Marco there's more technical ways of escaping that do not require crushing your opponents face with your knee. Sure it works! It's just not as technical. Can you imagine training with someone in the gym that escape this way?
Escobar it wasn't training but competition. The guy could have gotten the pass easily if he hadn't spent few extra seconds being lax about it. Props to Chad for being persistent with that hand control and executing the armbar beautifully.
