Wow! As the person that does all of the animations & graphics for his channel, this was really great to see! The way you presented the entire video felt on brand with what we aim to achieve, and the parts of our visual storytelling philosophy that you covered were well told. I think as his brother we share a special common ground when it comes to merging my graphics with his cinematography, and it was especially fun to see you describe how I approach motion design - I don’t always notice what I’m doing in tangible terms, as a lot of the time it’s just based on feeling haha. Part of the common ground we have as well is that we’re constantly in a need for something new, thus why his form of storytelling and my graphic elements have changed and adapted over the years - that was really keen of you to notice! All in all great video, I very much enjoyed the watch 🎉
Whoa! No way! Well, let me take a moment then to say then that I'm a MASSIVE fan of your style Sky! 😱😄 I feel a little silly now for not catching on to the fact that the motion graphics were actually you, but at the same time I'm super happy that the points were still true and that you feel it was an accurate representation. That's actually such a massive accomplishment to have multiple different people contributing different parts and retain a singular cohesive voice that feels like it's coming from one place. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment man! It actually means the world to have a positive response from the person this whole thing was about to begin with! 😄 Maybe I should change the title and thumbnail now, haha 🙏🙏🙏
@@MotionArrayTutorials I appreciate it!! And don't worry about it, I've come to learn that when people reference his style, that includes me -- even if they don't know it 😉 he's in charge of all the storytelling and editing, my job is the design and animations to complement that -- so it still is under the Nathaniel Drew branding. Also, leave the thumbnail and title as is! It's more likely to get clicks haha
🙌🙌
@Skymography. How many years did it take you to learn all this?
We need more episodes of this series. It is so good!
Currently making another right now 😄🙏🤫
Thank you so much for this wonderful explanation. Being a huge Nathaniel Drew fan, I always try to get inspired from his style in my own videos. Im glad I have a direction now from your video.

Man you have helped so much with your videos, thanks !
Wow that's so amazing to hear, thank you so much! 😍
This is a masterpiece! Loved every second of this breakdown. Thanks for providing gold to us, as always. :) I like how Nathaniel’s style suits his personality and the details tell a story about himself as a human being. That is Art. Pure visual storytelling. Something that A.I. would never be able to recreate. Only saying that because I have been seeing a lot of talk about the ChatGPTs and the Midjourneys. These can always help us improve our workflow, but can never replace us coz of the personal stories we all got to tell through our Art. ❤️
Thank you so much!! Happy you enjoyed 😍
This and the Johnny Harris video are great and so so so helpful! MORE PLEASE!
Absolutely 😄 already got another one in the works. Guess who it's for 🕵🤔😄
Really helpful! Thank you very much!

Brilliant
Thanks! 😁
Wow what a video
So glad you think so! 😄🙏
This was really well done mate. I have no experience whatsoever in filming/editing, but it’s a skill I wish I had. Exploring the creative side sounds incredibly fun yet also daunting (learning the skills etc.). Do you have or know of any great tutorials on Davinci Resolve? Considering it’s the most complete editing software that’s free.
Nathaniel Drew is not any typical vlogger, he's filmmaker
True!
Damn Cool video !
Thanks so much! Stoked you liked it!!! 😄
Amazing! If I can only apply everything taught here on my videos Ill be amazing too!
Thanks Daniel! 😄 I believe in you!!!
we need a tut on the flight leak transition😮
Hi! I love the creator Alivia d'andrea and I would love to see you break down her work; I really enjoy her editing style and there are a few videos in particular that are really great. thank you!
7:22 How cold was it on that bench?
Anyway, such a well-done video you got here. I love it!
Haha 😂 VERY cold. Thanks for noticing!! 😁🙏🏻
i subcribe for motion array..find it difficult to use since i OBS..can you plesae suggest which video editor should i use
For sure 😄 I personally love FXhome and DaVinci Resolve because they're FREE! 😄 and they're super powerful
Question: @3:35 I'm doing everything you're doing, and when I scrub over my text, I can see it flicker, but when I actually watch through playback, it's still. What could be the problem?
Очень познавательно и весьма интересно посмотреть!🔥 Спасибо большое за интересный контент, бро !🙏🔥✨
Я так рада, что тебе понравилось видео! 😄 Ваши слова настолько добры, что я действительно ценю это! 🙏
Let's talk about your audio quality though! What's your setup for that?
Thanks so much! 😄 Was a simple Senheiser Lav on location for most of it and the intro was done with a Rode NT1A. But the real secret sauce is my Audio Engineer friend who gave it the final coat of polish 😄
2:39 what’s s the name of the effect and the video?
were the contest winner ever announced?
What’s the music at 9:45 I have been looking for it because of airrack
It's by Johann Strauss "The Blue Danube" and we have a licensed version over at Motion Array 😄

@@MotionArrayTutorials You are a savior Bro.
Can you please make a breakdown video of @Gawx art
That would make me so happy to do! 😄
@@MotionArrayTutorials I'm waiting for it
what is the name of the Font that Nathan Drew uses?
Ooh, it actually changes quite a bit, I haven't been able to land on a single font that he continually uses sadly
@@MotionArrayTutorials No worries
So no Divinci Resolve Playlist ?? Common Motion Array.
We actually do have one 😄 I've shared it here to make it easier
ua-cam.com/play/PLuz8v_brMXJYQy_JLaohAto4VplFCJd4q.html
Well, don't you look stupid.
next one. Ali abdaal
Oooh! 😄 Yes good call!
The outer glow on some texts in the beginning seems a bit too much on the texts.
Hey, Motion Array team!👋
Can you please crack, editing style of "MaganaticMedia", I think in his editor team all are Motion graphic designers. 🥵
Heya! Nice suggestions, we'll be taking a look 👀
how to use this as a preset ?
Hi Visual RKS 😄 Which part were you referring to for the preset? Was there a timecode in the video you were referring to?
Actually the glow text part you can see on 3:18 . That multiple layering actually I tried to nest this then try to make as a preset for next time use. but there is a no option. Help me out sir.
this is so cool. there is another effect I always wonder how is done, can u have a look at this, ua-cam.com/video/XILu7hxDr2w/v-deo.html at 6:02, how do we create a box with him inside, with the glowing animation outline, can it be done in premiere pro? can u do a tutorial?
Niklas Christl
