In our church they told us our life will be much worst if we left. My life got so much bette and everyone else I talked to. It’s only difficult at the beginning because there’s a lot of detoxing that needs to occur.
I’ve been scouring the internet for testimonial videos in this format from people who left scj. I think I’ve watched all of them out there (in english at least). I’ve been keeping up with this channel ever since I saw that interview with Chris, an ex scj member. I recommend it, as well as Pieces 4 Peace, little bird, and shincheonji skeptic, to any scj member who is doubting. I can relate to so much Laurie is sharing and i barely hit the 20 minute mark lol. Thank you great light studios for making this video, and thank you laurie for being open about everything you experienced. I have very dear friends in scj who joined in their early 20s and are about to enter their 30s. It makes me sad and upset when i remember all the times they shared with me what they want to do in life (traveling, marriage, vacations, ambitions) yet pushed it off for this greater hope in god’s kingdom… It makes me want to hate god, but it’s really just people that I blame. People are evil and if I’m mad at god, it’s only because it’s people who have created him in their own image. To anyone still healing from any cult experience, your life is too precious to live without peace. Find the answers that will keep you moving forward, and do what you need to feel supported and heard :) I for one am rooting for you!!

Are you referring to Laurie as a physical or spiritual brother? Laurie no longer believes in God. He prefers the world and the science to prove God even exist over faith sister.

I would recommend you watch SCJ parables and basics of learning the bible to find out if the teachings from the worldly pastors make sense and it's back up within the bible. SCJ teaches the parables and the whole bible very well. People who betray God from Adam to Moses no longer has God's spirit because God can't be with people who has been deceived from Satan. God's spirit is no longer with Laurie because he has allowed Satan's spirit to deceive him. SCJ teaches the OT,NT and revelation, prophecies and fulfillment. Please learn and discern for yourself before you call SCJ's true teaching a cult.

I have a life, I work, I have nice worldly things and it satisfies me to a certain extent. SCJ has never tell me to stop living my life. I urge you to be with family, friends, and be me. My citizenship is in heaven not here. I prefer to be with God and Jesus one day, not be a part of Satan's world.

I'm curious to see how WMSCOG members react to the current wave of SCJ videos.
The two cults behave and act the same, and are basically carbon copies of each other in terms of their mindset and corruption.
They will not react nor comment nor debate because they have been taught, programmed and manipulated with false doctrine of the second coming Christ Anghsunghong and mother god, Anghsunghong was born in a family who were Buddhist, idol worshipers, He grew and was brought up in a family that worshipped idol, that itself proves that he is a fake second Christ, likewise the mother god, with such things how can they be God, will God share his glory with such persons, think about it, but they hide they hide the first 30 yrs life of Anghsunghong and create their own doctrines and prophesies which is nowhere in the bible nor the prophets or Jesus said or prophesied about the so called mother god. All they know is to ignore and reject what Jesus actually taught. They do exactly opposite of what Jesus commanded. They do not know what Jesus commanded, there are lots of examples and commands of Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Luke which is totally ignored and rejected by the WMSCOG. The way they boast and behave is exactly like the pharisees, not a bit like and what jesus commanded, they are the modern pharisees. 100%.

@@kaidotran2302 look into high control groups and the BITE model by Stephen Hassan. He goes into detail of the difference between a healthy religious group and a unhealthy group.
At the root of every high control group is deception, and SCJ has a long history of lying.
How do people still be trapped in this cult? Even those who seems logical are not leaving, and those who looks like they are not paying attention (leaders)
I dont know how you guys stayed for 7 year. I am being the bible study for 6 month. About 4 weeks I started seeing all red flag.
I got into the zoom Bible study but left after 6 months.

By the way it's sad to say that people right in the OT found it difficult to obey the 10 commandments and accept GOD...in the OT could not follow and accept our Lord Jesus and follow the accumulated TWO important laws and now the Book of Revelation would the people too be able to accept the HOLY SPIRIT and accept the second coming of JESUS CHRIST? I think if people cannot go through the narrow gate they could just leave but do not slander...well they did it with Jesus...they called HIM the son of the devil..so its gonna happen again...I bet it's gonna be tough for those people.its very difficult to get onto the narrow path and follow the way Christ lived according to the will of the Father.We are human and cannot be perfect but we can try to be Christ like if we allow HIM to dwell in and with us .. Some of us merely need evidence before we become convinced. If there is no evidence then we don't accept a claim. Its as simple as that.
Claims without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

I think you are confusing perception with understanding. I have found fault with SCJ's doctrine. I have made a few videos on it.

The road less traveled is the narrow path, not many take it, why? It's not easy, so then in order to justify ones reasoning, one will do anything and say anything to comfort their actions, circumstances, relationship and environment, that's why there is warnings through out Scripture.
I think the path you walk in life is fundamentally irrational. There is simply zero evidence for any of the supernatural beliefs of SCJ. If you have issues with my reasoning then perhaps you can point out logical fallacies.
Gods ways are much higher than a mans. You want God to be a human but he’s not; sadly faith is needed to know God but most people don’t have faith in what they can’t see or understand..

I think that science is the best way to acquire knowledge. Since we have a subjective experience of an objective reality, we need a reliable method to acquire knowledge so that we can align our experience with reality. Hi Laurie. Did you feel peace and love while you were in SCJ or just on duties on the times?
I did feel peace and love at times yes. My experience in SCJ was mostly positive. I met great people there and loved belonging to a community. However, I was rather shocked how quickly they turned on me and blocked me simply because I was no longer convinced of what they believe. I never tried to actively get anyone out of SCJ but they treated me as their enemy and considered my questions to be a threat to them. Most of the people I met in SCJ were sincerely convinced of what SCJ teaches. However, the higher I moved up in structure the more I realized that the organization is more interested in reaching goals and growing their membership than following the truth. This is why they don't like people embracing skepticism. I want to follow that which is true regardless of how it makes me feel.

@@saasa3146yes. When I left the people I was close to stopped talking to me. Very strange. The girl that brought me there who I considered a very close friend even blocked me. That caught me by surprise
@@95luannaable yes, I still think about them from time to time. And I still don’t hate them. Used to be angry so much with them. Church does like this to all people, it’s very toxic for everyone. And I start to believe more and more, SCJ is using people for own benefits. It’s real god, cos god never teach to lie. It’s hard to know right and wrong with them, cos they always gaslight you.
