Stay Alive!
I remember watching this the night it was first broadcast and being blown away....my first exposure to BC. Saw them live many times and always loved how they appeared to be enjoying themselves as much as the audience. A unique and very special band.
@02:25 -Stuart at his most passion charged, I think I've ever seen. This is why this performance has been my favourite for many years. Rock on Stuart!
This one of my early favorites, I prefer this to 1000 Stars when it comes to opening the gig. Big Country is at its best when the songs and playing almost seems at a frantic pace. Great Track, thanks Andy
Saw them supporting The Jam in December '82 at Wembley Arena. Play in a Belfast Jam tribute band...and last weekend teamed up with a local Big Country tribute band 'Angle Park'.
Big Country always the best! Always were, always will be - sometimes listening to anything else just strikes me as a waste of time.
briliant
love the original big country xx
Wish this had been an single one of my faves
Fave version of this
Incredibly good
Should've been a single - what an anthem ! Same can be said about "All Of Us" as well.
It was issued on single, as the B-side of “Fields of Fire”. This was for us, the fans, not the trite charts. Live, it’s driving rhythms really rips it up.
@@Mudge07yeah,i had all their singles from 1982 up to 1993 on 7"/12" and CDS,but I personally felt this song was strong enough in it's own right to be a single.
Fantastic quality 🎸🎸🎸🥁
Their just amazing love big country can't get enough of them and a great post thanks
One of the powerst songs! Maybe my fave (usually the one I hear at the loudest volume). Thank you!
great from the start
Love the bit at 02:47 where stuart looks so angry
love it
Thanks for sharing really good to see
This was only a couple of weeks after they'd supported The Jam at Wembley, and I think there's some parallels here between Adamson and Weller here in terms of fire and raw passion.
Wow wow wow!!!!!!
Bliss
Muyyyyyyyy muyyyyyyyy buenaaaaa scotish powerrrrrrrrr

phantastic band and archive recording. I really miss Stuart a lot. But please don't do stretch the 4:3 image to 16:9 but keep at least 90% of the aspect ratio and put the same video zoomend and blury in the background. That looks much better and faces don't look like pancakes like in this one.
Programmist it's not a straight stretch. The aspect ratio was carefully considered, so what this is, is a crop of the source material so that only a very minimal stretch was required. It certainly isn't a straight 4:3 to 16:9 stretch. Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you liked the clip.
But why go to the trouble of remastering it and keep it in the wrong aspect ratio?
Hi Jeff, yeah I know. 😖 There is no feature to edit what is already uploaded, video wise. I would have to wipe it and start afresh. Apologies.
What is the venue?
Brixton Ace
Remember them this way not for the joke that is the 2020 line up!
Andy Miles the new lineup isn’t bad. Okay they will never be as good at there were in 1982-1990. But we can’t do anything about that. We lost the legend that is Stuart Adamson. The group needed to move on and they have. And they have done it well
we,lll agree to disagree.
I've been supporting Big country since 84 and yes it's not the same without Stuart and Tony but time and life moves on but Big country have to start putting out new material
