbeat for a little bit of feeling useful
I’m a Wes main because I’m filled with joy and whimsy 🥹🎈
I was because of his skin and because I suffer.
I think the WORST thing wx78 can do is the music box and speed circuits🫠
OMG THE WX 78 AUSUSSHS. Is kinda similar but not the 100 accurate.
Also I just like the beep boops
I'm Wigfrid main and idk carnivore restriction is not even big trouble in this game bcs you can catch it everywhere and you spend less resources for planting and harvesting, also Wigfrid is incredibly strong even outside of her skilltree and she doesn't even need to spend pig skins for helmets when she just needs only gold and rocks for helmets (and some wool for commander's helm)
Warly: i am. The kindest man, i am, the guy everyone wants around, i am the guy, wormwood if neaded, i am, the french.
I was a Wendy main for SOOO long, until I finally realized she’s awful for most bosses late game, and is really only useful early game for farming mass amounts of items
i'm a walter main!!! honestly the main reason i main him is because i just. absolutely adore the boy. i like to somewhat take on the persona of whoever i'm playing in a game, so i get to be a silly little pinetree pioneer with no survival instincts but a lotta good campfire stories :}
plus, i'm bad at combat, so i'm rarely even ALLOWED to be the only fighter anywhere. i also just love his somewhat unique playstyle a lot- i get to go exploring all the time!!! nd then run home bleedin and 90% insane
I did pick her as my first character because she was cute tho, I like cute things.
i like how the second halfs are like taken from a horoscope
omg no way, you nailed wx, I came from normal dont starve... holy crap
And asking of you only for the exotic stuff to make stuff for you.
man this video just makes me wanna play wilson seriously transmute actually seems kinda useful awfully tempting ngl
I love that your footage of a good Wolf main is just eating shit in Dfly fight but with good gear
Literally the first character i picked in dst was wendy, but i snapped and never played wendy again once i was told by my sister in multiplayer that i actually shouldn't have the super awesome tentacle spike because i have my lame ghost and that already does enough damage or whatever, now i get all the tentacle spikes i want!
walter main here!! and this video was actually really spot on, if I take my friends as reference lmao
As a Webber main who has only ever played alone, I did not know the power that I held.
How can you say wx mains are selfish with the one with a skirt being right in your server 😭
I mean he did specify two types
Walter main here, I appreciate that you think I'm cool :) I know he's poorly designed in terms of gameplay but I'm determined to get cracked at him cuz he's my silly little guy. now to find the other two so we can collectively hope and pray for his skill tree to do him justice.
As someone who secondaries Warly, though, you have sufficiently called me out.
