I always wondered why certain hamburgers from fast food areas are so juicy and tender. My best friends daughter, who has worked in that industry for many years told me the secret and I did it. Actually we did it when we worked at assisted-living together. When the hamburgers are cooked they’re put in beef broth. I cook my hamburger flip it pour in bone broth and let it just simmer and it makes the most tender, delicious hamburger patty you’ve ever had

I love the Zoup beef bone broth. It's $5.98 for 32 oz. I get it at Walmart. It's shelf stable, and it's not gelatinous, but I just add some gelatin and collagen peptides to it, and of course some butter and salt, and then mix it with my frother. It's SO good. I have it just about every day, sometimes twice a day.

I'm a fan of Butchers Bone Broths. They can go bad fast once opened which indicates to me the 'freshness'. But nothing beats homemade. I make bone broth from chicken wings in my instant pot and usually every week have two roasted chicken carcasses ready to go for more bone broth. I like the broth more than the chicken itself lol. I do make an Egg Drop soup with it. I thank Your channel and S&BG for all of this deliciousness.

I made some chicken bone broth with a whole chicken in my crock pot, then made chicken flour out of the meat that I strained out. It turned out pretty good, and now I have chicken flour for "breading" nuggies and other things. I'm down to one 8 oz block of frozen broth, so it's about time to do another batch.

Very much enjoyed your review! Wondering if a few pats of butter and some redmonds real salt would bump up the flavor of kettle and fire for travel purposes?? While dentures aren’t for everyone, it was the BEST gift I gave myself! Yes the initial part is brutal, and learning to eat respectfully with dentures is a trial I still am so happy. Most of the time I eat without my teeth so crunchy items are hard but I can “manga” most any food sans dentures. Just thought I’d share. 🖖🏻😘👍🏻🙏🏻

Walmart has a new bone broth in a 32 oz glass jar called Zoup! It has fairly clean ingredients. Only questionable ingredient was Natural flavor. It's pretty good. Ingredients are: Beef Bone Broth, natural flavor, Yeast, and sea salt. I think they have a chicken bone broth too.

    • @barblacy619

See how you react, natural flavor can hide a world of sins. You may be healed enough to tolerate moderate amounts.

Wondering if you can help me on this... I think there are 4 types of fat - the fat that is very tough to chew - the yummy fat you have attached to a steak - the liquid fat that gets solid after it cools from draining off the steak - and the gel like fat that separates from the fat that gets solid above it, after cooling. I think this last fat could be what you use in bone broth? Or is it something else just to discard? I have put bones with some water into a crock pot for a day or so, I know that's bone broth, just don't know if the stuff under the rendered fat or tallow is any good. Please help.

  • @HappilyCarnivore

As to how they make it shelf stable, it's just the canning process. Same way people at home can take fresh meat and can it and that makes it shelf stable for a long time. I wish I liked cooking and had space for storing a bunch of jars because I would love to make some canned meat. But at least I did find a brand of canned meat that's only meat and salt, so I stock up on that.

I'm a weirdo I guess. I don't like homemade bone broth. At least not beef. I've tried several times, with ACV and without, and it always comes out a bit bitter. Now just regular meat broth from cheek meat is delicious and I'll make that from time to time. But I like convenience and don't like cooking, so I keep the Zoup bone broth on hand and mostly drink that.

I am not a fan of ANY commercially prepared "bone broth". NONE of them gel and they ALL have vegetables! NOT carnivore. I only drink MY homemade bone broth. It ALWAYS has massive amounts if collagen (it hard gels) and han NOTHING in it I don't eat. I tried Kettle and Fire and dud not like it's strong veggie. For ME ,it's not clean. I'm not a absolute purist but when I have bones from every meat meal I freeze thrm and thrn make my own bone broth in my pressure cooker. Great flavor, and FREE!
