I make kefir at home which has far more probiotics than yogurt and my dog loves it. I always use high quality milk, and have used raw milk from a nearby farm too.

What about Kiefer? I thought I learned from you that it can help reset the biome after veterinary drugs. Is it a good option for prebiotic health? Ty!

What about homemade yogourt ? I use 2% milk cook it in my crockpot, 185 degres than bring down the temperature to 110 and add 1 cup of organic natural greek yogourt. Cover with a hot blanket for night and it's ready in the morning. Is that fine ?

Thanks for the information! You recommend probiotics with at least 50 billion CFU, and recommend the brand Protect because it meets the soil-based and level of CFUs criteria. However, according to their label, it only contains a total of 7 CFU. Could you please clarify?
    Thank you!

I make homemade goats yoghurt and goats kefir and we both eat it and it does us really well. I also make sauerkraut and give him the juice from it. Homemade probiotics have a much higher quantity of probiotics than bought ones. And you can pick and choose the specific strains depending on the health issue you may be trying to tackle. Neither me nor my boy can tolerate fermented cow dairy though so it is all goats for now.

You know when a company cuts down a food, they then try to sell you their own product. So tired of this

I found this video too focused on using probiotics as a central argument to avoid yoghurt, which is misleading. Yoghurt is okay for dogs, as long as its given in moderation.

Most mammals are lactose intolerant. Humans are weird in that they’re relatively tolerant.

Couldn't watch this to the end...so hard to watch the way this video was presented. Not sure why I'm taking the time to provide feedback, as there isn't a single response from the producer to any of these comments.

While I absolutely love your videos and appreciate your content, the constant changing back and forth of angles without the speaker following the camera and looking into the distance at the secondary camera is disconcerting to the viewer. This is common on all of your videos and as a digital media specialist I would recommend you editing your videos different in the future. It really makes the great videos hard to watch and is distracting to the content.

"yogurt isn't the best"-- Oh well. This is not very informative with respect to feeding dogs. A bit of yogurt in a dog's diet is a great addition. Just make sure it is plain yogurt that is thick because of full fermentation. Make sure no sugar or toxic sugar substitutes. If you dog has problems with yogurt then stop giving it. There, I summed it up so you don't have to listen to this long winded video.
