My three favourites are Wish You Were Here, Meddle and More - More has ability to transport you to the era in which it was originally created, and it's something different, beautiful music!
1. Animals (prefer the remix) every song is fantastic, god tier guitar work and maybe roger waters best concept and lyrics 2. WYWH - again every song slaps, especially SOYCD 3. DSOTM - i cant say anything you havent already headrd about it, another perfect album 4. Meddle - lovely chill a side, and echoes is one of the best floyd songs 5. The Wall - songs are so much better within context of album, amazing concept but out of preference i like the previous 4 a bit more 6. Atom Heart Mother - suite is amazing, if, FOS and summer 68 are lovely and APB is underrated 7. Division Bell - underrated. the lyrics are decent in my opinion and has some great guitar work 8. Piper - fun album, great psychedelic album and syd barrett was a genius 9. Obscured By Clouds - underrated, great songs 10. Endless River - underrated AF, love DG's "on an island" album and this sounds like a mix of that and piper to me. lovely swan song for RR (apart from louder than words) didnt include live releases but my favourite of all their live shows is the oakland 77 bootleg, amazing performances and the last time they ever did careful with that axe
(1) Animals (original) , (2) Piper At the Gates of Dawn (mono), (3) Wish You Were Here, (4) The Dark Side of the Moon (there's -10/-9 HTM and a BG remaster here) and (5) Meddle (Canadian Harvest). Agree ultimately they're all well worth hearing. Other stuff: Did get the Porky Pecko Genesis "Lamb" UK ist pressing. So much better than the current remaster yoy can't believe it so thanks for the tip.
I’ve only got two Floyd albums, Relics from back in the day and DSOTM which belonged to my late wife. I’ve never been a fan but have enjoyed seeing your selection of album. 👍
DSOTM is the only album I've listened to all the way through so can't do a ranking. I thought that was ok. Obviously not a fan but that didn't stop me watching and enjoying the video. Maybe I'll delve into them a bit more at some point.
If you scour Floyd documentaries posted on UA-cam, there is at least one that clips in footage of Claire's live Great Gig performance - surely from the broadcast you're talking about going by the vid quality, and yes - I say as an uber-fan of her and the song - it is....difficult to endure even the few seconds that are shown. Wish I could point you to the exact one, sorry.
Here is the only footage of the undoctored performance.... There is the official video also available but that uses the doctored and pitch corrected vocal. ua-cam.com/video/HOLqx93mrAI/v-deo.html
I love Pink Floyd but I’ve never heard The Final Cut, maybee it’s time to correct this faux pas..:) The thing with Animals Remix is getting a clean pressing I tried 4 times and the one I have is a little noisy but I gave up changing it..! Definitely agree how much of an improvement it is from the original. My list top 5 1) DSOTM 2nd pressing would like of course a solid blue triangle. I must have played it hundreds of times but I still love it. 2) Wish you Were Here. Wish you were here just gets me and really hits hard emotionally. 3) Animal’s Remaster. Best collection of Floyd songs on 1 album 4) The Wall. Having spliffs with my friends listening to this 😂 5) Meddle. Echoes is just Epic but I wish we had the version of Live at Pompeii
My Top 3 - # 1 Piper At The Gates Of Dawn # 2 Wish You Were Here # 3 Meddle .. Runner-up Saucerfull Of Secrets. Those are the ones I like.
Excellent choices
Piper fucking Syd fans man you think piper is better than animals? Or dark side?
I'm totally with you with The Final Cut, some of Roger's best lyrics

That lamb remaster is not good at all... glad I could help, thanks for watching
I so agree with your opinion on Polly Sampson’s lyrics they are “meh”
