The audio at the beginning of the song is from the 1967 movie Cool Hand Luke starring Paul Newman. Newman stars in the title role as Luke, a prisoner in a Florida prison camp who refuses to submit to the system. Set in the early 1950s

Slash is sooo badass. You can see/hear him playing thiswith hair hanging over his face, sunglasses, top hat, smoking Marlborough in the corner of his mouth, low stance over his guitar as he totally shreds.

1 thing that is never mentioned about this song is that I really feel like the dact that Slash is half black matters. It adds an element of passion, and anger in our American history to Axls amazing lyrics.

For example, Bon Jovi, who had techniques and didn't sing as well as axl, and remains bad like axl, the difference is that Jon surrendered to PlayBack. everyone gets old unfortunately (done in google translate, if there is any inconsistency that's why.)

During the tour, Nightrain always sings well, and You Could Be Mine badly, and the songs are made so that he can sing them with the same technique.. He simply saves his voice, but he can sound strong good when he wants

The opening is from the movie “cool hand luke”. A classic movie worth watching
Not one of their mainstream songs that everyone knows. Slash's guitar playing is amazing, as always. Also a song with a strong message and deep meaning. If you like Axl's voice you should listen to Tom Keifer, the lead singer in an 80's band called Cinderella. I would suggest their song Shelter Me.
