I own several Taurus handguns, I gave not had 1 problem with any of them, I absolutely love my 1911 stainless.

I have one of those. absolutely love it. Negative point is its stainless alloy does rust a little bit. Bit if you get it polished, that problem will go away. For competition purposes, I have mine's ports threaded and closed with stainless screws. So recoil has increased a lot (still fun and can be overcome with training).
Hogue's grips are very popular for the Tracker. However, I would strongly recommend to take a look on Taurus' newer grip for it. It's in their website. Mine came with it in July. It will grip even with wet and oily hands. It grips (slightly) on your closes when you're carrying it. It feels like 200 grit sandpaper on your hands. Much much better than the ones I use (Altamont's wooden grips, for aesthetics only).
Even with all the mods and upgrades, it's still 100 USD cheaper than a 686.
Taurus does use the whole Smith and Wesson machinery in Brazil. The spring you mentioned is easier and cheaper to obtain and almost as durable, according to the gunsmith that services mine.

Thank you . That’s the whole idea behind any of my videos.. there’s some people out here looking to get their first weapon for ccw and they just don’t know who or where to go for honest, un biased, information . And some have never even had their hands on a firearm. It costs me nothing to try to put that info out there… so thank you for noticing..

I’m subscribed to numerous you tubers but I prefer people just like you who are honest and explain things in simple terms. So many people are out there who try and talk like everyone is a gun expert and in most cases they are not.

invest in some snap caps for your revolver for dry firing and good review, awesome design for the price

Nice review… That revolver with the 4 inch barrel actually weighs roughly 35 ounces.

Comfortable setting. I'm listening much easier with a relaxed attentive mind.

Hi, I own the same gun bought in europe, but without the compensation holes on the barrel. I like this gun, fire great, pretty accurate.

You probably have the model 66. It looks very similar but doesn't have the ports. All Trackers have ports.

I feel sorry for anyone who questions you for calling your gun "pistol." You're big enough to just stare em down! After watching you, I think I may get a tracker.

you made an error in your video. It's 8.75" long for the 4" barrel version, not 10.75" that you stated in your video.

Revolvers have been called pistols for nearly two centuries. No need to apologize to the whiny post-modern experts.

Made in America means nothing anymore, had plenty of things made in America including firearms that were junk. That being said that's nothing compared to all the garbage coming from China. Although I like S&W revolvers the prices in 2024 are nuts. Picked up a new Taurus 627 Tracker with a 6.5 inch barrel for $485. Similar size S&W or Ruger was twice that if not more?
