Marco there's more technical ways of escaping that do not require crushing your opponents face with your knee. Sure it works! It's just not as technical. Can you imagine training with someone in the gym that escape this way?
Escobar it wasn't training but competition. The guy could have gotten the pass easily if he hadn't spent few extra seconds being lax about it. Props to Chad for being persistent with that hand control and executing the armbar beautifully.
You really are "the beast"! He seemed disrespectful all the time by looking away. You gave it to him right at the end. It is so satisfying seeing the big muscular guy beaten by such a skinny dude - showing that technique is what's important.
That guy was a freakin robot. He wasn't doing anything to break the guard until the end. I like how you kept a grip on his tricep to keep him from pulling out to pass the guard. Great awareness.
That guy's knee to your face was a dirty tactic.... glad to see you took his arm home with you.
I think it's perfectly valid, he's desperately trying to escape the triangle, it's like pressing your forearm bone against his neck

that's some dick ass move haha
ckosasih Its not dirty
"leave your ego at the door"...but Im sure glad that dbag got served (especially after knee on face)
Oreo Carlton Agreed. I noticed that the second time watching it. Knee in the throat... what a dick.
Knee on the face is the best move that guy did. He just didn't keep the pressure down.
so satisfying watching that guy get it in the end haha
Wow really dirty game in the end. Clearly had no idea how to get out of triangle. Nice job tho. Shows the power of jiujitsu
Friggin brutal. Great arm bar. Noticing people leave your matches in pain.
Beautiful brother ! OSS !
This was awesome
Nice job! Way to stay calm under all that pressure at the end.
The "I have no technique" arm lock defense

He was keeping his posture up, not being disrespectful.
Epic man👌🏻

damn... dude put his knee all on his face and shit.
The one NOT on steroids wins! Superior technique...
Damn. Way to fight through that knee ride on his face. Sucks but it's legal.
He hespects the guard, but got greedy at the end.
Yeah serves him right getting his arm tweaked like that. Solid armbar
Blanton does not look like a fun guy to drill with
Armbar! Big man's arm is thicker than Chad's leg )
3:25 dude went out
This kid really is a beast. Who would've known.
He tried to turn your face into puddin there at the end
He didn't seem to be interested in passing guard either. Did he previously get a take down was trying to stall the rest of the match?
Jonathan Walton seemed like it
Yeah I noticed that too. He seemed to be stalling. He also wasn't paying any attention to Chad and kept looking off at something.
Kinda hard to tap using the knee, but hey
Knee in the face is an escape that justifies being less careful with extending the armbar...guy asked for it by using a dirty escape method.
Exactly. Act like a dick and all bets are off.
Why didn't he try to pass him for so long?
He should have tapped much earlier... nice coach Chad
My douchebag radar went off before I read the title
I would have stepped on his head after that
