HI! Is green lipped mussel powder a good source? I can't find any oil you mentioned and no one ship to my country. Thank you!
Green lipped mussels can be freeze dried. Here in the states we are able to get whole green lipped mussels and freeze dried
Freeze dried green lipped mussel powder is a good choice!
hi. what about if i give my dog mussels when i cook for her. it will be good, if i cook a regular mussel and not a green lipped mussel? i like to give her everything natural, not from a can. but where i live its not easy to find those from NZ. She is an small poddle of 3,2Kg. How many she can eat? one per meal it too much for her weigth?
You may be able to find freeze dried green lipped mussels or green lipped mussel powder at your local pet food store! They contain more antioxidants and omegas than regular mussels. If giving the powder a dog between 0-10 pounds would get 200mg of green lipped mussel powder a day!
Here is a great article on green lipped mussels: www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/green-lipped-mussels-dog/
@@DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM thanks u so much for your help!!!
I thought hemp seed oil has too high a ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 for dogs……….I thought it needed to be more like a 1 to 1 ratio, rather than 4 to 1….. also omega 6 is inflammatory……so ration too high.
Could green lipped mussel also be used for joint support?
Absolutely!
Would that alone be good enough or would I have to use something else with it?
@@StephanieMartinez-fi5du I would like to know this too.
Always be suspicious of the fad of the month. Dog nutrition is a big money maker. So if something big and popular starts arriving everywhere, give it a little time before you decide whether to give it to your dog or not.
So how do you know it’s a fad or really good for your dog?
Krill oil made my dogs yeast explode!! He got black dots on his skin, especially on his feet and armpits 😢
How do you know it was the fault of the krill ?
@@Lucky-wt6fg the product was krill oil although it did also contain a mussell I think too but either way shellfish clearly effected him in a bad way.
So in other words dogs aren’t the problem, over population of humans is the problem.
🤢
damn, was gonna buy them krill
Don't preach to me. I'll eat what I want.
