saw this 5 times indoors and out. 200,000 watts of power ( 3 power gen. trucks outside) 128 wireless speakers , 200 ton stage ( 3 set of stages on tour) Greg Philliganes ( Micheal Jackson music director) saw this in 1994 and said they performance is from another planet. Greg is playing on Gilmour's new CD and on Daces last tour.
@@AceofBadeReacts If you do the "Great Gig in the Sky", 3 versions are floating around, the original (studio), sung by 1 person, the other 2 are from the Momentary Lapse of Reason, and the Pulse Live Concert versions, both are very well done, some say they're better than the studio, maybe because 3 women sing the separate segments in the song and you visualize them but remember that the studio version set the pace for a beautiful song reflecting the 3 stages of dying. Have fun.
That intro shows Dave Gilmour doesn't know how to play guitar. He _is_ the guitar. And I think the guitar is him, too. Electric! (Yeah, literally, blah blah blah.)
It's bad enough pausing the song but to do it in order to get some $$$ and then to ask the subs to do the background for you ( you are being paid for it after all) ,I am glad that I was at Earl's Court to see it live.
@@AceofBadeReacts My bad if I picked you up wrong when you said that you needed to learn more about the song and who sung it, so Roger did sing on the album and this was actually Guy's audition piece, David said that he knew that he could play it but could he sing it ( he obviously could) , the video is excellent but doesn't give you everything, the fireworks were dampened down when they were meant to be loud and boomed around the arena in time to the beat and the camera is overwhelmed by the lights at times and they and the lasers were reflected all round as well.
@@kennethcurtis6648 it was a fantastic ending to the concert. I can imagine the whole concert was better live over watching a performance, but if this was half as good as the live performance was I am happy with it. You also mentioned pausing for thr sponsor. To be fair, the original upload had the pause in the exact same spot, it just seemed like the best place to add it in. And I have been going back a couple seconds when I play the song again, so nothing is lost
To be fair, the original reaction video was already cut like that before I added the sponsor. In my defense, I picked what I thought was the best possible time to pause. I also backed the song up a couple of seconds when it starts up again

Hard to believe that was 30 years ago. Seems like yesterday.
30 years goes fast sometimes
I know! Saw Guy Pratt interview with Gilmour the other day and was SHOCKED at how old he looked!
It was mentioned that Pratt had been with David for 38 years! Wild!
@@jonahhex8178 that's a long time

That is just a whole lot of power and Pink Floyd utilized it all to perfection
you might want to watch the back up "DANCERS" do "The Great Gig in the Sky" 😂😂😂
It has been added to the list. I'll be sure to not call them dancers anymore (although they do got the moves)

What are you talking about "ask the subs to do the background for you"?

best band of all times 😎👍🎶🎶
They are fantastic
Whoa the sponsorship break is pretty harsh.

Yep, I immediately unsubbed.
