And the first time Slash heard Aerosmith he had come over to hook up with a girl, but she put on their record. He got so distracted that he forgot and just sat listening to it over and over 😂😂

I think Locomotive Estranged Dust n bones Bad obsession. Are great examples of their superiority over their peers at the time. They are also lyrically more though prevoking than youd think, while still being relatable and mysterious. Excellent band from start to finish.

I was never a huge GnR fan, but everyone was rocking that Appetite for Destruction record when it hit. I was in like 5th grade, but my best friend was super into hair metal, so I heard most of it. You've already done "Welcome to the Jungle", so I'll recommend "Sweet Child O' Mine" or "November Rain". I was in high school when the latter came out and that joint was huge. The video was the most expensive of its time. It's probably one of their best songs, for the grandeur of the music. Slash's guitar solo near the end of the track never fails to hit my emotions in a way that brings tears to my eyes. Not even hyperbole, for real.

Axl Rose is the lead singer and Slash is the lead guitarist and they were the exactly what you would expect a rock band to be. Saw them a few times back in the late ‘80’s and early ‘90’s and they never disappointed. Axl was notorious for being a diva and starting shows late or ending early- not sure if they broke up over egos, drug abuse, a combination of both or something else. They did recently reunite and toured again- I couldn’t make the show, but I heard they were back in great form. This band truly holds an important place in the evolution of rock music.

Also Slash (the guitarrist) is just as iconic as the band or maybe even more, as he had more success solo than the band had without him after he (and other members) left.
