  • In this video I hike the Ben Nevis. This mountain peak is the tallest in the UK. While not nearly as tall as the mountains in the Alps this is still a great hike and by no means easy. This hike took me around 7 hours round trip but time flew by with the incredible scenery.

The “3 peaks” are the highest hills in each of Scotland, England and Wales, so a lot of driving as well as hiking in the 24 hours!

It would be a big hill here in America...

It's actually a really boring walk. We have so many more exciting walks. One of the routes up Scafell Pike (England's highest) is a 9 hour round trip that includes bits of bouldering and a very small amount of free climbing.

It was definitely challenging at some points. But, I have climbed better mountains.

@@jamessanderson9258 The tourist route is dull but "real" mountain walkers tend to do it via the Carn Mor Dearg arete starting from the distillery. But that's more like a 10 hour day. But much more interesting walking. (It's also where the fork in the path takes you if you keep on past the half-way lochan.) I've also climbed it via the water-slide at the top of the Glen Nevis road, which is much shorter but brutally steep, and a poor path(about 5 hours)
