It’s a complaint for Sony more than the actual devs, I hate exclusives too but they could be entire system sellers with one game like this. Best recent example would be Asguards wrath 2 for quest 2-3

I'm fine with guided as opposed to widely open, I'm too easily lost in a game, and they don't have the budget of a AAA open world anyway. What will also be compared to Legendary Tales is the enemy variety.

This appears to be pretty much everything I hoped could be possible on PSVR2. Shadow of the Colossus is my personal dream VR game - add into that the 'power sim' aspect of Synapse, spectalular environments of Horizon Call of the Mountain and the combatnof Saints & Sinners with a bit of Mortal Kombat thrown in!) and we're looking at something quite incredible here. That October date cant come soon enough 🔥
So stoked for this. I don’t preorder, and normally wait for sales - but if BP’s review backs up this first impression then I’ll be happy to get this at full price

The grapple mechanic, in a weird way, reminds me of the telekinesis in Synapse in that it opens up a lot of creative gameplay opportunities. That kind of gimmick can be really fun in VR if implemented well.
I was cautiously optimistic when I saw the trailer last week.. This interview skyrocketed my hype level through the fucking roof! Thanks, Bryan, for asking all the right questions and thanks, Wes, for answering them so calmly and thoroughly as few can do.
Those are the games that can sell headsets, GTA6 & Helldivers2. not skyrim, not hitman, not any passed games. Sony needs its own Team of top VR converters to take top hit games from flat to VR. The AAA studios dont have time to do it themselves, thats why Sony needs its own team of master VR converters to do it for them because those AAA studios wont trust any other team only Sony themseleves could pull off this master level team of VR converters for NEW hit games from AAA studios. Since those teams wont bother but may give Sony access to do it since third party converters dont seem to have the skills to do proper VR conversions and Sony paying them is a waste of money. Sony needs their own masterful VR Team its cheaper then paying incompetents for VR conversions one by one.

Holy moly I'm impressed! I knew I had my psvr2 for a reason, I've only got a couple of VR games but nothing's really blown me away since RE4 Remake in VR this will 100% be a definite buy, this looks phenomenal, that Horizon forbidden mountain one was ok but didn't really grab me like I hoped it would, but this tho! 😱 Wow! I wish listed immediately after watching this
It sounds excellent, I am curious about headset/sense haptic? When you get a sword in the face do you feel it? When you send the hook shot? Clanging swords etc

I'm curious if those multiple paths mentioned offer unique gameplay, like one is more direct combat, one is more stealth based, etc. Wide linear sounds fine, but I hope the levels are somewhat connected and it doesn't feel like a jarring thing moving between them. Very hyped for this game. The melee reminds me of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, which would be awesome in VR.

Looks like a lot of fun. So glad it's a 10 ish hour experience. Can't wait! But man I'd be lying if I said the combat didn't look too easy. Behemoths look amazing but it's all the in between fodder enemies I'm worried about. They seem dumb as nails and all seem to look like exact clones too. These clips don't make the AI look too good or interesting, but hopefully it ends up being more refined and varied in the final release!
I was interested due to the hype from the announcement but wasn't sure what to expect gameplay-wisw, and then the trailer dropped and I was a little let down. It looked well done, but just another swordsman vr clone. This video has really gotten me hyped. Love the shadow of the colossus comparison.
there is 2 issues i see with the game so far, the snow design makes the game feel very liniar and abit like legendary tales level design, bland and uninterresting due to the white colour everywhere, and the second is that the enemy variety seems to be copy paste asset enemies so far, even if its a demo,
just my thoughts ? it is insane how this game, maybe a game changer, is charging only $39.99 while another game, a very janky indie title, that lacks polish and variety, is priced at $62.... just my 2 cents about how some devs price their games these days, i would happily shell out $39.99 to play this, but $62.99 for that game that i won't mention but i am sure everyone knows it ? no way.
I paid full price for the game which shall not be named just to support the developers. I 100% agree that they would have sold more copies had they priced the game competitively and in accord with the state of their product but they are a small indie dev studio, not business people. I don't think they set out to become rich from that game. I supported them because I would very much like to see another game from them, smaller scope but more polished and with all the lessons learned.

But the 39.99 price clearly worked for them in the past so let’s hope people actually buy it at launch and prove that this is a price gamers will get behind. I loved LT but it definitely felt a bit overpriced

I thought it was a giant monster fighting game with SOME normal enemy combat. Not the opposite.
Reminds me of Asgards Wrath in the scale department. That game was so epic, hope this pans out and has a similar quality.
