Big Country were amazing, They never got the attention they deserved
Thanks to the sound engineer who recorded this, awesome quality!
Such an underrated band. Great musicians, great songs and great live performances. So sad they are considered a "one hit wonder" in America because Big Country was so much more!
What makes you believe they're underrated?
Angle Park rocks. 😅
Teatime with the Tube. RIP. Sorely missed.
When I was 20 this was the band to see. Caught them 4 times in 1983.
Every gig transcended way way beyond being a gig, into something tribal energetic and beautiful. Great time to be young. Great soundtrack. Musically they were simply immense.
Your name will never die, Stuart Adamson.
STAY ALIVE!
Adore the bass in this song, top band.
Stuart is one of the greatest musicians ever to live..every track an absolute banger
Great band, great tracks, charismatic lead singer with a great voice! Big fan forever!
Amazing
What a fantastic performance by a fantastic band. So sorry the lead singer took his life. Just goes to show,no matter how positive some one seems on the outside, doesn't mean that's whats really on their inside. Not trying to be judgemental.
Brilliant , when music meant something
Tony Butler beast of a bass player
Incredible live version of a great big country song!!!
Great way to start the weekend, Big Country on The Tube.
Bloody hell; they look so young!!
Great band. RIP Stuart.
Hopefully your at peace.
I loved The Skids and was so sad when they split, what a surprise when BC were so much better. RIP Stuart
My favorite band of 1980’s and still live their music.
I looked like Stuart back then. Had my hair cut like his too.
These guys really brought the goods! Great everything!
I've been to Scotland a couple of times now, and have seen Big Country perform live back in the days. When I pass through the Alps I still hear that lovers voice across the mountain side. This music is so lovely and rhythmic, and that combination is truly brilliant. I wish it would go on forever...
Just so fantastic I listen to them every day can't get enough of them so unique
Powerful performance ❤
Unreal. Had never heard of this song but very happy to have found it. This song is a repeater on my playlist.
Saw BC live twice. Two incredible shows.
World class performance. Fantastic live band. Seen them in dublin, summer 1983 at phoenix Park. And the following year in belfast
Omd this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good it’s indescribable 🙌
Their best song imho
..my favorite from their discography
i saw them 83-86 at Newcastle City Hall it was jumping R.I.P Stuart Adamson
On the Steeltown tour at Newcastle, they opened with Wonderland and had technical sound issues for about 20 minutes. then played the full gig. Gave out free tickets at the end for free and played the same gig again one week later. amazing
Still loving them
Pure class and energy!!👍
That boys and girls is real talent.
A great band with high quality musical content. Extremely professional and musical.

Amazing 👏
Stuart was a gorgeous, sexy beast. 🥰💯
There is a great of this live from Roundhay Park Leeds
Hey.. The first comment ever to this video. Great song. The first time I listened this song, was in an album that I bought: Wonderland. Great memories. A question: someone knows what this song is about? Thanks and greetings from Costa Rica.
Sergio Alvarado I can vaguely remember something about the song being written because Stuart used to live near a park which always looked very dim and had grim statutes which eventually ignited the song. Not entirely sure where I remembered this from but I think he might have known about the park from back in his Skids days because I think Richard Jobson was mentioned where ever I read it?
It was a street in Dunfermline that they knew of.
maybe its the Glen in dunfermline. the whole o dunfermlines prety dreekit like.
must be in abby view then haha
@@WahlbergBabey it was the name of his house in townhouse I town outside dunfermline
I feel like this is Stuart’s last punk hurrah. It’s not straight out, but the energy and the angst, it seems like a transition in a way from Skids to BC. Maybe I’m talking out of my….
0:12 wha
I wonder if the song refers to Angle Park near Ladybank in Fife, Scotland?
It refers to a house on townhill road in dunfermline , the house is called angle park, it could have been the name of the band
Now there's a place Ladybank not been there for a few years , nothing but roundabouts in Fife
I Used to think (when I was 14 in 84)it was “it Ain’t going to work” not “ In Angle park” 😂…..won’t say what I think the evil genius was doing to his wife 🤣
Stuart Adamson tá parecendo o Morten Harket do A-HA
Yo pensaba lo mismo... Quizás los escocéses tienen algo de sangre Viking!
