    Thank you so much for this video. I thought you really had to make it at home in order to get it made the right way because I didn't know if I could trust this shelf stuff, so thanks for doing the research for us. I've tried to make it myself but since I'm new to this I was even doubting if I was making it correctly, and for me it's a pain in the ass, I'd rather just buy it if I can. So thank you again, I'm going to try your top pick!!

    This has been extremely helpful. I was wondering about Pacific because I was using that for a long time, but since it's watery I guess it's diluted and the collagen levels are not high. I make my own out of shanks of all animals and chicken is an excellent source oddly enough. Thanks for the video

    Thanks for providing a breakdown of different options. First video ive found that did that. What dosage would you recommend for someome starting out? Tried a year of vegan and after blood tests it did nothing but make my trygliceride and bloodpressure issues go thru the roof so the wife and I are now trying a completely different option with Keto and I wanted to add bone broth into the option. Probably the Pacific for availability and budget. Is this something like applecider vinegar where a shot or two of it a day is preferable? Or are we talking glasses?

    • @SuperHumanTransformation

    Making free high quality bone broth is so easy......I get beef knuckle & leg shank bones from my local Hispanic food store for free. I also save all the joints from any other bone-in meat I consume. They all go into a pot with salt, pepper, Thyme, and a few table spoons of apple cider vinegar. Simmer on low for 2 days.....I can’t justify buying it at a very high cost, when it’s so easy and cheep to make.

    Heyyyy! I just bought the bonafide beef bone broth! It doesn’t look like gel and it’s been in the fridge for a few days! Is there more gel in the chicken or is there a specific temperature it starts the gelatinize??

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  4 роки тому

      I would just trust that it has the nutrients we want and need! gelatinization isn't an indicator of "good" or "bad" stock. its' really just an indication of the concentration of collagen. but there's so much more in stock than collagen.

    I know that sodium is a problem when it comes to health, my question is. Are these high in sodium and if they are do the benefits of the bone broth counter the sodium intake if I were to do a bone broth fast for 3-5 days

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  3 роки тому +1

      so there's 2 things here. first, most of these options have a low or no sodium option. I love the Pacific brand because it's inexpensive and still good quality, and they have a no sodium bone stock. the 2nd point is, if you are consuming real food (vs processed food), sodium isn't an issue! sodium in the context of eating junk isn't helpful, but it's more the junk than the sodium. but if you're eating a real food diet, which real food is naturally very low in sodium, having sodium isn't a bad thing at all - it's very beneficial!

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  4 роки тому +1

      it's impossible to measure! except by gelatenousness! but you could have a lot of collagen, but the stock is diluted you wouldn't notice.
      the benefit of bone stock is not the collagen per se, it's the totality of the bone stock!
      we recommend supplementing with collagen in addition to bone stock most days.

      YES! during longer fasts (48hrs or more) we recommend a cup of stock in the morning and a cup in the evening!

    Had no idea an instant beef broth existed until I watched a cooking video on YT. Had to look that shit up and ended up here
    What looks like a carton of milk contains salted liquid with animal flavor. Mind blowing for someone from Asia

    Is lonolife powder bone broth ok??

    • @SuperHumanTransformation
      @SuperHumanTransformation  3 роки тому

      honestly not a fan of powdered broth in place of the real deal! I'm all for collagen supplementation, but bone stock has a totality that can't be replicated! and powder I feel intuitively that it loses something!

      are you talking about reheating store bought? I wouldn't boil it, I would just put it in a saucepan till it gets hot enough to your liking! is that what you are asking?

      I would heat it in a saucepan, add a little salt and pepper, and then pour it into a mug.

    College inn none broth is the only store bought broth I know of that actually gels in the fridge, and it's cheeper and better than the overpriced kettle and fire crap

      are the store-bought ones you mean? I think it's always better to make your own everything because you control it and you put your TLC into it! BUT many of us don't have time! so these are great options!
