Thanks a lot for sharing. Among all videos available in UA-cam, this one was the most helpful for changing a broken parking sensor of my IS250. It took me three hours--one dismounting and two assembling back. A caution for those who, like me, wants to put the same bumper back. (1) Do not pull out the parking sensor as shown in this video because you will break the external ring-rivet and render the parking sensor useless. You need to unplug its power socket, release the retainer side-wide and pull out the sensor from outside (2) It is extremely hard to put the bumper back to the original position, particularly for those six 10 mm bolts underneath . I think it is a work for two, one holding the bumper and another checking the alignment. I did it all alone, and was able to align only 5 out of six. Wish good luck to DIY people here
thank you for the video. What a hassle I miss the old days when it would be 6 bolts the bumper comes off, also the bumper actually had a purpose of safety not just looks lol, now days you remove the bumper and possibly break some clips so you might as well buy new clips beforehand
Yea, old days where really different, Now days you have to be really careful to actually install and uninstall everything specially in the car community
Are there any clips between where the fender meets the bumper? I can see that there are three tabs but I am not sure if they hook into anything. The bumper was pulled off the car and we are trying to put it back on but not sure of whether there are clips to clip into for those three tabs
when the bumper goes back on does the undertray bolt to the bottom of the bumper tabs or do the tabs go underneath? Hope that makes sense.. thanks. I just replaced my bumper for a new one and wish I took photos first lol..
Any chance you remember the answer to this? Tore up my bumper on the freeway and finally have a replacement 6 months later lol.... Can't remember if the splash shield clips go above the bumper tabs or bellow...

Hey thanks, I have a 2011 ES-350 very similar removal to your video...manly just a matter of knowing where the clips are located...and take your time...piece of cake...🍺's on me 😎
Thanks for the vid. LOOKS easier than I thought. Over the years I think at least half or more my clips have been damaged by mechanics and/or service places who installed new headlights/fog lights... Any suggestion on good clips/generic clips and where to order/buy? Thanks!!!
@@NIABodyKits the bumper cover I purchased was just the plastic. There are a couple of snaps that hold the fog lights that are a little picky to get to release. Then you just fit them to the new bumper and connect the electrical connector. My issue witb all of this as a DIY layman is that they seem to purposely make it a pain to remove so people wont DIY. It'd be great if cars were designed for repair and maintenance ease.
My two screws L&R, the one you unscrewed at 0:55 is wayy too tight even my screwdriver tip broke. How do I deal with that? I've put WD-40 on it as well.
The beauty of Japanese Cars
No Rivettes or Over Excessive quarter panels that are impossible to move.
Love Lexus.
i agree! Lexus is the best!!

no worries brother glad we were able to help
Hi. Have 2010 Lexus rx350
Similar removal of bumper?
Have dent I want to heat and try to pop out. Suggestions on dent?
maybe by heating it up, and using something that can suck it
The 2 Phillips head screws on the top seem to be stuck for me
try using a drill to get them out, might be stuck due to age

Do you have a part number for the splash guard for the Lexus IS250? Trying to source it but unsuccessful. Thank you.
which splash guard would you be referring to?
Wheel well cover maybe?
do you know if a 2011-2013 is 250 front bumper can fit a 2009 is 250?
i believe it can because the body of the car was the same from 2006-2013
@@narrowempress1625 did you do this to your 2009?
very helpful video thank you soo much for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
What about swapping fog lights in old bumper to new? Struggling. lmk
you can use your factory wiring for fog lights, would all depends on how the new bumper foglights are

Nice Video!
Are there some proper options for Aftermarket Splashguards, mine are somehow gone on the Driversside
thank you and sadly we dont produce splash guards for this car
Where can I purchase the legit front bumper part?
sorry we discontinued this product
My two screws L&R, the one you unscrewed at 0:55 is wayy too tight even my screwdriver tip broke. How do I deal with that? I've put WD-40 on it as well.
Try using a socket instead of the Philips.
Hi can I fit the 2008 Lexus IS-F sport bumper into the IS250 as a conversion? If so, Where is the most reliable place to find them?
hey, unfortunately we discontinued this bumper
Just like so :) 👍
yes sir
I wish they (NIA company) would continue to produce the 3is conversion front end kit. It's a bummer that they stop producing it, not sure why.
the mold needs to be resurfaced, we may bring it back in the future
@@NIABodyKits Thank You for your reply. Hopefully it will be soon. Please notify me when you start the new production.
Thank You
Thamks man very helpfull and a good nice film
my pleasure! thank you for watching!
Don’t you have to remove the bumper to change your turn single bulbs on the second gen is 350s? If so this is a helpful vid for that
Great video! Thanks!

Nice video man. I like those rims. What are they?

How about the 2017 lexus ct200h f sport sir?
It's pretty much the same exact process.
lol
Thx
Wats the song??
lol

✌️
Just realized it's an is350 like so
Yes correct.
Took me over an hour to get mine off, what a pain in the ass
these bumpers are pretty hard to get off the first time around
Yeh and you have to do all that just to change the indicator bulb. Crap design
Changing the headlights to the v-lands is also a great upgrade.
