This band was a 70's standard for testing how good your stereo was, their production and sound quality was so stellar. 45 years it still stands true! GREAT music too!!!
Don't ever get high quality wide range headphones like Grado or Sennheiser cans. You will spend the next few years of your life relistening to every song you have ever heard.
Im a 72 yo white dude from New Zealand, and cannot begin to tell you, the buzz, boost, joy, call it what you will, it gives to watch you young un’s getting into my all time favourite bands for the first time. Well done guys, Love ya work.
We were so blessed to grow up with the music from the 50s to the early 90s. What an amazing time to be around and hear my parents music and my generation’s music.
Someone in another reaction said that (for those who were growing up when this music era was happening), We were spoiled and didn’t know it. How right they were.
Such a quirky, unique band. Two distinct writing styles and voices with Rick and Roger, John’s various wind instruments, a stellar rhythm section … nobody else sounded like them. Takes me back to high school, a *very* long time ago (sigh)
Imagine brothers, being in that era at that time. All the music to listen to. All different. All unique in its own way. And watching u guys discover it, priceless!!!!!
You guys are spot on when you say Supertramp does not miss. They are underrated, as La said, in the sense that the band is not usually mentioned today when the subject of all-time great bands comes up. But those of us who lived in the 70's and 80's know how good a band Supertramp is. And the production value of their albums, like Steely Dan, is top notch. Supertramp is super talented and sound super live.
Great reaction, guys. Supertramp songs are so rich and multi-faceted... the songs weave themselves with such rich layers of sound. Try 'Take The Long Way Home' next... you'll love it!
Supertramp is a group of AMAZING musicians. Their bassist Dougie Thomson is criminally underrated. He adds so much damn texture and depth to their sound. Added with the production level is up there with Steely Dan. It's no wonder you guys love this band!
One of my favorite Supertramp songs is "Even in the Quietest Moments" both of your expressions always give me a chuckle. It's fun to see your reactions to all these bands you might have heard of but never really listened to keeps me coming back. Fantastic gentleman👍✌️🎼🎶🎸
Supertramp was such a special progressive rock band from the mid/late 70's. This was such an important stage of my life and personal music history when I was in my 20's. Great memories!
Love the Supertramp reacts....I never liked them much back in the day (like Boston and Steely Dan ....on the radio all.the.time and I was younger and not paying attention) but I rediscovered them when I fell into the react video rabbithole and am really digging listening to them along with you - on good headphones they are fantastic - pure ear candy. So creative and so many instruments.....Do Logical Song, Take the Long Way Home, School - you'll love them, keep going!
Love this band, music on caliber with Yes, and Pink Floyd. Very upbeat music even with songs like Goodbye Stranger. This album, and Breakfast in America album are excellent.
Supertramp album releases Crime of the Century, Even in the Quietest Moments and Breakfast in America are perfectly written arranged and played. Every track is great! Saw them 5x live
Absolutely criminal this band is not in the R&RHOF! Great reaction guys, love your intro....short and to the point. Best intro of any reaction channel.
Supertramp is, as one listener put it, “the baby of Pink Floyd and Steely Dan”…rich compositions, tight, complex music that is easy on the ear! The best part, is that there is more to enjoy……
Gentlemen, La and Chi, welcome to anyday-everyday of my middle school and high school years! We never knew what album or song was going to drop next but it was almost guaranteed to be unforgettable. This is such a great ride to be on with you both. Many thanks!
Supertramp will always be in my Top 10 GOAT bands. They are musical ear candy, with such wonderful songwriting and instrumentation. They are a worthy rabbit hole deep dive!
Great song from an iconic band. This band is full of multi talented musicians. You can’t go wrong with SuperTramp. If you want to hear some great musicianship listen to there Crime of the Century album. School, Bloody Well Right those are my favorites along with the title track Crime of the Century. Roger, Rick, Richard Frank, Dougie,John,Keith, Bob among the finest musicians in my opinion in the biz. Keep on doing what your doing it’s awesome.
Some absolutely beautiful songs from Supertramp. Crime of the Century (my favourite) album is deep and wonderful. Manna for the soul! Thanks again Gents!😊😊🤜
I'm so glad that you men do this. All this music that's a part of my life that I heard on the radio but never really had a chance to just sit and listen to you people bring back and give me that chance again. Thank you..really.
Hi, I love the way you two listen and not blab all the way through!! 🙂 That's Roger Hodgson on that 12 string guitar. Have you guys watched the live performance of this? It's worth it to see how many keyboards are actually on that stage. I saw Supertramp live in '79 when this was released. Their light show was amazing (Like when they changed key, they changed color), I have NEVER seen a better concert. They were AWESOME!
Amazing how this song elevates where the sax comes in, though the sax is only responsible for half of that at most. And then the momentum carries through right to the end. I hadn't listened to their music in a long time, and only just recently noticed, watching several reactions, how Supertramp is always bringing little founts of creative inspiration to their composing that adds an extra dimension of interest to so much of their music.
It makes me so happy to see you both in that moment when you’re listening to something special and at the same time realizing how much you missed out on. Glad you get to catch up now. Supertramp are special, but then so is just about everything else you’ve heard. Great job guys. 🔥
What’s up fellas, love you guys and your input and view of songs I’ve loved and heard a billion times! Can not WAIT for the next band you discover!! Supertramp ha a few albums but none of hit like their first two, I was lucky enough to se em live 3 times and they do it good as ANY band I’ve ever seen, been going to shows since 74 so you can imagine. There’s a live concert from 83 in Germany you gotta check out how they do it and WHO does what, pretty freakin amazing
Truly enjoy watching your reaction to one of my favorite bands. Crime of the Century, with "School", " Rudy", etc. Is my favorite. They were dynamic when I saw them at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo. One of their first North American performances. Unforgettable performance.
What I appreciate even more than the magnificent songwriting and musicianship is the fact that the band produced it on their own. The production of this track is some of the best you'll ever hear.
You guys bring joy to me every day I watch one of your reactions. I will second what someone else said. The best music ever was between 1955 and 1995. I grew up with this music. This is the soundtrack of my life. What I really enjoy about your reactions is the joy you two get out of the music that my generation has listened a 1000 times. But you two are different than the other reactors. You two can break down the music in all its parts. Thank you young men!!!!!
Supertramp was very popular in the 1970s. Their sound was unique. It was theatrical and it was like listening to a movie. Got to see them in concert three times. 1975, 77 and 79. I can't emphasize enough of how great they sounded on stage. I saw a lot of concerts and this band was on another level.
This right here, this right here, was Supertramp's first commercial pop crossover hit. They went from primarily progressive AOR (album oriented rock) music that was strictly played on FM radio to AM radio. That 12 string acoustic guitar was the magical touch that propelled this bop to mainstream pop audiences and it worked!
This band was so popular in Canada during the 70s and 80s. Some of the best "progressive" rock ever. Glad you guys got hooked by it. Banger for sure. Thank you!!
Sweet, more Supertramp! If this song is familiar to you it was used in a Hershey's ad campaign within the last few years. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend Take the Long Way Home, and possibly my fave song of theirs, Child of Vision. Banger from front to back!
I’m jealous watching you guys discover this group. You’re right…they don’t miss. Do yourselves a favor and review a few of their lesser known songs. From Now On is a great piece of work, and so is Downstream. The piano on both is perfection. A real masterpiece is Fool’s Overture. It will blow you away.
Talent , no auto tune, no garbage. That drummer and bass player had it going . always such a great song to listen to. Great reaction , thanks for this one !
Besides being a great song the reason you and most people have heard this is that it hasbeen widely used by hundreds of charitable causes. Roger Hodgson the writer has permissioned it's use free of charge for every request. Kudos to to Roger. A class act.
I have not heard this song in a long time. I had forgotten how good the ending was. I was in high-school when this came out. It was a great time to be alive. A definite banger.
Highly recommend Child Of Vision off of the Breakfast In America album. None stop banger with an amazing bass line, piano and jam session for the second part of the song.
This band was a 70's standard for testing how good your stereo was, their production and sound quality was so stellar. 45 years it still stands true! GREAT music too!!!
Haha. Spot On!
Yah, I heard they were quite demanding of the mixers/engineers during live shows as well.
Ha, yes!
That and “Aja” by Steely Dan.
I had a quadraphonic speaker set up on mine 😊 (didn't go down well with the neighbours though 🙄)
Always amazes me how some 50-year-old songs still sound like I'm hearing them for the first time. Dang. This one is rich!
Don't ever get high quality wide range headphones like Grado or Sennheiser cans. You will spend the next few years of your life relistening to every song you have ever heard.
I have a set of wired SENNHEISER HD 380 pro’s and wireless BOSE 700 Noise Canceling headphones. Both are spectacular!
Even in the Quietest Moments is next level Supertramp
Im a 72 yo white dude from New Zealand, and cannot begin to tell you, the buzz, boost, joy, call it what you will, it gives to watch you young un’s getting into my all time favourite bands for the first time.
Well done guys, Love ya work.
What a heartfelt song 😂

You nailed it, brother!
You guys are spot on when you say Supertramp does not miss. You will love 'Goodbye Stranger ' guys
Great reaction, guys. Supertramp songs are so rich and multi-faceted... the songs weave themselves with such rich layers of sound. Try 'Take The Long Way Home' next... you'll love it!
Very poetically said ❤
You guys make my day… every single time!
“School” is another must.
I've been suggesting that too! I think they know it's from the crime of the century album I hope!
Supertramp is a group of AMAZING musicians. Their bassist Dougie Thomson is criminally underrated. He adds so much damn texture and depth to their sound. Added with the production level is up there with Steely Dan. It's no wonder you guys love this band!
Beautiful. Possibly my favourite Supertramp Song.
🎶❤️🎶
Their Even in the Quietest Moments and Crime of the Century albums were phenomenal.
Fool’s Overture and Goodbye Stranger……🔥🔥🔥
Amazing how often Supertramp is never mentioned in greatest bands list. Perhaps the most underrated band ever. You guy’s reaction says it all!
I love that one too!
Always makes me feel so wistful everytime I hear this song. Beautiful.
Absolutely the best song picks from a reaction channel. You fellas are doing a phenomenal job!

« Fool’s overture », « Babaji », « From now on » are one of the great songs out of this album called « Even in the queitest moments »
Supertramp album releases Crime of the Century, Even in the Quietest Moments and Breakfast in America are perfectly written arranged and played. Every track is great! Saw them 5x live
Back to Supertramp!!!! Amazing cut....
Cheers boys....
Absolutely criminal this band is not in the R&RHOF! Great reaction guys, love your intro....short and to the point. Best intro of any reaction channel.
Right??? R&RHOF is a joke.
Here in Ohio we call it the Hall of Shame.
RRHOF is very political, but the exhibits are cool, the soundtrack of our lives….seeing it once was enough!
Supertramp is, as one listener put it, “the baby of Pink Floyd and Steely Dan”…rich compositions, tight, complex music that is easy on the ear! The best part, is that there is more to enjoy……
Great song! Very underrated band in the U.S. Make sure to hit "Rudy", "School" and the title track from their fantastic "Crime of the Century" album.
Love this band. All their songs were a lyrical masterpiece . Should be in the Rock in Roll Hall of Fame.
Supertramp was my first concert in ‘78 or ‘79 at the age of 13 or 14 at my older brothers college. They sound just like the album in concert.
Really tight musicians great harmonies. Great band
This one is a memory song for me. Summer after graduating high school in 1977.
Oh yes, you've hit the magic now... such a great song.
Great song from an iconic band. This band is full of multi talented musicians. You can’t go wrong with SuperTramp. They were hugely popular back in the day....try: Take The Long Way Home if you haven't already.
Even in the Quietest Moments is Epic.
Some absolutely beautiful songs from Supertramp. Crime of the Century (my favourite) album is deep and wonderful. Manna for the soul! Thanks again Gents!😊😊🤜
I saw this band in concert at Alpine Valley Wisconsin. That was early eighties. They sounded perfect when live.
Was there also '83
I saw them there in ‘79 and ‘83. Fourth row under pavilion for the ‘79 show. That place was great but what a hassle getting out.
One of my favorites from ST! Well done gents!
Saw these guys in concert in Seattle in 77! They sound just like this!! I sat 6 rows back and it was totally FIRE!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Timeless beauty .
Layered brilliance never gets old .
I'm so glad that you men do this. All this music that's a part of my life that I heard on the radio but never really had a chance to just sit and listen to you people bring back and give me that chance again. Thank you..really.
One of the best songs that uses a 12 string acoustic guitar. Great feel good song!
Supertramp is so great and so underrated. Enjoy!
No they aren’t
Supertramp are mong the gods of Rock n' Roll!!! Excellent band!!! Deep Rabbit hole!!!! you guys should down that Rabbit Hole!!! Check their album!!!!
Such an underrated band. I love them.

This was a huge song. They had hits on the radio all through the 80s, so many great ones. I just love your reactions, so great to hear from musicians.
TOTALLY love Supertramp!! They are one of the bands that got me through high school.❤❤
That's a beautiful feel good song.

This whole album is excellent. One of my all time faves.
Love this song!
It makes me so happy to see you both in that moment when you’re listening to something special and at the same time realizing how much you missed out on. Glad you get to catch up now. Supertramp are special, but then so is just about everything else you’ve heard. Great job guys. 🔥

This band was so popular in Canada during the 70s and 80s. Some of the best "progressive" rock ever. Glad you guys got hooked by it. Banger for sure. Thank you!!
Such an uplifting “ singalong” song!
I think you’d love “ Shout” by Tears for Fears- so much strength and conviction in doing the right thing. ❤
I love Shout!
Supertramp - a plainly brilliant band! Super innovative, creative, playful. Check out Logical Song for sheer fun.
I used to identify with Take the Long Way Home...
Even in the Quietist Moments is beautiful.
I can see you both get it. Genius band. You would absolutely love “Sister Moonshine,” one of their smaller hits, with a vibe kind of like this one.
Absolutely. Love that song.
First time I saw Supertramp records was in my uncle’s collection, when I actually listened I was like ahhh. Gotcha.
Sweet, more Supertramp! If this song is familiar to you it was used in a Hershey's ad campaign within the last few years. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend Take the Long Way Home, and possibly my fave song of theirs, Child of Vision. Banger from front to back!
The definition of a meant to be song every part from front to cover especially the outro my god
The '70s (as a decade) was a very special time for music, a true kaleidoscope of sound.
Masters of music
You guys made me smile so hard on this one. Thanks once again.
Amazon used it in their commercials.
Title track on this album is worth a listen.
Talent , no auto tune, no garbage. That drummer and bass player had it going . always such a great song to listen to. Great reaction , thanks for this one !
This song and "my kind of lady" are my 2 favorite songs by Supertramp.
There is SO MUCH SUPERTRAMP to listen to!!!! So many great albums! Roger Hodgson’s solo albums are great too!!!!
Besides being a great song the reason you and most people have heard this is that it hasbeen widely used by hundreds of charitable causes. Roger Hodgson the writer has permissioned it's use free of charge for every request. Kudos to to Roger. A class act.
Roger definitely helped put the super in Supertramp in more ways than one
Including Playing at Superman movie
I have not heard this song in a long time. I had forgotten how good the ending was. I was in high-school when this came out. It was a great time to be alive. A definite banger.
Two giant pioneer speakers, a brew and Supertramp. A great 70s evening!
Super reaction, super tune from super band. /. U2. Are super groovy
Their songs were radio staples back in the mid 70's, 80' and even today sometimes.
"Non Stop Banger" = Full Frontal Assault. The sax is fire!!
Highly recommend Child Of Vision off of the Breakfast In America album. None stop banger with an amazing bass line, piano and jam session for the second part of the song.
I’m binging your reactions!!✌️😊🌼
Supertramp a supergroup from the 70's absolutely fire!!!!!!
Loved your reaction to this classic hit !
I am so happy to see that you two are really getting into this. Super Tramp. Wow. You two make me so proud.
Their song " my kind of lady " has some unbelievable saxaphone working it.
Soul, Pipes and horns.
