Throw some brown sugar in that glaze, it helps with the caramelization and adds just a touch of sweet on the back side.

@@thembitesI didn't hear you mention anything about breadcrumbs. It shrunk for mine, but my mother still loved it and the glaze is amazing. So thanks!
Stovetop stuffing mix instead of breadcrumbs. Run it thru the food processor to make it fine.
She replaced the breadcrumbs with the extra ketchup

Do you know what temperature the stove should be on and how long it should be in there?
Preheat oven to 375° F. Lightly grease a 9” x 5” loaf pan.
Add French onion dip mix and fried onions to a food processor. Pulse a few times to break up the onions and combine.
In a large bowl, combine onion mixture with the remaining meatloaf ingredients. Mix well to combine. Add the meat mixture to the loaf pan, gently pressing down to create an even shape.
Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. While meatloaf is baking, combine glaze ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
Spread the sauce over the meatloaf and return to the oven to bake, uncovered, for another 15 minutes.
Really not understanding the first part of the video with the the onion chips
They look moist when you added them to the meatloaf but I don’t remember you saying anything about putting anything in there I’m so confused right now because no one else is asking this question so I must be missing something really big (at least as far as meatloaf goes)😊
I blended up the fried onions and french onion soup mix, then added that to the meatloaf

We don't put measurements for things, and cook with our hearts so it's hard to decipher why yours might've come out so salty. We hate to hear that yours didn't turn out well

No breadcrumbs necessary. We blended up French onion soup mix and fried onions that created a kind of crumb. Try not being rude next time Shandra.
