    I am keeping the list of ingredients short here to let the flavour of the mussels shine through. If you like it hot, leave the chilli seeds in. If you prefer a non-spicy version, use chopped tomatoes instead of chilis.

    What is the consistency of the mussels after the lengthy cooking time?

      The consistency will be the same as any cooked mussels. But you may shorten the cooking time if you prefer.
