I've come to the realization that the reason I love series like these (Dark Souls, God of War, Any game with lots of walking around) is I get to listen to Jack talk about the things he's playing and his life and just the deepest thoughts within his mind. I miss listening to Jack talk about how stock sounds effects and things like that. Please do more series like this (Including Dark Souls 2 I love that game)
I remember the first time I fought Gwyn I was stunned by just how melancholic his theme song is. It's literally the collective sadness of a dying world that can't really be saved, only prolonged. FromSoft nailed it
Over time I've realized this is exactly the type of content that I'm happy to consume, not because an infinite scroll is trapping me, but because I heckin want to watch it!
Sean keeps saying that he's probably just explaining Dark Soul things to Dark Soul players, but yes there are a lot too that haven't played nor seen the game, like me. It's also nice to learn about another game from a genre I haven't touched, and you explaining the game just shows how much you love it, it's nice watching someone talk about something they love.
Literally my #1 faveorite genre which is kind of a shame because there aren't many of these type of games. On the bright side, the quality never stoops below Ds2.
@@wingsoficarus1139thing is ds2 isn’t even bad in comparison to other games, simply because of how actually, dare is say, GOOD the dlcs are. I still replay the game just to fight fume knight and sir alonne again sometimes, and the cool thing is you don’t even have to do that since the game has bonfire ascetics which I wish were in the later games.
Jack you forgot to mention the absolutely heartbreaking fact that sif not only recognizes you, but she also recognizes you as the person that SAVED her and she doesn't want to fight you but follows her duty. It makes me cry every time lmao
PLEASE KEEP DOING LONGER CONTENT, I have been watching for over a week and it continues to be entertaining. I would love to see more of this franchise, and older games.
@@topbloke1683 First of all, no one said you had to watch all 6 hours in one sitting. Second, watching someone play a game is the exact same thing as watching professional sports so I am assuming you are against that as well. Third, its fun to see how someone else plays a game like this: the way Jack plays this is probably not the same way I would play. Also, why did you even click on this video if you were just going to shit on it?
Sean, I have to say, I had never even heard of Dark Souls before you posted this. But since you did, I got something new in my heart. I got Dark Souls on my laptop, (no multiplayer), and I love you for introducing this to me. Thank you.
If your laptop can handle it, don't be afraid to try Scholar of the First Sin edition of Dark Souls 2. It can feel a bit punishing losing health as you die, but there is a ring item near the first area you can get if you're a bit daring, lowering the amount of health you lose and the limit on the amount of health you lose
Long form will always be Seans strongest video format. The length ensures that he has to talk about more than what’s immediately going on, I think a lot of people appreciate the various insights into his mind and life.
Pretty sure the weight system isn’t irl accurate tbh. You’re supposed to have “inhuman strength” to wield it. I mean think about it, you seriously think something like Havels set is only 25kg??
@@-Blueness-inhuman strength would only give Havel the physicality to hold his armor up with his legs and arms, he wouldn’t weight enough so that he could move around with the weight shift dragging him downwards, therefore it wouldn’t be too out there that his armor is just made of magic and is as hard as a rock, even though the games description just says it’s straight up a rock, of course though this is fantasy and it doesn’t HAVE to make sense
This is the type of content I enjoy, it’s like watching a live stream without him reading comments and repeating himself. I work a 10 hour shift so this is perfect. Thank you Sean for taking your time to make this.
I’ve grown up watching Jack and I’ve never gotten bored with whatever he plays. I started watching when I was 13 and now I’m 21. Thank you Jack for all you do❤
Same here man , been watching jack since when he was living in the cabin by his parents it’s amazing to see how much he has blossomed and still brings out quality content love the dude heaps ❤
Hi Sean! Longtime viewer here (6-7 years now); I can understand that these videos might seem challenging to put out due to the specific genre of games / entertainment and the length of the video. I'd like you to know that I love these type of videos. I've been a huge FromSoft fan and I really enjoy seeing my favourite UA-camr absolutely demolish these games that I've struggled with. You play these games with so much expertise and love for the franchise that its a joy to see, I really appreciate the effort that you put into these videos! I know I'm not the only viewer who thinks this way and I speak for many when I say: I'd absolutely love to see you play more FromSoft games (Bloodborne again, DS3, Demon Souls etc. KEEP EM COMING)! I cannot thank you enough for what you've done for me over the years so for now, thank you for everything and please keep going : ) Sincerely, a viewer
I hope he reads this comment. As a fellow fromsoft enjoyer I wish he plays bloodborne again, i have watched the bloodborne series over and over 5+ times
You just made me feel really fucking old. I've been watching Jack for well over 10 years now and it's insane to have that put into perspective how long ago that was.
Man I'm really enjoying these super long videos, theyre great to watch while I'm crocheting etc. so i hope there will be way more like this in the future
Man I decided to try DSII SOTFS again recently with a friend. Immediately ran into the rolly polly spike armor build below the dragon in the first area. Full Adaptability build so his i frames were immense. "WHY ARE YOU HERE!?"
i keep coming back to this video (and the other souls vids you've done). it just brings me immeasurable happiness to see you play these. thank you for your hard work on these videos, it is so so appreciated
This heals a part of my soul to have these long series when Jack makes them. No matter what I'm doing I can put it on and feel like I'm hearing a good friend have fun with a game.
5:36:53 I love the theory that he really is actually from Yharnam and got dragged through a portal same as you. A lot of the items by where he's standing are very bloodborne-esk along with his obvious drip
In a perfect world where we get Bloodborne 2, he's a side NPC you can meet with a plot about that. Bonus points if the quest reward is like, Artorias' Sword or something from DS1. But i also recognize FromSoft like their games separated. And i'd just accept a Bloodborne 2, period. ;-;
@@TheFlopped2979 the game did come out first, but the dlc came out i think a little bit before bloodborne, so chester was kind of a little hint to the next game coming out after the release of the dlc (that game being bloodborne)
Thank you so much for doing these playthroughs! Watching your original Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3 runs back in the day is what got me into FromSoft. I've played each Dark Souls and Elden Ring at least five times each! Please keep doing what you love to do, it shows in your videos, and is an absolutely fun journey experiencing the SoulsBorne games with you.
I LOVE DS1 for it's atmosphere and that amazing Metroid-style level design up to Anor Londo but man, combat wise it can be a right clunky mess lol, is it in my top 5? Sure. But honestly after Elden Ring and DS3 I just can't pretend DS1's combat holds up nearly as well anymore.
This was so much fun to watch! I adore when Jack plays his favorite games. His genuine enthusiasm shines through, and when he's having a great time we all have a great time! I don't think I'd play Dark Souls myself, but I love watching Jack play.
Rue is a modern verb that often looks back on the past. Shakespeare made famous the phrase "rue the day," meaning you bitterly regret a moment. For example, you might rue the day you had your first coffee if you become hopelessly addicted to it.
I know you may not see this comment, but when this video popped up on my feed I actually shouted at my screen. I am so beyond happy that you played this for the channel! The first time I ever experienced a game by FromSoft was when you played Bloodborne for the channel & I fell absolutely in love with the franchise. I don’t have the time or money to buy and play these games for myself, so watching playthroughs is really the only way I can experience them currently. And I was really hoping you might go back and play the Souls games for the channel (I understand if you never want to play DS2 though haha). But I just wanted to tell you that your playthroughs opened me up to a new franchise I may never would have known to look into otherwise. Thank you so much! And please, no matter what, please make content that makes you happy because your passion really does shine in your videos and it brings me such joy! Wishing you the best, Jack!
I had the exact same reaction! Havent played any fromsoft games and my first introduction was through Seán. It's beyond fun to watch him play games that he really loves!
My jaw dropped and I literally yelled "oh my god!" and then had to explain to my boyfriend why this was such a big deal to me. I've been going through all the games now (Demon Souls, Dark Souls, DS2, Bloodborne, and I'm almost done with DS3) since I got burnt out on Elden Ring and completely fell in love with FromSoft. I even just got a "Praise the Sun!" Dark Souls keychain I put on my wallet, and I have three different FromSoft posters hanging in my living room and I'm about to get another one of Artorias. So glad there are other people out here freaking out about this video too, lol.
I’m not good at video games, and where fromsoft is notoriously hard, I know I wouldn’t get the same enjoyment playing that I do from watching. So I 100% agree that it’d be amazing if he played all of them for the channel (if he wanted!)
I started my very first playthrough last year. After I got stuck on Ornstein and Smough I put the game on hold. Your video inspired me to go back to the game. And right now, I finally did it. I finished Dark Souls All Bosses + DLC. Thank you for the motivation I needed to do that.
25:36 To rue is to bitterly regret (something one has done or allowed to happen), so "rue the day" means "(deeply) regret the day (something happened)".
Shortcut to spiderlady is for Solair's quest. Normally you would have to kill him at the end of his quest but if you unlock the shortcut, you can SAVE SOLAIR. I was so happy when I found that out.
I have never ever played/experienced any Dark Souls game and this 6+ hour long video was my first exposure to it. I've just known about it being as an incredibly hard game with a dark fantasy/medieval theme to it prior to watching this video. The atmosphere of the game is really beautiful and I love that the regions are so unique and environmentally different from one another. I am guessing there probably is no better introductory video to Dark Souls than this video, and it has made me curious as to looking forward to learn about the lore!
@kozukitonio740 Dosent matter to me. He still has his loyal watchers. that's all that matters. What's the point of trying to get more views if you just end up with burnout and no fun? UA-cam is not that great anymore for certain people, so you can go if you wish. We'll chill here. 😌
as someone who recently turned 20 and as someone who still feels like a child with no direction in their life, hearing you say the thing about being 21 and a child made me feel like everything would be okay and I am so grateful
You have about 4 years of major brain growth left. Take your time learning who you're going to be. I'm almost 34 and still feel like I'm only pretending to be an adult sometimes. Be kind to yourself.
I’m 33 & here to tell you everything will be ok if you take your time & really go w/ your heart, believe in yourself my boy the world is really yours‼️💪🏽💯
I would absolutely love if he did a play through of Sekiro. Whether it’s all in one video or a series. I love how passionate Jack is about these games and it’s made me want to explore them for myself as a result
3:25:59 according to _deepest lore,_ the Pisacas (blue octopus things) were girls kidnapped by Channelers (trident wielding wizards) to be used in experiments, and apparently those two girls were in love 🥺 or just sad, i don't know
I feel like the reason why Dark Soul has that feeling and atmosphere that can't be replicated even in future installment is because of the situation that Hidetaka Miyazaki had so many creative control over this game it was his first project as a fantasy game after Demon Souls and was quite motivated to put his ideas into this game.
5:18 LOTR nerd here. The Eagles were part of a powerful ‘arch angel’s’ domain. The angels forbidden to interfere in any meaningful way, so sent representatives to intervene diplomatically. These were the 5 wizards, of which only Gandalf didn’t go rogue or abandon his mission. Also, Mordor had an airforce. Fellbeasts, bats, birds and in some drafts, small dragons. The Eagles were not able to safely fly into Mordor, where the air is poisoned, the sky black with volcanic soot and the weather a constant thunderstorm. Not without being attacked by the locals and risk losing the Ring.
@@bloobiest Melkor/Morgoth had dragons but I think Tolkien wrote that Sauron wasn’t as capable of controlling them as his master. In earlier drafts I do know there were dragons in Mordor but that Smaug was the only large and intelligent of his kind left, hence why Gandalf pushed for him to be destroyed. In the complete works however it’s stated that Smaug was the only dragon within reach of Sauron’s influence, and that Gandalf helped the dwarves on their quest with the hope of eliminating that possibility. Even then, it’s also stated that Sauron would have needed to strike an alliance with Smaug rather than outright dominate him. The only Dark Lord in Tolkien’s world who held dominion over dragons was Morgoth. He created them after all! Morgoth held absolute dominion over all things evil except Ungoliant. Even after his imprisonment/death his former subjects still worshiped him as a god.
That still doesn’t explain why the eagles couldn’t fly BILBO and the dwarves somewhat closer to the lonely mountain. I understand the threat of Smaug, but at least bring them to the other side of Mirkwood. I’m sure even if they couldn’t fly over it they could’ve gone around it, which they only discounted because of how long it would take on foot.
I read up a bit more on this. Mordor apparently has poisonous air higher up because of the smoke from the volcano. They also have extremely good archers and whatnot so it would be a huge risk to fly over Mordor. @@Carl_with_a_k_

Lore/theories trivia: 1:49:38 There's no canon answer to Sen's identity (Sen is only assumed to be either a person or a unique object, because his name in Japanese - セン/Sen - is written in katakana), but one theory is that Sen is the Nameless King, Gwyn's banished firstborn son. That's because Andre says that "Sen's Fortress is an old proving grounds built by the ancients Gods", and it's known that Gwyn's firstborn was a god of war. Another evidence is the presence of Serpent Men (serpents are imperfect dragons) in both Sen's Fortress and in Archdragon Peak (the location where the Nameless King went after aligning with the dragons). There's also a possible connection between the stacks of unused Silver Knight statues in Sen's Fortress (suggesting the place could have been a royal armory), and the fact Gwyn's firstborn trained Ornstein to be his first knight, who eventually became the leader of the Four Knights of Gwyn and presumably the rest of Gwyn's Silver Knights (suggesting Gwyn's firstborn originally commanded the Silver Knights, and in that position he would have controlled the royal armory). 4:21:26 The theory about the Ash Lake trees is that they are portals to parallel worlds (the known lore comes from the opening cinematic: "In the Age of Ancients, the world was unformed, shrouded by fog. A land of gray crags, archtrees, and everlasting dragons. Then there was fire"). Since Ash Lake seems to be a primordial place ( "the world was unformed"), that suggests the other worlds came from it, and that such connection is embodied by the archtrees (with the area working like a dimensional hub). 4:29:07 The Ancient Dragons ruled the world during the Age of Ancients, before the emergence of humanity or gods. Their stone scales gave them immortality (the Stone Dragon in Ash Lake could be either a descendant of the Ancient Dragons or one of them who survived). They opposed the fire brought by the Lords and lost the war against them (Seath the Scaleless sided with the Lords and revealed the dragons' weakness was lightning, which could peel apart their stone scales), and then began the Age of Fire. 4:58:00 The Four Kings were once humans chosen by Gwyn to rule New Londo (a lower vassal of Anon Londo), granting them a fragment of his Lord Soul (the source of Gwyn's sun and lightning powers, which he used to defeat the Ancient Dragons). When the First Flame began to fade out, New Londo turned into an Undead city. They fell into the Dark after a primordial serpent (Kaathe) offered them the Art of Lifedrain (the power to steal humanity from others, so they could preserve their humanity even as Undead). 5:01:19 The Abyss is a realm of Dark (created from the Dark Soul fragments not held by Humans) that can expand while slowly absorbing everything in its path. It is able to corrupt beings aligned with Fire (including the Gods), but not beings that are aligned or indifferent to it (like Humans). 5:35:25 The Artorias of the Abyss DLC happens in Oolacile, about 200 to 300 years before the events of Dark Souls. Oolacile was indeed slowly being swallowed by the Abyss at that point, and it no longer exists by the events of Dark Souls. 5:37:58 Artorias was one of the four knights of Gwyn, known for his skill with a greatsword (he's an homage to Guts, the protagonist of Berserk) and for his wolf companion Sif. When New Londo feel to the dark, he made a covenant with beasts of the Abyss that allowed him to traverse it, so he could defeat the Darkwraiths from the inside. Artorias tried to save Oolacile from being corrupted, but he and Sif were overrun by creatures of the Abyss. He then decided to sacrifice himself to save Sif, using his greatshield to raise a barrier around the wolf (seen at 5:53:52), but became corrupted after his defeat. 6:15:50 The Kiln of the First Flame is where the Lords first found their Lord Souls (which powers they used to defeat the dragons), and also where Gwyn sacrificed himself to the First Flame (which was fading) to extend the Age of Fire (otherwise, the rule of the gods that gained power from it would have ended, marking the start of the Age of Dark).
Wow. How UA-cam shared the first three paragraphs and then some before "read more" is truly a wonder. Oml. Also, very, very interesting LORE to satiate my LORE HUNGER to vitalize my LORE BODY.
the fact that this is edited and sean is already really fast at the game and yet this video is still 6 hours long amazes me. gotta love dark souls games for how much gameplay they have
There was also a point in undead burg where he was like, "How tf I get these two humanity?" I still barely believe the soft humanity mechanic exists :)
@@sharkgongiveittoya If I remember correctly every enemy has a hidden value they give you when you kill them, i believe the rats have the highest, and when it hits like 100 or something it gives you a charge of humanity.
I love watching stuff like this. I have never played a Dark Souls game or any FromSoftware game. But Berserk is my absolute favorite manga and anime of all time ('97 version not the movies on Netflix). And I love that it is heavily inspired by it as well. Great stuff Sean! We love it.
Hey Jack, just to answer your LOTR question (im a certified nerd btw) the reason why the eagles didnt just go to MT Doom to drop the ring off is literally because of 1 reason, they literally didnt want to. The only reason they rescued Frodo and Sam was because the leader of the eagles, Thorondor; liked gandalf and I believe owed him a favor(this part might be cap). You could also say that the Nazgul (screaming lizard dragons) wouldve lowkey tore them apart but the films showed otherwise
@@LePezzy66 maybe! I personally dont think so. The Ring takes your biggest strenghts/goals and twists it. Boromirs biggest strength was his duty to Gondor and her people. The ring took his insticts and turned it against the hobbits (Boromir thought they could use it as a weapon against sauron and his armies, and the ring abused this) SO in conclusion, the eagles dont want power, they dont want gold, or armies - the eagles just simply exist, and so the ring couldnt do much. Sauron would most likely barter with the eagles in exchange for their services in his war. I hope that helps (and if im wrong someone let me know!)
that was my thought. The whole point of the fellowship instead of just getting a full army to escort the ring was the necessity of secrecy. The quest succeeded largely because Sauron didn't know where Frodo and Sam were and was constantly distracted. I was always pretty sure them just storming Mordor on a bunch of huge eagles would just get them shot out of the sky long before they even reached Mount Doom.

The thing I love about Jack playing a game is that it's like you're playing a game with a friend and you get to talk over the pros and cons. It makes it so it's more then just watching someone play it. Looking forward to more.

Over 6 hours of Jack playing a Dark Souls game bonking people is my definition of a perfect evening. I'm going to be rewatching this video over and over for years!
The Great Club has been my main weapon for every first playthrough of souls games. Stunlocks little enemies, they great quick roll attacks for bosses, and they have crazy hitboxes for fighting without lock-on.
Gough's cutscene gives me chills every time, an absolute legend. I little lore about him, he's not actually blind, his helmet was just covered with resin and he assumed he was blind.
50 tries? bruh i beat on my second try and i was new to dark souls or any soulsborne games for that matter only ones i agree with taking forever to beat is bed of chaos for what BULLSHIT it is and the super londo bros for jumping my ass all the time
@@ragnarmikk7771 for bed of chaos there is a way to "cheese" the boss after getting into the boss room go for one of the two things you need to hit then quit and reload the game you'll be outside the boss room but the one you already hit will be gone then just repeat the same thing for the other side then you just need to deal with getting to the middle to beat the boss. As for Smough and Ornstein you can summon solaire to distract one while you kill the other also use charcoal pine bundles for more damage.
11:28 "Knowing what I know now, that was a child." This couldn't get more accurate. I know I'm only in my early twenties, but looking back at the decisions I made and all the consequences that came right after during my teenage years (when I was expected to be perfect at all times yet I kept failing at it and knowing now so much of the things that would've made my life easier back then), those bad times didn't happen because I was a failure. It was simply because those versions of me were just a child. And I know I'll have the same thoughts on my thirties when I'll look back at my twenties.
I'm thirty-five, and I can totally confirm that you are right. You'll look back on your twenties, a time when you (generally) think you're wise and ready for the world, and realize just how childish you still were. It's not your fault, though. This world, for some ridiculous reason, expects us to be perfect the moment we start walking and talking. Just be sure to look back on yourself with kindness and compassion.
The inter-connectivity of the dark souls world can also be found in Subnautica! It too has many of these interconnecting entrances and pathways that you find by exploration, or by going further down beneath the surface and soil, only to later find that when you leave it, you're somewhere you were before. Which is a large part why Subnautica is so good at being an exploration game.
You do not know what a smile graced my face when I saw the title. Hope this is the start of a fromsoft series because I really enjoyed your previous videos with their games and I can't wait to watch this mammoth of a video in chunks. Hope you had a ton of fun!
@@NickCombs It is one of those games you look back on as terrible.but with my experience your likeness to the game grows as you play. It's not a bad or terrible game. But it's a pretty bad Dark Souls successor.

5:35:29 The abyss is spreading through Oolacile which is why Artorias went to fight it, however the area is saved by the Chosen Undead's actions in the DLC, So Oolacile becomes Darkroot Garden in the future. That's also why Sif and Artorias' grave are in Darkroot Garden.

It's also nice to learn about another game from a genre I haven't touched, and you explaining the game just shows how much you love it, it's nice watching someone talk about something they love.
Highly recommend. Just know it will require a lot of patience when you first get into them. But you won't regret it

Hi Sean! Longtime viewer here (6-7 years now);
I can understand that these videos might seem challenging to put out due to the specific genre of games / entertainment and the length of the video.
I cannot thank you enough for what you've done for me over the years so for now, thank you for everything and please keep going : )

Can we acknowledge that saying "I know you won't see this comment" makes it higher up in the comment section by default?
I also had the EXACT same reaction! Then my gf looked over to me and asked: “what is it?” And I said “JACK JUST UPLOADED DARK SOULS!! I AM SO HAPPY!!”

THANK you
Pretty sure they had massive fucking dragons as well.

Lore/theories trivia:
1:49:38 There's no canon answer to Sen's identity (Sen is only assumed to be either a person or a unique object, because his name in Japanese - セン/Sen - is written in katakana), but one theory is that Sen is the Nameless King, Gwyn's banished firstborn son.
Thanks!

They would also get corrupted by the ring right?
Correct. And the Nazgul straight-up controlled the skies, which is also implied. @@LePezzy66
Yeah the Eagles of Middle Earth are basically demigods, if they got their talons on the One Ring they'd be immeasurably worse than Sauron@@LePezzy66
The way Jack's moan echoed through the cathedral at 34:27 resonated with me on a deep level
It’s so Ethereal
Truly
us soundphiles gotta stick together
Audiophiles everywhere moaned after hearing that
A moan so powerful it echos through time and space
If he’s bald Ryan Reynolds’s when he’s human is he Deadpool when he’s a hollow?
Watched half of this video then thought to my self “I should buy and play this game” so I did, and man was it the most fun I’ve had gaming in a while

No way, i just finished rewatching your Bloodbourne and Elden Ring play throughs! sooooo happy this video has come out
Question is bloodborne or elden ring…
@@liamduckworthyou ask Jack and he will say Bloodborne, he has made it clear bloodborne is his favorite game of all time, multiple times lol
@@liamduckworth personally, i’ve played Elden Ring way more. Excited to put some time into Bloodbourne though :) but yeah right now, Elden Ring for me
@@jessiemay_ love that elden ring is stunning tbf such a nice game to just walk around a look at stuff but personally got to say the best area is potsville
I just came from rewatching your Elden ring and Bloodborne series to seeing this beauty on my feed. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
i've been using as a guide for my first playthrough.
hated this game when i first tried in 2020-2021, love it now in 2024!
Just finished the entire thing, and its amazing, would love to see dark souls 2 and 3 made into videos id love to watch them. I finished your bloodborne series awhile back and watched most of elden ring. I dont have what id consider the patience to play these games so, the pure gameplay and just commentary of these videos dont make it seem like a chore to watch and such. Amazing job.
i genuinely love the fromsoft playthroughs you do even if it's you just replaying. your commentary is so immersive and genuine- never change :) i've been a fan for a decade now and you never fail to make my day
This is something I didn’t realize I was missing. I used to binge jacksepticeye, never stopped loving the content but just got into other channels. Having completed DS1 for my first only a few months ago I was excited when a friend mentioned this video, and seeing someone with Sean’s energy and commentary playing one of my favourite games is heartwarming and extremely enjoyable. Honestly so glad this exists now :)
First full game walkthrough I watch from start to finish. Some fantastic and funny editing throughout. Earned a sub! Although I gotta watch someone worse for dark souls 2 lol I don’t see a walkthrough from ya
Fun fact, Rickert is based on the berserk character of the same name! And so is a lot of the dark souls series, they have taken a lot of inspiration from the series!
Ds2 greatsword be like:
Because Rickert is a certified pimp. If you know you know.
I love that Sean took a nice lil break and came back and hit us with "HERES ALL OF DARK SOULS IN ONE SITTING"
Absolutely love this man 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The thing I love about Jack playing a game is that it's like you're playing a game with a friend and you get to talk over the pros and cons. It makes it so it's more then just watching someone play it. Looking forward to more.
I personally am not a gamer, but I love watching people play games. It’s my favorite way to spend time. I LOVE watching Jack play these games cause it’s so entertaining and his joy and love and excitement for the games is just so infectious. His bloodborne and Elden ring playthroughs have become some of my staple comfort series so I’m so excited I’m gonna have the full game series to watch! Thank you Jack!!!!
Over 6 hours of Jack playing a Dark Souls game bonking people is my definition of a perfect evening. I'm going to be rewatching this video over and over for years!
1:48:47 The fact that Jack impression of Jigsaw is so good just gives goosebumps and makes me a bit scared...
2:20:16 Jack uses his 100% brain power to see the future with the help of X

Sean being proud of Evelien being impressed by his jumping skills in Dark Souls is adorable.
Happens to the best of us
He never took it off
Me: spends an entire week and over 50 attempts trying to beat the bell gargoyles for the first time
Jack: BONK
We've all been there, the gargoyles are tough the first time around for sure
For the bell gargoyles if needed you can summon npc's to help. You can summon Solaire and Lautrec.
50 tries? bruh i beat on my second try and i was new to dark souls or any soulsborne games for that matter only ones i agree with taking forever to beat is bed of chaos for what BULLSHIT it is and the super londo bros for jumping my ass all the time
@@ragnarmikk7771 for bed of chaos there is a way to "cheese" the boss after getting into the boss room go for one of the two things you need to hit then quit and reload the game you'll be outside the boss room but the one you already hit will be gone then just repeat the same thing for the other side then you just need to deal with getting to the middle to beat the boss. As for Smough and Ornstein you can summon solaire to distract one while you kill the other also use charcoal pine bundles for more damage.
dawg 50 tries is INSANE
6 hours of jack... holy shit this is awesome!
@Bentaga-recap9horrible bait do better kid
@Bentaga-recap9 get yo money up not yo funny up
@@ariaghhwhat's goody my gang?
5:20:14 YES JACK, we would love that very much, i would love to see you play DS 3 with your aggressive play style hahaha
He made a playlist of his full straight playthroughs of Soulsborne games. I am in heaven. Over 24 hours of Jack and games, perfect
Community: Darks Souls 2 on the way?
Jack: "Doctor Turn Of My Pain Inhibitors"
"Doktor, turn off my I-frame inhibitors." ADP: exists "I was fucking joking!" -Jack probably
Honestly if he doesn’t like the game, I wouldn’t want to see him play it.
@@NickCombs It is one of those games you look back on as terrible.but with my experience your likeness to the game grows as you play. It's not a bad or terrible game. But it's a pretty bad Dark Souls successor.
I have recently gotten into the souls games and I’ve wondered why everyone hates the 2nd one? I haven’t played it I’m more of a bloodborn fan lol.
@@Yuri-uf2tu It does things a lot differently. A lot of people just got used to how the other games played and there were too many changes for them. Personally it's my favorite soulsborne game but I understand that it's different. It's not bad, just different
5:39:20 for those who dont know artorias was only injured at this point and was still fighting abyss creatures during this the abyss finally catches him and he loses himself
there is deleted dialog of it too.
@@nicolasleal5644the dialogue goes something along the lines of "All of you... forgive me
For I have availed you nothing"
I have never played or seen anyone play a Dark Souls game until now. I'm not really into those games but I have a friend who is. After watching you play Bloodbourne and Elden Ring I am starting to enjoy Fromsoft games a lot more. Really great video Jack and your editor deserves all the praise for editing this really lengthy video. Also for your first really long lets play it turned out really well. Well done Jack.
Jack, I'm 32 and just beat my first playthrough of Dark Souls in my entire life about 15 minutes ago. I've been following along with your video for guidance and laughs, and it seriously made my playthrough so much more enjoyable. Thanks for this video, I might have given up and gone hollow if it wasn't for Bonk.
This is amazing! I can feel your passion oozing with this one. Please continue doing videos/series on games (old or new) that you share this passion with! imo it's when you shine your absolute brightest.
Sen was a tactician who built the fortress and filled it with obstacles in order to weed out unworthy figthers from entering anor londo. He also created the battle of stoicism in oolacile, another challenge for finding worthy fighters
I honestly don't care what you play, I just enjoy watching you play games. Have watched most of your full game playthroughs and this didn't disappoint
