Hardware 3 is a winner and I can't wait until this comes to Europe and experience this joy for myself! In the meantime much joy watching your videos and FSD getting better and better 🙏
@@paulhamrick3943 I took a MY for a test drive two days ago for comparison. The test drive Y had AI4 with 12.1.3. fsd. It was unreal. The half hour test drive using fsd was perfect. I was in traffic most of the time (4 lanes). No interventions and I felt very comfortable with the way the Y handled, braked, accelerated and passed other vehicles.
Great work for sharing your site view if f.s.d to us, 😊. Please , I hope to see the display visuals of your model s edited and positioned at the front right passenger seat view. For your steering wheel blocks it view.
Are you all in the US receiving this upgrade on FSD? I wonder when would this arrive in other parts of the globe. I reckon if there's not enough simulations on the roads with not enough Tesla cars being driven, we'll probably be expecting this in 5 years time or 10 the most. Just even using the autopark is so slow and can't be trusted.
I think that was the AI making the u-turn and it was a mistake. The flow I believe is mapping followed by the car perception, checking it with the nav request, then trying to choose the correct path. It messed up.
@@Chris-bz9pg Yeah, it's pretty slow. It's hard to predict how long it'll take to get all the HW3 cars, but it'll certainly be weeks if not more. Best hope it that they're preparing another point release, and it'll be rolled out faster.
That's a long way off. For technical reasons, I don't think FSD can achieve SAE Level 3, so the next step is Level 4, and I don't think we're that close to Level 4.
@@BadL_ SAE Level 2, which FSD is, requires a backup driver to take over immediately when required. But Level 3 allows a delay, typically 10 seconds, before the backup driver must take over. The best example of Level 3 is Mercedes-Benz Drive Pilot, now approved on limited roads in Nevada and California. This is trivially easy when all vehicles are moving in the same direction at
I’m new to Teslas and I just made my first long distance roadtrip using FSD. I found a few bugs like it reads the 40MPH Minimum Speed limit as actual speed limit and it slows down for a few seconds before it picks back up to 70MPH plus it cannot detect road debris like truck tires and a large car bumper or potholes. It also had a difficult time navigating within road construction containing several white lines close to each other. Other than that it did well it actually got me to my destination 280 miles later. Hope they can workout those bugs.
Where FSD waits for the other car to come passed at 7:15 is actually quite amazing! Wow

a road trip cross country would be nice content
I’m excited the update just showed up on my App, and it’s going to install @3:30am tonight, so it will be like Xmas morning tomorrow 🤪🎄🎅
I received an update as well but it was only the summer update. It didn’t include 12.5 which was annoying
2:50 That was scary!
thank you for your hw3 video
Omar, My Y is way to erratic right now with 12.5.1.5. I'll ride it out till we get an update. Not a problem, cuz I know it will get fixed.
Is it worse than 12.3.6?
@@paulhamrick3943 yes, 12.5.1.5 is not performing as well 12.3.6 for me. I'm not using FSD as much because there are too many takeovers.

I HW3 cars were waiting for this new version wide release seemed like Forever. Please have a wide release very soon.
Soon as I cancel my subscription the updates come out fast
Any body who has received it for hardware 3 please post the day you got it.
got it yesterday
Last night for v12.5.1.5
Haven’t had a chance to test it yet.
Can’t wait !
8/27 saw software update but a closer look and it is 2024.26.7 which still has 12.3.6. Tesla is doing a large roll out of 2024.26.7 at this time.
@@Starts_with_T_ends_with_A Yep. Just got that one just now. Was excited till I saw notes.

I’m in California, and I’m waiting for this to be available on my HW3. How did you get already?

I received an update on my HW3 vehicle thinking it was 12.5.1.5 but it was just the summer update without the 12.5
Yup, got me too!😢
I wouldn't be surprised if by 2035 Tesla steering wheels will be optional.😮
Definitely has a personality, get outa my way sucker..😊
When’s wide release????
I got it yesterday 8/26
Just 1 year away from robo taxi max 2
How did you change your referral link name?
Yeah, this is great but when are we all going to get it? I’ve been waiting months for this when Elon said it was going to be a week or two.
It's going out to hundreds of HW 3 cars each day starting 8/22, and about 3% of HW 3 cars have it already.
@@BigBen621 is that pretty standard speed? seems a bit slow after 5 days

They need to crank up the rollout way faster.

Adjust in your settings.
