I used to watch you 10 years ago, Jack, it's absolutely insane how time flies. Bloodborne too has been my favorite game ever since I first played it. It's still my favorite, there's no other game or even souls game that can even come close to capturing what this magnificent, dark, gritty, beautiful, bloody game was able to. The story, the music, the atmosphere, the theme, everything in this game is beautiful. I haven't watched you in recent years because I'm an adult now (it's crazy) but I want to watch this. My humor and yours don't resonate much anymore, but watching this is still an awesome experience due to a mix of nostalgia and it's like seeing an old friend again. 30 million subs doesn't mean all 30 of them will watch the video. No one with that many subs gets that many views. Lots of people on YT have hundreds if not thousands of subs that they haven't looked at for years.

Remaster: don't change Bloodborne's atmosphere and mood, simply unlock the fps and improve the anti-aliasing, as well as remastering the audio and textures. Remake: overhaul the dungeon system (letting players create custom community dungeons would be super cool), add some QoL features (like instant fast travel and consumable auto refills) and improve some of the stinky boss fights (e.g. Laurence and One Reborn). However, this is not something we're absolutely begging for. We're just begging for a PC port, because modders would likely take care of all this.

I can never get tired of Sean talking about the From Software games. You can just hear the passion and love in his voice, and it's really infectious. Personally, I have bloodborne tattooed on my me, as it's one of my favorite games of all time. So it's nice to hear someone else share that similar passion. PLEASE WE NEED A BLOODBORNE REMAKE

@@CutiePieBio I think they are actually referring to the 15% defense reduction your character receives if they don't have a piece of armor equipped in each slot. Even if a headpiece only has 1 defense, it would still be a major boost in overall defense because it would get rid of that 15% debuff. Sean isn't wearing a hat, so he's taking more damage than he would normally.
@@Bowsersoxdude Armor makes very little difference in terms of physical dmg it’s mostly resistance related. So in a normal game it makes no difference whatsoever, the real difference comes in Cursed/Defiled dungeons where it’s a difference between a OHKO or not. Fire resistance with Watchdog, for example.

(Commented on the original upload) So the thing about the Kirkhammer in hammer mode is that it requires you to hit a "sweet spot" (basically the center of the enemy's model) in order to do proper damage, so spacing is everything with it. if you miss you'll do very little damage despite its excellent scaling and AR, it requires a ton of practice to use effectively and imo it's not really worth the time investment to learn unless you specifically want to use it.
So the same deal as Scythes? That's both kinda cool and also not cool. Cool because it adds a skill level to play, not cool because shouldn't every weapon work the same way? And it's a bit of a nerf therefore.

Love knowing you have the Nighthaunt model! it is definitely a complex model but I recommend doing it in seperate pieces (if you havent already) - Also if your airbrush clogs the paint may be a bit too thick or the nozzle is too small, I also use the airbrush cleaner, one small drop in the paint just helps it flow, but thats just me XD

Me too. His first bloodborne play through is why I bought Elden ring and proceeded to play all the other souls games. Also read berserk cus of him as well (not done w it yet tho I’m in the middle of vol 5). Such an amazing and unique genre of high fantasy that he has showcased for us.

I have to say I agree with you on Ludwig’s song. His whole story is so captivating to me, and he became one of my favorite characters in any video game, even though we only see him at his worst. The idea of nobility and honor so horribly twisted by higher powers has always intrigued me. His boss fight music mirrors it so well.
This is why I like watching Sean. He appreciates and enjoys games and it speaks to me on a personal level. The atmosphere, the music, the style and story, just an amazing medium. Don't let yourself get in the way of yourself.

Sean if you've not checked it out you -need- to look up 'An Agony of Effort', its a series on Bloodborne that honestly goes deeper than anything else I've seen. The entire in game world has really strong ties and metaphors to the Victorian medical experience, it adds such a layer of depth to everything and makes it all the more amazing a game knowing how much detail goes into it^^

Remaster: don't change Bloodborne's atmosphere and mood, simply unlock the fps and improve the anti-aliasing, as well as remastering the audio and textures.
Remake: overhaul the dungeon system (letting players create custom community dungeons would be super cool), add some QoL features (like instant fast travel and consumable auto refills) and improve some of the stinky boss fights (e.g. Laurence and One Reborn).
However, this is not something we're absolutely begging for. We're just begging for a PC port, because modders would likely take care of all this.

Armor doesn’t matter much in Bloodborne isn’t mostly fashion, unless it’s a very rare situation where you need more poison or frenzy resistance
@@CutiePieBio I think they are actually referring to the 15% defense reduction your character receives if they don't have a piece of armor equipped in each slot. Even if a headpiece only has 1 defense, it would still be a major boost in overall defense because it would get rid of that 15% debuff. Sean isn't wearing a hat, so he's taking more damage than he would normally.
@@Bowsersoxdude Armor makes very little difference in terms of physical dmg it’s mostly resistance related. So in a normal game it makes no difference whatsoever, the real difference comes in Cursed/Defiled dungeons where it’s a difference between a OHKO or not. Fire resistance with Watchdog, for example.

(Commented on the original upload) So the thing about the Kirkhammer in hammer mode is that it requires you to hit a "sweet spot" (basically the center of the enemy's model) in order to do proper damage, so spacing is everything with it. if you miss you'll do very little damage despite its excellent scaling and AR, it requires a ton of practice to use effectively and imo it's not really worth the time investment to learn unless you specifically want to use it.
And the sword exists so the hammer feels very circumstantial

Love knowing you have the Nighthaunt model! it is definitely a complex model but I recommend doing it in seperate pieces (if you havent already) - Also if your airbrush clogs the paint may be a bit too thick or the nozzle is too small, I also use the airbrush cleaner, one small drop in the paint just helps it flow, but thats just me XD

Me too. His first bloodborne play through is why I bought Elden ring and proceeded to play all the other souls games. Also read berserk cus of him as well (not done w it yet tho I’m in the middle of vol 5). Such an amazing and unique genre of high fantasy that he has showcased for us.

I have to say I agree with you on Ludwig’s song. His whole story is so captivating to me, and he became one of my favorite characters in any video game, even though we only see him at his worst. The idea of nobility and honor so horribly twisted by higher powers has always intrigued me. His boss fight music mirrors it so well.
This is why I like watching Sean. He appreciates and enjoys games and it speaks to me on a personal level. The atmosphere, the music, the style and story, just an amazing medium. Don't let yourself get in the way of yourself.

Sean if you've not checked it out you -need- to look up 'An Agony of Effort', its a series on Bloodborne that honestly goes deeper than anything else I've seen. The entire in game world has really strong ties and metaphors to the Victorian medical experience, it adds such a layer of depth to everything and makes it all the more amazing a game knowing how much detail goes into it^^

I just want to say that nothing brings me more joy than when Jack uploads super long videos because it gets me through SO MUCH WORK!!! I can't seem to get stuff done unless I have something playing in the background so these are an absolute blessing. Plus Jack playing souls games is just *chefs kiss*
I hope this means you're also willing to revisit Elden Ring, specially with the DLC officially announced! I'd love to see Dinklebamp become Bonklebamp or any other fun build you might want to do!
