Exo Cars looks super fun. PSVR2 desperately needs more racing games. GT7 is great but more arcade racers, offroad racers, all of this would be really great for VR

I bought a PSVR2 because of your appearance on Sacred Symbols. I never played VR before, first game is Moss. Absolutely floored. Ty for highlighting VR and I hope Sony keeps it going

Pretty awesome games those two. I can't wait to play the racing game. My PSVR2 is almost only used for GT7, getting a second game to play in my cockpit is going to be sweeeeet. I really really hope it has wheel support on PSVR2. Drifting in VR is the best thing ever, and the physics in this game looks really good. Wreckfest style sliding.
Street racing, you say… I guess it’s really time to start saving for a racing rig! As if GT7 ain’t already enough temptation to spend hundreds of dollars I can’t afford.
Can only hope that the next Ace Combat game features a full campaign VR mode.
the exo car game makes me wonder why no other devs mad this game years ago, it is just what VR needs.

I hope Aces of Thunder sells headsets! Will need a large user base unless they open it up to play flat. If they do then need to show people that the VR owners are getting the most kills versus flat players.
Yeah I'm a bit concerned. Seems like it's gonna be multiplayer only, so it needs a big player base. I almost think it'd be a good idea to do a PC VR port 3-6 months after launch with crossplay.

Its crazy that im rooting for these big games supposed to be coming this year to be great at launch not just for me to enjoy them but almost equally for me to be able to give these companies full price for their games, and not wait for bug fixes and a sale. My dad got a wheel when I got him GT7, and I got PSVR2 for No Man's Sky, but never got into the time-sink that is Gran Turismo. This new racerz however, that I can get behind

FINALLY a new racer on psvr2! (with wheel support 😍too) I hope the street races have some sort of police presence, I've always thought running from the cops in a supercar in VR would be a pretty good time.
Aces of Thunder looked really good, I hope it comes out sooner rather than later. This next half of the year is looking stacked.

I see all these PC AAA games that just take a mod or two to get their VR versions working. It may just use regular controllers but the visuals are 90% of the immersion imo.
I just bought a motion simulator I sure hope they output the telemetry data, same with this exo game.
Not sure if Sony has an affiliate program, but they should get you on their asap. I would love to be able to click your affiliate link and "add to wishlist" or buy all these games you bring to us, something for all the hard work you're doing. You are the only person keeping my PSVR hopes alive.
Sony blacklisted us a couple years back so I wouldn't expect anything like that anytime soon :D
The Aces of Thunder footage does look good. Maybe the best thing about it is it seems to show the player attacking a ground target right at the end. One of my concerns about that game before is it seemed like all the fighting would take place in the air, making the different settings effectively nothing more than window dressing. If there's ground targets, suddenly different terrain becomes much more important.
I'd still like to see some low clouds that players can fly through, and maybe some mountains. Those two things helped make Ace Combat 7's VR levels really memorable.
not too big on plane games. but aces of thunder looks fun and looking forward to EXOcars.
Mixed feelings about the gameplay shown of Exo. Need to see collision physics and tracks with more undulation. Keeping my🤞

Apparently that video was just from the asynchronous multiplayer mode, and with real-time multiplayer there'll be an option for full collision. Not sure if it'll have dynamic vehicle damage like Wreckfest or anything, but that would be very cool.

On the UA-cam trailer they list all platforms to be coming in August. The line reads: "EXOcars will launch in August on VR (MetaQuest, Steam, Pico, PSVR2)". I might be wrong but to me this reads as its dropping on all systems simultaneously.
It goes on to say that you can play on PC and Steamdeck as well so I'm guessing this is a hybrid game 🤷♂️.
As it turns out August will be the Early Access release on Steam. So we may not be getting this on PSVR2 until early 2025 or so...

Not to sure about the tracers from oncoming bullets clipping through your cockpit, but otherwise it looks decent.
I'll suck at hitting anything in Aces, so I'm more excited that we'll have another racer. Like Newcomer87 said, we NEED this. Must be cross-play, though.
These both seem like they'll be pretty decent. Hopefully EXOcars will make use of Logitech Trueforce haptics. 🤞

Sony should push great content for this hardware. Why not make a AAA vr game that is similar to half life alyx. I've finished alyx via gaming laptop teathered to a quest 3 but Sony should do the same.

So in exocars you're just racing ghosts? I like to bump into cars.
That footage is from the asynchronous mode where you're racing ghost times. There's real time multiplayer too that should have collision. They're just a bit too early in development to show that off yet
