Did your knew EGR pipe couple up to the stock ntercooler tube with no issues? I am looking to buy the same kit you bought. Would you buy it again knowing what you know now?
+jonathon alonzo Just used a short wrench and a lot of strength and weight! Had to crawl on top of the motor to get leverage. Bent the wrench in the process but they broke loose.
listen to this guy, dont let your y bridge blow out and bust the clips. I lost the home made bracket during a headgasket job and didnt bother redoing it and had the same thing, piles of black smoke and no power.

I had the same issue with lining mine up
I put the same one on my duramax and the bracket holes lined up. Took 2 1/2 hours to install it.

Did your mileage improve? Also do you tow anything of weight
I do tow rvs. Unloaded I'm usually around 17-18. I didn't check after this install. But I did notice some power improvement.
What did you use to break those bolts on your blocker plate

Ditch that crap and do a welded Y bridge.
Do you get any codes
+TIZOC RC
Check engine light never came on. But when I hook a code reader up it does show a few codes relating to egr.
