- Hey guys! Today we measure my sister's height in attempt to further debunk the myth that height is 100% genetics and out of your control! Spoilers: she's not as tall as me, well, not in the same percentile as me unfortunately when it comes to height. In this video, I will break it down for you some of the lifestyle factors that may have contributed to this! Hope you enjoyed!

Im 5'7 in half or 5'8, considering 5'8, at the age of 19, soon to be 20, been watching a lot of videos on how to get taller , this channel is giving me hope to reach my dream height which is 5'10 or 5'11. Soon i will grow taller, i know can grow taller because i can sense it . Just have to believe in God, have patience and pray to god for more strength. I cant give up that easily.
I am sorry to inform you, but your mostly likely done growing if your 19 years old already, most guys growth plates close at 17-18, and after that no more growth after that. The only way to get taller, if your growth plates are closed is limb lengthening, and their is a high-risk of complications, like nerve damage, infections, getting paralyzed, since your 19 you might as well make peace with your shorter stature, because 99% chance you will be short your whole life.

That's a horrible mindset to have! Your height has nothing to do with your mindset it's a genetic trait, you either embrace it(view it Positively, accept it/make peace with it(Be Neutral) or your insecure(Be Negative).
Also, you don't need to be god to know if your done growing their is a thing called growth plates, and you can get an x-ray done on your wrist, and doctors can determine the bone age, and if your done growing, but either way copers gonna cope. @@o_oof
A year ago I was 16.8 and 5'10 and now I'm turning 18 in April and I'm currently little bit above 6'0, My brother grew 3 inches when he was 19, I think you can still gain 2 inches more
@@Iam62-dc4wf No I don't have hair on belly and chest, I just have a little bit of facial hair on chin and moustache area, if you have them then you're pretty much done growing, you might grow 1-2 inches but not more than that

Hey man, when you talk about resistant training, would you recomend train to failure when you are 16-17, id read somewhere that takes a lot on the neuro central sistem and stunt your growth, or otherwise is okay? 5'7 want to be 6 foot
Im 5.7 at 16 yo and 2months my mom is 5.1 my dad is 5.11 i hope to be over 6 foot my brother is 18yo 5.11 idk did my puberty hit i have olny small mustache i have a huge levels of testosterone also my uncle is 6.4 is there any chance for me to be 6+ my dad and cousin had late growth spurt idk will i have i had growth spurt of 23-25cm in 12-15 grew from 140+ cm to 168cm i grew only 1cm in month im wondering will i have crazy growth spurt later i also have joints movement right now and i might have puberty.

I knew i was below average, standing at 169cm (5' 7) at 16, but I did not know that I was in the 28.7% percentile. I feel really short rn.
I expected it to be about 35-45%, but 28.7% is just absurd to me
I exercise 2hours a day from 16 to 18 and eat salmon and eggs and a lot of good stuff but I end up shorter then my father by few cm :(( and my dad isn’t good shape idk how he still taller then me after me working hard I even went from 89pounds to 135 in those 2 years but grew 5’3 to 5’6 I just turned 18 in Nov 17 am so sad idk if I’ll grow

Stop cutting
You shouldn’t cut I’m sure you’re not obese so just eat healthy and you need weight to support growth so eat but eat healthy like no junk food or sugary foods.
im 15 and in the 91% percentile and my sister is 14 and in the 97% percentile
How tall is your sister? I was 15 back in July 31st, and I was in 97th percentile, so I was 5'8.8 at the time, now I'm 16 so 3 months later and now I'm 5'11.5, so by now I should be 98th percentile. By July 31st is when I got my check up and they said I was in 97th percentile, so I'm pretty tall for it so by now it should be a little higher by 98th percentile or 99th percentile, and I'm 5'11.5.

You are probably deficient in a nutrient it might be zinc or vitamin d

Im 5'11.5 at age 16, and i just turned 16 not to long ago (9 days ago), and im still experiencing my first growth spurt, hopefully i can reach 6'3-6'5, my uncles in my family are pretty tall, one at 6'1, 6'3-4, 6'3-4 and one at 6'8, is it possible for me to reach 6'3 - 6'5?

hye mao, im 13 turning 14 in a month and i am 4'10, m mom is around 5'3, maybe 5'4 and my dad isbetween 5'9-5'10. The only dietary restriction I have is that I am vegeterian, i drink 3 cups of milk every day, I sleep from 945-645. What else can I do, with alll these predicters, my adult height renders between 5'4 and 5'6. I have tried everything, somebody please tell me what to do, ideally i would like to be around 5'8-5'10, Is it possible and what should I do?

Yeah you might hit 6ft before 19 or 20
Can you just admit, that you got lucky with your height, and your an anomaly in your family, and your other family members, are probably not gonna grow up to be as tall as you. The denial is unreal, it's not diet + genetics, it's also luck aswell, sometimes you can have short parents and end up tall, and vice versa can be applied, and you can end up short with tall parents. Your too optimistic, if you 17-18 years old as a male, and already 5'6 chances you are either down growing or your not gonna grow that much, maybe an 0.5-1inch. When I was 14yrs old I was growing at a much faster rate, than I am growing right now, I think a big component to this is age, I don't think the growth spurts will be as significant the older you get, and by 22, your almost guaranteed to be done only genetic outliers grow in their 20s, typically growth is done once you reach the ages of 17-18.

What do you mean? This guy was always taller than average for his classmates. His sister is predicted to be 5'6, so I think he is exaggerating. He actually got lucky. His measurements doesnt prove anything.

Lol thats nothing my growth plates closed at 13 and I went from one of the taller guys to the shortest😂
