Some good surfing videos made there when conditions are right. They get towed out by jet-ski, and you get big breakers rolling in from across the Atlantic . Wet suits essential to avoid dying from hypothermia when surfing in Ireland!
Yet another overly dramatic yank making crap for UA-cam
If Americans are overwhelmed by something as simple as driving on the opposite side to usual, it explains how they come to elect a total scumbag with no morals as President.
It's the position you are in the car that's the most difficult to handle. The car sticks out to the left, not the right. I am a Brit, and have been driving in the UK for 35 years, then moved to the States 22 years ago. It was difficult at first but it's second nature again like it was in the UK. Joining from a narrow road into a major road is the most difficult. You have to tell yourself it enter the left lane in the major road not the right lane. (Or Vice Versa!)
Hey, where did you register for this or certify the route?
So I heard about this from my unit. I did this ruck in the beginning of May and I think I signed up around March. I think that they do it every year. Thanks for watching!
I am english. Drove in montenegro this year. First time driving abroad. Had the same issue as you with lane positioning feeling weird
There is no interstate in the uk love 😂
Realized that after we made this video. 😂
Try driving in italy.
We have and it’s terrifying.
Well done, I am planing to do it next year.
Try to sign up as soon as the registration opens. The spots can go quick. Good luck!
If you "didn't expect this" (your words) -then you shouldn't be driving in the UK. Driving and "didn't get time to look around" !?!? - NO - You ARE Driving - keep your eyes on the ROAD!
It isn't rocket science driving on the right and remember that the UK has a far longer history of roads and road building than America. But then, you have to allow for American mentality when they elect a moron like Trump.
You did the right thing by renting a compact van with auto transmission. Scottish country roads are narrow, even well-used ones like the A82.
So glad we rented an automatic. Made our trip so much more enjoyable. 😊
10:37 this is a lie !!!! This is not sheep cheese. This is cheese made from cow's milk.
Really? The sign says sheep cheese. 🤷🏼♀️
@@trailblazinpeppersSeriously. Sheep's milk cheese is only produced from May to September. This is a scam!!! The cheeses sold are made from cow's milk. Sorry about them.
Hab ich mir als Kind immer heimlich in der Dorfwirtschaft geholt
How cool! 😄
Very nice video. WOW. Gotta love Europe. Hopefully you can extend your tour🇩🇪👍
Thank you!!! 😊
It's so funny because as a German I don't like exotic foods from other countries or even things like liver etc. But a good Mettbrötchen is so normal I don't even think about it. I think a lot of disliking a flavor is the prejudice and fear about it you have in your head
It is definitely an interesting food. 😂 Not the worst we’ve had though.
@trailblazinpeppers Honestly dude I'd inhale a Mettbrötchen with no hesitation right now, ngl. That's how good it is 😁😉😜
Jeez. Stop moaning. We drive on the right side of the road.
Thanks for watching.
the coffee prizes are a joke. who would order a small coffee for 3,20€ if medium is only 20 cent, and large 40 cent more lol
When in doubt follow car in front of you stop get your beari gas and proceed
7:40 Don't cross your hands. Left hand on the left side of the wheel; right on right.
👍🏻
7:20 Mouth off. Signals on.
👍🏻
3:09 You're leaving your signals a bit late. Aim for 5 clicks before the action and 5 during. With mirrors.
🫡
2:38 DO NOT gasp, squeal, or yell out, when a driver is trying to concentrate.
🫣
How did you reserve a seat in 1st class? I’m trying to but it’s saying it’s automatic reserved but has a $6 option to get reserved seat. It’s so confusing 😅
One thing, even some British people don't know this. When driving in the UK your phone or GPS should not be in the center of the windscreen. You can have one on the window but it should be in the corner tucked away so you have a fully clear view of the road ahead. You probably won't get pulled over for it but if you commit another driving offence or have an accident it could be taken into account
So glad to know this now for the next time we visit. 😊
Good to see you guts here in Ireland, you've crammed a lot into a short time! We're fairly laid back, although if your ears are sensitive you might think we tend to curse a lot.... You're never much more than 2 hours from the sea, no matter where you are, and we have an innate need to be near the ocean....
It is a gorgeous country and the people are amazing! 😊
Don't look left, drive to just miss the vehicle on the right
Really should be illegal for Americans to breed. Such a stupid race.
Where ever you Read that Thats a lie All germans eat MettBrötchen I am From Munich and Eat it Every other day
jeg boede vidst ved siden af den mvh mustafa lover
Guantee you didn't get on any interstates
😂😂 Guilty.
Is stick shift what the British and dozens of others call a manual gear box?
Yes. It is very common in the US to call a manual a stick shift. Thanks for watching!
I'm sorry but this is really pathetic. Driving in the UK is not difficult.
Hello! I am going to visit Krakow in a few weeks by myself (my first solo trip - I am a woman). Is it safe to walk around at night? Do they have the mugs we can take home at this market? Thanks!
Yes it seemed very safe and they didn't have mugs at this market unfortunately.
You did great on your first roundabout. They aren’t crazy btw, they are a very efficient way of navigating a junction
Yes they are!
If you watch westerns, the stage coach driver always sits on the right, his guard is on the left.
Well done for giving it a go.
watch out for those complex roundabouts 🙂 try India next - they drive on the Left. Or not. Depends on what they fancy that day.
I think we will leave the driving to the locals in India. 😂
Same old same old. You drive on the right, we drive on the left, get over it, it really isn't that difficult. Thousands of Brits drive into Europe and drive on the right in right hand drive cars, and vice versa. It isn't ever going to change with, so many cars on the roads, and with road junctions, signage and traffic signals it would be mayhem changing over. Just embrace it as part of the adventure of your holiday.
Thanks for watching!
When driving in Europe my daughter was given the job of saying "Drive on the right" every time we set off. The most difficult time is after a break on quiet roads
That’s a very important job!
give the girl a break, it's strange and not what she's used to.
Thank you!!! 🥰
The city was German till 1945 and called Breslau. In 1945, 650,000 Germans were expelled from the city. It is the largest city on Earth, whose entire population was expelled. It was the third-largest city of the German Empire after Berlin and Hamburg. Everything built there before 1945 was built by Germans. The city was German-speaking since around 1200-1300. The descendants of the Slavic founders of the village from before 1200 were Germanized, and expelled in 1945, too. Before the Slavs settled in Silesia (the region in which the city lies) in around 400-600, Silesia was inhabited by East Germanic tribes. All Nobel prize winners from the city's university were Germans, and none was Polish. A look on a political map of Europe from before 1945 helps.
Thanks for all this info! 😄
You dumb Americans.....there is no a thing called wrong side. Just say left side/ right side of the road.
god man your a crap driver, keep hands at 10 to 2. you would not pass a uk driving test.
driving in scotland is so cool.
Agreed!!!
1. kinder is owned by ferrero, the same company that makes nutella 2. you should try european KitKat, it's made by nestle instead of hersheys and tastes a lot better
I have never understood the issue that Americans have with driving in the UK as if driving on the other side of the road is like being asked to do brain surgery. If that’s the case why do millions of Brit tourists around the world drive on the other side of the road without any issue.
Thanks for watching!
And we call ‘pull-outs’ ‘lay bys’
Yeah we realized that later into our trip. 😁
Driving on the other side of the road is probably more of a problem for US drivers who rarely get the chance to switch sides as we UK drivers do when making short trips across to Europe
Great family!!
