    If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
    Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

    Great recipe, I made it tonight. Croutons were ON EFFING POINT! Only 2 quibbles.
    Number one, One clove of Garlic? ONE??? Are you freaking kidding me???? I didn't use giant garlic, but I used 5 cloves.
    Number two, I added oregano to the crouton spicing and in the bag to marinate the chicken (it also needed more marinade time).
    Besides those minor things. I freaking loved this. I love a quick caesar, but this was fan tastic. Thanks again Sam.

    • @tammy5926
      @tammy5926 4 роки тому +6

      He wasn't marinating the chicken. He just added some of the dressing to the bag so it wouldn't year the meat when he pounded it.

    I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

    I will be trying this and Sam you where great. I’m pregnant and have been dying for a Caesar salad but all the restaurants aren’t selling them due to pandemic. So I figured I make it on my own. I found you and I’m great full and can’t wait to try this.

      @j._.taylor 5 років тому +1

      Yes there are, it's on the ingredients list on the bottle of Lea & Perrins (which is what he's using) that I have in my kitchen. It's a well-known ingredient of Worcestershire sauce, which is considered a fish sauce. Look it up.

    This reminds me of the man who was driving down the road and his car breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, "My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?"The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound. A sound unlike anything he's ever heard before. The Sirens that nearly seduced Odysseus into crashing his ship comes to his mind. He doesn't sleep that night. He tosses and turns trying to figure out what could possibly be making such a seductive sound.The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, "We can't tell you. You're not a monk." Distraught, the man is forced to leave.Years later, after never being able to forget that sound, the man goes back to the monastery and pleads for the answer again.The monks reply, "We can't tell you. You're not a monk."The man sa,ys, "If the only way I can find out what is making that beautiful sound is to become a monk, then please, make me a monk."The monks reply, "You must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of grains of sand. When you find these answers, you will have become a monk."The man sets about his task. After years of searching he returns as a gray-haired old man and knocks on the door of the monastery. A monk answers. He is taken before a gathering of all the monks."In my quest to find what makes that beautiful sound, I traveled the earth and have found what you asked for: By design, the world is in a state of perpetual change. Only God knows what you ask. All a man can know is himself, and only then if he is honest and reflective and willing to strip away self deception."The monks reply, "Congratulations. You have become a monk. We shall now show you the way to the mystery of the sacred sound."The monks lead the man to a wooden door, where the head monk says, "The sound is beyond that door."The monks give him the key, and he opens the door. Behind the wooden door is another door made of stone. The man is given the key to the stone door and he opens it, only to find a door made of ruby. And so it went that he needed keys to doors of emerald, pearl and diamond.Finally, they come to a door made of solid gold. The sound has become very clear and definite. The monks say, "This is the last key to the last door."The man is apprehensive to no end. His life's wish is behind that door!With trembling hands, he unlocks the door, turns the knob, and slowly pushes the door open. Falling to his knees, he is utterly amazed to discover the source of that haunting and seductive sound......But, of course, I can't tell you what it is because you're not a monk.

      Megatron healthy fats and that are limited to a healthy amount are good yes. but 200ml of oil which is 200g of fat, is in no way healthy at all.

      If you use a good organic olive oil it shouldn't hurt healthy people. The omega 3 fatty acids are really healthy, but you can always use less if it doesn't make you feel good 👍

    I have many content creators that I have subbed to here and ever since I stumbled upon your channel, it is literally the only thing I watch. I can count on one hand how many of the other channels I sub to that I’ve watched one video of lately. I love watching you cook, I love Max too, he brings a lot of personality and familial bonding to the videos. I have started cooking more things like you and I haven’t gotten take out once in the past month. All cooking at home. Sadly, I even season and cook things as if I’m doing it for Max and he’s filming me even though I’m alone in my apartment.....but I digress, love the videos, love the food, can’t wait to get more items that you use and your cook books. Making a bourbon romaine this weekend once I get some bourbon in fact!

    Thanks for the lighter fare Sam! Sure, I'm a fan of watching your more eccentric cooking adventures, but... This is food I'll actually cook! I'm trying the fajitas tomorrow and now I have a Caesar recipe that isn't made with boring store bought dressing. Keep it coming! Also, that marinade from the steak sandwich video goes amazing on pork AND chicken (haven't tried it on beef yet! lol). Thanks!
