God it's such a delight to just listen to Vayne.
A wonderful combination of great performance, great direction and one hell of a localized script.
"And so house Solidor lives on."
Necessity.
Thank you for this, he has always been one of my favourite villains in the series.
And so House Solidor lives on.
He's grown on me and as a big Sephiroth fan but even I have to admit Vayne is overshadowed by Sephiroth.
Life savior
The angel of salvation could never compete with these lines, schemes and emotion
Vayne is interesting because he's a villain doing the _wrong_ things for the _right_ reasons. He wants to purge the influence of the Occuria so that mortals can write their own destinies, but in doing so he allowed himself to become a brutal autocrat, ultimately becoming like the Occuria by abrogating Rabanastre's independence.
You said it perfectly. He’s such a complex and interesting villain, and he’s my favorite too.
He’s not some evil guy like the previous villains who wants to conquer the world or wants to destroy it nor was he deluded. One of the main interesting aspects about Vayne was that he is SANE. And is extremely strategic and smart manipulating the politics and military of the world, to ensure his ambitions is carried out for the good of mankind; to free them from the Gods. He was determined to achieve his goal, through means of necessity.
Standing up to your brother? Respect.✊😤

“Who are you?” - Vayne. I came to this video looking for this time stamp!!! Wasn’t disappointed 😍
I absolutely despise Vayne. He is so evil and so similar in so many ways to real life despots. The writers did their job well.
