- Chinese is a very difficult language for English speakers. Today we will go through why Chinese is so hard and ways to master Chinese.
Chinese is hard because of :
1. Pronunciations
2. Similar Looking Characters
3. Different Writing system to English
4. Heterophones
5. Tones
6. Chinese Literature is difficult to interpret
Ways to master Chinese:
1. Speak it
2. Listen to it
3. Memorise it
4. Learn Basic Chinese before jumping into Chinese Literature
Yes, it's not as difficult as it seems, yet requires a smart and consistent method for foreigners!
Chinese is not a difficult language, the Chinese grammar is easy and pleasant . But is it possible to know Chinese well not really. There are so many characters, listening comprehension is really hard, a foreigner will never reach a very good level in Chinese even after 300 hundred years in China. Neverthe less it is possible to reach a certain level a will say intermediate, even to have some notions of literary Chinese and it is worthwhile because it is a beautiful language, the knowledge of the characters is always fascinating
Thousands of characters, tones, simplified vs traditional, several chinese languages, several dialects, pinyin. All those things together make Chinese hard as hell. 😢😢😢
Does angela have any social media? She is awesome!

I’ve used Simon Schusters and listen relatively on my iPhone everyday for 6 months it’s the same training FBI take. I also watch Chinese Soap TV dramas with English subtitles also Peppa Pig they speak slower for children. I understand 5-10% mandarin
