True, I would love to find out who the culprit was. Eating this poor individual's jam on toast on a work morning like that one, that too whilst he had taken a short detour just to go to loo, totally ridiculous.
What's funny is Netflix already has their own parody of this style. It's called American Vandal and it's one of the most underrated shows I've ever seen.
Almost perfect, what was missing was the detective sitting down and doing the classic boomer phrase of pointing to the camera and saying "is this thing on" before it cuts to his interview
This is so good, nails it. The reveal of the intertitle when the bread drops into the toaster, the close up on the turning dial, and the super-fast montage at 2:02 were all highlights. Missed a trick not calling it 'Caught Bread Handed' though
Well, not eating the crust of a damn toast should be a real crime. It's not even real bread, you'd actually have to be toothless to have problems with toast crust. And even then you could probably just crush it with your lips because ist just god damn toast bread! I can't remember a lot about breaking bad, I probably couldn't describe the ending to someone. But one thing I absolutely remember is pretty early in the show when they capture the dealer/DEA informant and keep him in the basement and he just LEAVES THE DAMN TOAST CRUST. THAT'S NO SITUATION TO BE PICKY, ESPECIALLY NOT ABOUT A FUCKING TOAST CRUST?! AND WALT EVEN CUTS IT OFF FOR HIM? That's just enabling him in being so picky about damnn TOAST CRUST. IT'S NOT HARDER OR TASTES MUCH DIFFERENTLY THEN THE REST OF THE TOAST. Also happy holidays people. Enjoy Christmas and a good start into the new year.

It's crazy honestly. The importance or cinematics not going off track, crisp clear audio and multiple angle changes. Kinda what I've tried to do with my first video, even though it is more video essay based business storytelling rather than showing my face.
I mean it's not very hard to make _me_ stop doing my homework...

Don’t forget to turn the short story into at least 6 hour long episodes.
E.g. "dont f with cats"
Netflix: why wouldn't you tell a 2 hour story in 8 hours?
@@Jacob0481 What? Watch TikTok? 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, because, even if they upload all episodes at once, 2nd to 6th start with what happened in previous episodes, getting you confused on why they have repeated three times that the jam was bought by the mother twenty hours before the crime.
They could just make a two hours story, but nah!

Please don't take inspiration from these trends. They are done to death. Everyone wants 85mm b-roll and orchestral music that fit any scene. Everyone wants their work to be big and special while litterally doing the same thing some other guy did. Its lame.
@@stagger9660 spot on.
It's so unoriginal, and one of the many reasons that Netflix documentaries are wank in the first place. Other than their weak content and stron bias of course.

This is a just flat-out phenomenal editing. Everything builds and progresses with such a good flow and even the music. Love it!
Well seriously, who ate the toast. I’m too invested in this.Truly a masterpiece. This gives us all hope that we can one day create a docu worthy of Netflix, and now I want jam on toast, but I will eat it where no one can take it lol
I think it’s the brother tbh he seemed a little too happy…like he wasn’t taking it too seriously
But also the mom was a bit defensive. It wouldn't shock me if the brother took the toast, but the mom is hiding a bigger, darker secret
I'm pretty sure it was the police officer
Maybe he ate it and forgot
Clearly he ate it himself. That's the plot twist, he wanted us to think his brother did it. His mother wasn't even supposed to be a part of the story if it wasn't the police officer getting involved as well... Masterpiece.
Holy shit. The music combined with the dynamic of the shots/cuts just makes the entire thing. You could literally film a field of grass that way, underline it with this kind of dramatic music and I would alternate between eating popcorn and chewing on my finger nails.
The credit reveal when the toast dropped, sold me. Amazing takedown of a tired formula.
That was actually pretty cool. It also shows how the industry stretches out a simple story to make millions.
Man. You are seriously underrated. The editing, the light, the dialogue design, and foremostly your acting itself, it's just beyond words how good this is. I would seriously pay for a seat in the cinema if you actually make a documentary out of it!
