You got too watchJeff Healy song See The Light live. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. I've been listening to Jeff Healy for the last 40 years. He is a hidden gem from Canada. Enjoy the ride.
Hey guys love the channel just wondering do you know Jeff Healey was BLIND? Jeff has been gone since 2008....Great lost talent...RIP GOD BLESS YOU....Jeff Healey
An amazing Canadian guitarist who became blind at the young age of one. His band The Jeff Healey Band was featured in the movie Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott.
What a major talent. Healey was like a shooting star, here for a moment to grace us with his gifts, then gone forever back to the heavens. He left us his incredible music. I liked him in the movie "Roadhouse", too.
Amazing for a blind man. Just goes to show nothing can stop you if you put your mind too it, humans can be amazing Sometimes 👏 ✨ Also please do more Yes 😁👀 God bless 👏
I've not heard of Jeff Healey before - that was a wonderful performance by a very talented man. Incredible to think that he was blind, and I see on Google that he very sadly died in 2008. He left an amazing legacy of music. Many thanks for this reaction, guys.
Jeff Healey was very talented, and he was blind. You really wouldn't know just looking at him, but listen to the passion. Beautiful guitar playing and on his lap.
Hey bros!! This guy was a great musician but his life got cut short. RIP Jeff. And yes Angel Eyes is a timeless song as well as this song. Luv it bros!!!
Unfortunately Jeff passed away at 41 so we will never have the honor of seeing him live but so many if the fabulous musicians I grew up with are passing on and I don't see the same kind of talent to replace them 😢
Jeff is one of our Canadian treasures. Jeff lost his sight to cancer when he was around 1 so he learned to play the guitar in his own unique way from an early age. Jeff unfortunately had his cancer return and he lost his battle to it just a few short years ago but thankfully his music lives on in his albums and videos of live performances. RIP Jeff Healey. Gone too soon. Xo
Jeff Healey, what a great find!! ❤❤ Gone to soon, RIP sweet Jeff!! 😪 Watch him in Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott, good movie on a lazy Sunday in Winter!!
Amazing sound! His fingering almost sounds like slide guitar. He was adopted as an infant and lost his sight around the age of one due to a rare cancer. He started playing "lap" guitar around the age of 3. He was such a talent and is certainly missed.
ANGEL EYES. ANOTHER HIT WORTH LISTENING 2 Talented Canadian and gone far 2 soon.....he was just THAT good .....u wud NEVER know he was blind GO GENTLY INTO THE NIGHT SWEET MAN. RIP
Saw Jeff live twice, front row. Totally amazing. It was like he was channeling the music from beyond. Have seen most of the great guitarists and he impressed me the most.
I'll echo what a few have recommended with "See The Light" from Night Music 1988. It's another epic live performance from Jeff and 3 other amazing musicians. It's definitely a must-see that you won't regret.
His name is pronounced Hee lee so Healey. I love to see young people who weren't even born yet see what a true musician really sounds like. No auto tune or computer cleaning up the track. Saw the guy live back in the day and he was flat out amazing.
Jeff Healey (Pronounced: He-Lee) was a genius on guitar and the soul in his voice would melt the hardest heart! Found to have Ocular Cancer as a child it took his sight. Later in life that same cancer returned and had metastasized to his brain before it was found. 😪
Got to see Jeff play live twice. Once he was headliner doing a full set in a 2000 seat theater. Totally amazing music. The other time he was the surprise curtain call after The Robert Cray band full set before a SRV and Double Trouble full set before an Eric Clapton full set. When Clapton ended the night he did an encore and had Jeff come out with him and rip it up. Stupendous closing tune. More Jeff Healey please.
Had a roadtrip planned to go to Toronto to see Jeff at his club, and he passed that very year. One of my biggest regrets not seeing him live. Been a HUGE fan since his 1st release.
I love the blues, so, Jeff Healey & Stevie Ray Vaughn are two of my very favorite guitarists/vocalists. SO sad they left us so young. All of their fans still miss them to this very day.
He was blind. That's why it was easier to play guitar on his lap...what talent.! SRV heard him and was blown away and tried to get him coverage to become known. RIP JEFF!
If you check out the biography that's on UA-cam, it tells about the reason he plays with the guitar flat is because he had a hard time making the chords with his fingers because they were shorter, once he grew it was just easier to keep playing that way. He was an amazing guitar player. I highly recommend his cover of While my guitar gently weeps, it's phenomenal
Amazing man with so much talent. He did live his life to the fullest. It's just sad we lost him to soon and to young. ANGEL EYES is a great song and his most popular!💝
He’s one of our Canadian treasures. I love talented people that change music forever. You guys should check out “see the light” live. It will change how you see, feel, and love his music! Thanks for your platform, love your reactions.
Ah Jeff Healey .. he blended jazz, rock & blues masterfully. His singing style reminds me of a tame Stevie Ray Vaughn imho. Next react to "See the Light" & you may hear he picks the guitar with the same SRV passion as well. AND I love how he gets up & moves when he plays "Confident Man"!! Not too shabby for an awesome blind guitarist!!! Oh that's interesting .. just read that SRV actually discovered him playing in the clubs. Great reactions guys .. thnx .. b safe & well.
@@ms.chuckfu1088 ...Thanks for that tid bit,I didn't know that. No wonder the cover version was so good LOL. Still, Jeff adds that hard bluesy edge and makes it a better track.
Jeff Healey was another great Canadian artist. He lost his sight to cancer when he was one and started playing guitar when he was three. He unfortunately passed from cancer in his 40's. Check out See the Light from Night Music 1988. It will blow you away! Cheers
Another awesome Canadian! Very talented guitar player! His last name is pronounced “Heely “…So many amazing songs to discover…Not bad for a blind man! He was also in the movie Roadhouse, with Patrick Swayze! Enjoy! 🤘🏻🇨🇦
A very talented man taken from us too soon. I have all of his albums. He was totally blind. He had a rare eye disease as a child and they had to remove his eyes and replaced them with glass eyes. You really need to look into Joe Bonamassa for some incredible guitar work... suggest "Angel of Mercy" live at the Greek Theater
God bless you Jeff, one of the greatest guitarist that we have been so privileged to have. Another taken from us far too soon. I sorry guys, but I did have to smile at your comment that he wasn't even looking at his guitar. But I'm sure that many people have told you that he was blind. Unfortunately, he had to have his eyes removed when he was just a baby. Hence His somewhat unique guitar playing style. By the way, please don't forget to react to Gary Moore The Messiah Will Come Again Live. Link below: ua-cam.com/video/7k07j7LcLqw/v-deo.html You won't be disappointed I promise. Also glad to see you discovering some very overlooked fantastic musicians who deserve to be much more famous than they are. Cheers from England and really looking forward to seeing your reaction to the Gary Moore link. 😁🎸
That song was meant to be chill. More Jeff pleaaasee! Joe Bonamassa also. All blues!! Dudes!! Now a days my Era 60s 70s are at least 70s 80s. So not touring much. Mick Jager Eric Clapton. But lots have retired. Lol. I know I forget my age at times because I'm healthy. Keep on with Beth Hart Joe Bonamassa. Jeff Healy and 60s 70s. Even Dimash. Will blow you away!!
So pleased you've now heard this amazing guitarist guys - and you'll almost certainly see a great jam with Stevie tray Vaughn called Look At Little Sister later, but even greater than this is his version of 'See The Light", he's just a brilliant and unique musician despite his blindness.
Cancer caused Jeff to lose his sight before he was even one year old. It was his blindness that produced his unique way of playing guitar. Sadly, it was also cancer that caused his death at a young age (41, I think). Known primarily for his guitar work, this song shows he also had an amazing voice -- PERFECT for singing the blues!
You guys should check out Jeff Healey and Stevie Ray Vaughan Liok at Little Sister. Stevie Ray Vaughan playing the diuble neck guitar with his brother Jimmy Vaughan. Jimmy stands behind Stevie . It's awesome
Hola. Que buena banda. Tuve la suerte de verlo en la presentación de su primer diaco allá por el 88 y nunca se me olvidara. Fue apoteosico e increible. Saludos.

An amazing Canadian guitarist who became blind at the young age of one. His band The Jeff Healey Band was featured in the movie Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott.
I saw him live! I was about 5 feet from him when he was playing. I was so lucky to have seen him. Amazing in person. Gone too soon.
What a major talent. Healey was like a shooting star, here for a moment to grace us with his gifts, then gone forever back to the heavens. He left us his incredible music. I liked him in the movie "Roadhouse", too.
He is still there.....He is always ......just whistle!
Did you know he was blind? Unbelievable guy, amazing. So much respect.
Classic Jeff Healey 👌
Did he say "he's not even looking at it" at the end of that kickass guitar solo? I don't think that would have been possible.
AMAZING!!!!! Miss you Jeff!!!!
He was an amazing guitarist! He overcame a handicap and got to that level of playing....that's determination!
A laser beam to the heart. Healy was a one -off.
