What is so cool is that I just made that last night and added an internal pocket. I never saw this before now either. My design uses a different system for attachment to the main pack and has a draw pull closure. Another difference is that mine is Uber light weight made from NYCO ripstop in my personal camo. How cool that I just discovered your channel and by "coincidence" you are doing a good review on a modular minipack like the one that I just made! ☕🙂👍 The Lord Jesus bless you!
Nice one Joe. Showing me ways of spending more money lol Buying the Jaakari Medium this week, looks like I will be adding this to my order. All the best Clive 🤠
Nice short video, no frills, no mess, straight to the point. Very interested in the ‘Monster Ferro Rod’ can you please point me in the right direction..! Thanks.
Joe, thank you. Your main pack looks like a Jaakari Large. Can not quite see the bottom zipper. I used one at Josh’s Wilderness Skills Course last year and love the line. One of his trainers did not care much for my pouches. Oh well, my carry.
Hey Ken! It's the medium. The medium is my favorite all-round pack. The large is the next step up and what I use for those overnight trips. I do change my pouch set up nearly every time I am out haha. So which ver works for you, my man. Would love to get over and see Josh's place some day. It's one hell of a school.
How did you manage to get the clip on buckles in the UK? They don't come as standard and I can't get them without spending £140 (and they're about £2 each).
I work for Savotta. Last it was discussed its just brexit and the restructiring of all the shipping laws. Especially around military based products. Something that all companies are working on at the moment. If I can help by sending you some buckles let me know.
I do indeed. There are many systems out there but I like the overall simplicity of this and the fact Savotta use the same materials across there range.

Savotta goods aren't the easiest to purchase in the UK. I've been wanting to buy one of these Hakta bags for a good few months now but they've not been available in the UK and means spending £140 to get one plus tax and shipping on top. I have just found a UK seller though.
I live in the US and I have had the same issue. I finally found a seller I could find the hatka12 and purchase it and have it delivered. Canadian outdoor equipment
Yes sadly Brexit meant the rule book on importing "Military based goods" completely went sideways. But I work with Savotta and we are trying our best to rectifiy this but they can be got from places like Verusteleka and Scandavaian outdoors who last I looked shipped to the UK. Hope this helps some. Anything else dont hesitate to ask.

Well look at who I found! Went looking for a Hatka vid as I'm thinking of adding one to the kit, and here's Joe and Ida, what a treat 😊
Thanks Joe, after seeing your video made me decide on this pack system. Expensive but I’m super happy with it and how customizable it is!
The hatka doesnt come with the four buckles, you have to buy separately
Apologies, mine did as I work with savotta and get a lot of stuff still in the propping stage. It was just a miscommunication between them and I.
Came here for the savotta pack subbed for the excellent looking content brotha!! Headed to horse hoof fungus next!!✊️🔥✌️💚
Endurance showed me your channel 👍👍
A great Friend and great guy. Thanks for the support brother Kenneth

Looks like the perfect backpak always been looking for a pack to carry my stuff when I go out to punch squirrels

Great review of the Hatka 12. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it and thank you for the support !
Something I really would want from savotta is to have hook an loop lining on the inside of the Jääkäri Line.

What boots are they you're wearing, please?
Hey luke. Thanks for the comment. They are Lundhags Wandra 2. They come in different heights from ankle lenght up to the full sized ones I wear.
Do like the modular system savotta has. Similar to the karrimor sf range I got into about 4 years back.
I do indeed. There are many systems out there but I like the overall simplicity of this and the fact Savotta use the same materials across there range.
@In Forests And Lands it also make repair if required easier. Limiting the number of components or material just makes it simpler to fix things.
What size Jaakari pack do you have? Does the Hatka12 fit on the jaakari M?
It does indeed. Its the M I am using in the Video. It fits the small but it starts getting in the way of things.
Don't think I'd pick a fight with a squirrel, remember they eat nuts ...🤣
HAHAHAHAH !
Great and funny review, cheers!
Means a lot Richans. Thank you !
@@inforestsandlands Thank You!
