THIS is one of the main guitarists I learned from. GnR is in the legend club with Zepplin and SLASH is a legendary guitarist, I personally was never inspired by Zepplin but was and still crazy for GnR. And thats coming from a guitarist's angle lol..Page cant match Slash's soulful touch in lead playing.
Love the expos cap. GNR has tons of great tunes you will love. Axel Rose has a legendary voice. The band has been through tons of controversy and personality conflicts over the long years but Axel and Slash (lead guitar) are still considered among the greatest in metal and rock. S-Tier. Great reaction , i hope you check out more GNR, you will love it. Cheers from Canada!
And the billions shift from side to side ... still doing it. These words are so profound. Lyrics on point....age old tactic, divide and conquer. At some point we as humans have to decide get over our pride and unite against the elites.
This actually is not entirely true as far as range goes. Not disputing Axel having the best voice in rock history he probably does I💛it.Out of all the singers I'd of never guessed Mike Patton of Faith no More at having a 6 octave range😱.You have to check out the songs he sings without the band on you tube to see this.I stumbled upon it now I'm a fan.✌
Yes! he is more successful.Yes! GnR are better,in my opinion.I did comment I❤Axels voice.Just a statement really that the singer for Faith no more had a 6octive range. That fact wouldn't probably be common knowledge.Sorry maybe in hindsight I should not have been all up in your comment like that.lol
For me the holy trinity of rock singers is Axl, Patton and Layne Staley. I love Mercury as well but the other three just do it a bit more for me cos their voices are more gritty (Pattons natural voice isn't gritty but he can basically sing any style).
The 'Use Your Illusion' albums were monumentally important to me as a teenager. The rock albums that came out around that time didn't just change my life, they DEFINED it.
When you get the chance check out Steven Tyler and slash performing dream on at Howard sterns birthday bash best quality live version I have heard from Steven Tyler slash normally steals the spotlight but Steven Tyler brought his whole game with that performance
SHOUT OUT FOR "Lenny Kravitz", "The Scorpions", "QUIET RIOT", "ROXETTE", "STEEL PANTHER", "Black Stone Cherry", "Oasis", "Nirvana", "Joan Jett", "Tom Petty", I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!
MR Duff McKegan is Base player, Slash Lead ,guitar. Izzy Stradlen on Rytham guitar. Stephen Adler on Drums. and of course the Legandary Axl Rose Frontman vocals.
Axel was talented, don't get me wrong. In my opinion however, Slash was Guns n Roses! Just look at the emotion he put into songs like this one and November Rain. Those solos send chills up and down my spine
I personally love both but i grew up with GNR and i like there style of hard rock. However with led zeppelin its always nice to have a classic band to listen to on a good day
And yes Guns n Roses is one of the best rock bands ever. Personally I hate Axel Rose, the singer..as a person. He was on tour with Metallica years ago. And James Hatfield, lead singer of Metallica, was burned badly by the pyro show. They asked Axel to keep going to finish the show. And Axel was a drama queen and pitched a fit. Anyways he is legendary of pitching fits and screwing over Slash and members of the GNR. With all that trash talk said..Axel is one hell of a great singer. Always down for GNR
Yes james was hurt badly by pyro, but im kinda tired of the Axl had a hissy fit narrative, that whole show had issues, guns have all stated that the pa system was playing yp that show too and they couldnt heard properly, tried to keep playing dispite this, also they had posponed a fes show befor this because axl had problems with his throat. So not being able too hear himself properly due to the techicall problems, they all said it was the best to finish early so as to not damage axls voice and they couldnt hear what tgey were playing.
@@Luke26945 im not saying Axl didnt have issues but this wasnt a diva fit. As a vocalist being worried about damaging his instrument after comeing back on tour from having problems with his and then not being able to hear himself properly due to tachnicall issues with the sound system is not having a diva fit, but its ok most people just listen to james narrative on the situation and take that as fact lol

And thats coming from a guitarist's angle lol..Page cant match Slash's soulful touch in lead playing.
Vocal-Axl, Guitar-Slash.,Bass-Duff McKagan.. 🤘🏻 🤘🏻 🤘🏻
GnR 🤘🤘 greatest band ever.
🔫 and 🌹 🔥🔥🔥 totally agree with you the greatest band ever!!
Period!!
War is necessary but so is peace and love brother. Y'all stay up! Respect 💯
GnR will always be the best band in the world to me. Zeppelin were great too but I grew up on GnR and Aerosmith etc ✌😆🤘
Genuinely one of the best songs I’ve ever listened to
Love the expos cap.
Axl was listed as the best rock singer by Rolling Stone magazine. He has an octave range larger than any other singer
@@brookehornback1896 Axl’s is also 6. Considering he’s a much more successful musician, I’ll give him the nod lol.
Yes! he is more successful.Yes! GnR are better,in my opinion.I did comment I❤Axels voice.Just a statement really that the singer for Faith no more had a 6octive range. That fact wouldn't probably be common knowledge.Sorry maybe in hindsight I should not have been all up in your comment like that.lol
@@brookehornback1896 true. I’ll have to check them out
For me the holy trinity of rock singers is Axl, Patton and Layne Staley. I love Mercury as well but the other three just do it a bit more for me cos their voices are more gritty (Pattons natural voice isn't gritty but he can basically sing any style).
Estranged, November Rain, Don't Cry, Patience, and many more. GNR has so many good songs.
The 'Use Your Illusion' albums were monumentally important to me as a teenager.
The rock albums that came out around that time didn't just change my life, they DEFINED it.
I remember never hearing their stuff and then I bought "guns n roses appetite for destruction" and became an instant fan, amazing album
When you get the chance check out Steven Tyler and slash performing dream on at Howard sterns birthday bash best quality live version I have heard from Steven Tyler slash normally steals the spotlight but Steven Tyler brought his whole game with that performance
Singer: Axl Rose Guitar: Slash Bass: Duff Mckagen
SHOUT OUT FOR "Lenny Kravitz", "The Scorpions", "QUIET RIOT", "ROXETTE", "STEEL PANTHER", "Black Stone Cherry", "Oasis", "Nirvana", "Joan Jett", "Tom Petty", I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!
"What we got here is failure to comunicate"is from Cool Hand Luke
Civil War and Mary Jane's Last Dance both capture the essence of the bands in their original form and do it in a swan song.
Guns N Roses songs I recommend.
November Rain
Estranged
You Could Be Mine
Coma
Nightrain
Rocket Queen
Paradise City
Don’t Cry
Patience
John Henry Bonham "Bonzo" greatest rock drummer of all time
I’ll take Bill Ward but it’s strictly a preference for me
I'm going to stick with Neil Pert, but that's just my preference. RIP Neil 🥁
Maybe in the 70's but these days there are loads of drummers that are miles ahead of him.
There are tons of great Rock drummers, but Bonzo was the first that really stood out to me.
@@intuitionz1198 I'm not even much of a Rush fan but I would still put Neil in my top 3 drummers for sure.
Your young friend is years ahead of his time! For him to hear this and GET IT! Awesome 💗
I believe that intro is from the movie cool hand Luke
Not the intro. But it was in the movie.
@@sacketttellsackettsmith1639 I was saying the intro to the guns n' roses song came from the movie Cool hand Luke sorry if I was unclear.
@@shawnhenry4100
My bad! I misread your statement.
@@shawnhenry4100
It's a great movie anyway
They are both extremely talented bands. That's all that needs said. You can't compare the two. They are both great.
NO QUARTER live at MSG
Led Zeppelin hands down
MR Duff McKegan is Base player, Slash Lead ,guitar.
However with led zeppelin its always nice to have a classic band to listen to on a good day
Love this song
I was there when it was new...it feeds your soul. We need more music like this!
Led Zepellin and GNR two different bands Jimmy Page was big Slash`s inspirator
Bon Scott & he's been outplayed a million times over.. RIP Bon.. Son, you right, ALL DAY..
*I love your comment. It’s informative, entertaining and just plain COOL! Thank you Melanie. Much Love Mami*
@@teganfreya4645 and Axl was throwing his usual Diva fit that he was known for lol. Lots of factors involved, Axl was one of them.
Yes gnr and metallica toured together in '92. My first concert. Im 44 now. Nothing will ever beat that. Even faith no more killed it
Check out You could be Mine by these guys

FYI... (ONLY ONE SINGER) the low lows and the high highs are both Axl... he overlays his own voice. 5 octave range... 🔥🔥🔥
